Joy took care of all that and more. From the time we contacted Joy things went smoothly. Joy listened to what we had to say when we first called her then showed up with a plan that incorporated our ideas with her expertise. Joy used mood boards to help us visualize the plan and updated them frequently with our preferences. Joy took care of all scheduling of contactors and ordering the supplies. She was also easy to contact and really kept us updated during the entire project. I think her fees were a great value and well worth it. She had some really great ideas