Joy took care of all that and more. From the time we contacted Joy things went smoothly. Joy listened to what we had to say when we first called her then showed up with a plan that incorporated our ideas with her expertise. Joy used mood boards to help us visualize the plan and updated them frequently with our preferences. Joy took care of all scheduling of contactors and ordering the supplies. She was also easy to contact and really kept us updated during the entire project. I think her fees were a great value and well worth it. She had some really great ideas we would never have thought of. The final product was a wonderful combination of what we were looking for and what really worked. Just top notch work. We are so happy with the final result. I can't even remember what the old bathroom looked like now. We will use Joy for our next project for sure and highly recommend her.

I LOVE her taste and she knew exactly how to bring design elements to life through colors, shapes, accessories, and finishes. Joy is extremely proactive and thoughtful. She is just so kind, lovely, laidback, and relatable! We had never worked with an interior designer before and we are thrilled we found Joy!

Our clients have all been very happy with her work, as well as happy with our painting and remodeling finished product. We have a large painting and remodeling company that does high-end work for our clients, and we do around 200 projects a year. We are a high-end company so naturally our clients expect the best, and have high expectations. And FTC Interiors always delivers. We have worked with other designers (from different companies) who fell short, didn't show up on time, or provided design advice that our clients didn't like- but every single client has been very satisfied and felt completely helped by FTC Interiors and Andrea in particular. She is the best designer we have ever come across, and we've been using her as our go-to designer for many months now. I can't speak for Melissa, but from what I know about contracting and design, it sounds like a classic example of Melissa hiring a designer to do design, and then complaining and trying to unfairly hurt Andrea's reputation when the designer did not also act as a contractor too. It is not the designer's responsibility to install or remodel a home, only to design it. If Melissa chose to not hire a contractor, (and by her own words, she admitted she declined to hire the window treatment company) then that is on Melissa, not on Andrea. If you refuse to pay for an installation service, then how can you turn around and complain that you didn't receive an installation? ‍

I didn't know there were so many pieces to coordinate, but Andrea led me through the process of choosing everything to fit together. She had great advice and also had a good sense of my personal tastes. The installation was later than expected, so Andrea rescheduled (more than once - thank you!) the supplies delivery (which took up my whole garage) so they wouldn't be sitting around my house taking up space. Upon delivery she arrived to go through every single item to make sure everything needed had been delivered. During the remodel Andrea made timely visits to make sure everything was going as planned. She had a good relationship with my contractor and was always warm and friendly. During the project we were short a few tiles and Andrea scrounged up the extras in 24 hours and brought them over herself. Andrea is professional, knowledgeable and amiable. Without a doubt a five start rating. I'll use her services again!

Probably the best thing you can say about our original furniture is that it was eclectic. More truthfully, it simply didn't really look that great, pretty much a "before" project on what you'd see on HGTV. Once Vanessa and Michelle got through with it, the interior of the house was totally transformed. The first step was Vanessa came through the house with her contractor, Arlin, and recommended changes to be made, including updating ceiling fans, light fixtures, installing recessed lights, etc. We didn't do everything she recommended but we did most. Vanessa coordinated all of the contracting work done by Arlin and his team, and provided all the quotes. The prices for the various jobs were very competitive, generally cheaper than other estimates I received from other contractors. The bottom line is that the results speak for themselves. We received multiple offers and sold the house for $110K over list within 5 days for the highest price ever sold in our neighborhood. I couldn't have asked for much more than that. Attached are a few pics of the finished product. I definitely recommend using Inspired Home Design for updating and staging your home. I'm sure glad I did.

She has a great eye for design and color and is easy to talk to and personable-- this was especially important to me since I wanted to work with someone that I can "click" with. There are tons of design options out there and I can easily spend multiple days just trying to pick out a single piece of furniture, let alone trying to make it look good and work with an entire room, so Colleen's services are invaluable. I just let her and her team do the hard work of putting together color palettes, layouts and mood boards and I tweak little details to my liking if I want. My entire house now looks instagrammable (can't help but notice how good rooms look in the background when I take pictures of the kids around the house) and I'm enjoying its looks as well as function every single day thanks to Colleen and RedBird!

The work cost well over 30K and what we received was extremely poor workmanship and shoddy finishes. I have built out two offices from the ground up and even though i have a limited understanding of construction its still far more than the average person. What Mr. Lee wanted to pass off as exceptional work was simply awful. We took photos and even had another contractor look into the work Lee Design and his subcontractors did and he shook his head and could not quite understand how anyone could let this go as completed work. I am not even going to post photos because its a waste of time. Our concerns were passed to Mr. Lee the owner and he sent relatives to complete the work over weekends. Just simply not acceptable. I dont like complaining because i am a business man myself but it just seems that our project was so little to him that it was wasting his time. I also had a project my company was going to use

This included re-doing the bathroom, kitchen and upstairs loft carpet. They also replaced the light fixtures, painted and sold me higher-end dining room table, chairs, rug, couch, pillows and a lamp. Not everything was a disaster and/or a disappointment, but a lot of it was. I'll start with some positives. The interior pieces, although pretty expensive, was pretty good. The rug, glass table and general color schemes were nice (as a then-bachelor, I needed help with the colors). The light fixtures all look great, especially the one we chose for the kitchen. The kitchen appliances are great, although I should have been consulted on the size of the sink because it's small -- I make due, but feel like it was a decision made for me. The four upholstered chairs are horribly crafted. They all wobbled after a month due to poor craftsmanship. I have to get new ones now that I have a family because I'm afraid someone will get hurt. The paint job looks fine...BUT if you so much as bump a wall it leaves a big greasy mark. I like the look and color, but I need to repaint after only 1 year. Also, during the painting process, they painted most of the windows shut and didn't use painter's tape around edges of the trim (really rookie mistakes). I still find paint drips and random things painted over/shut. Changing the filter for my air conditioning system meant having to pry open the grate and crack a lot of the of the paint job into an unsightly mess. The bathroom was redone without a thought to wear one gets their toilet paper. I installed my own later, but I was dumbfounded that they would replace the tiled walls (that included a normal dispenser port) without a solution for the first time one would sit on the throne in their "new and improved" bathroom. The shower is fine, but there was no discussion on the fixture -- they look great but you can't regulate the amount of water that comes out. It's either hot/warm with a lot of flow or cool/cold with low flow. The shower stream also splashes onto the newly installed walls and, as a result, the paint is now bubbled and I'm worried the wall is going to rot. The kitchen appliances look great. The installation of the stove was half-thought out, so it sticks out quite a bit because of the gas nozzle. They didn't work out a solution to do some backsplash tiling around it or otherwise try to adapt to this unforeseen issue. The backsplash is generally fine, but I still find some incomplete silicon edges, globs of silicon, etc. that you don't expect from professionals. I do project management for a living, so I think I know what I'm talking about with work planning, but my standards are not overly lofty. I will sacrifice pretty organization for a good end result. But, this was often a combination of incomplete planning and poor performance as a result. Moments of good work were mixed with mediocre to shoddy work. I was always left having to point out the bad because they would try to concentrate on the good. So, they leave the customer feeling like he's the jerk for asking for what he paid for. Days, weeks, and MONTHS would pass between stages of the project and/or communication on the next stage. Excuses were the norm. A week for a sick friend; a few weeks for an unexpected landlord situation at their office; unavailable workers; things on order; always something and I was always left feeling bad I even asked. My last communication was to ask them to come back and repair fixtures on my blinds that were broken during the painting process; and, to do a few touch ups to the painted over A/C grill. Someone was supposed to come over in a few weeks after their August vacation. Then, when I followed-up the second or third time, I got an excuse and an explanation that they couldn't get anyone there soon because of Thanksgiving... I gave up after that. I just wanted to move on with my life. I waited over a year to review, because I wanted to gain perspective. I don't want to rail against some of the good work that was done and some good intentions that went into it. And, I'm sure some of the excuses were legit. And, I'm sure during the process a corner or two needed to be cut in order to come in under/at budget. When things ultimately went over, they didn't charge me for the bit remaining. I would have fought them if they had, but they willingly acknowledged that things had taken a year to complete and had not gone smoothly. I'm hoping this can be constructive criticism in the end. 2 stars for some of the efforts and always being nice on the phone. They were good with interior design, but not so much with management and execution of work projects.
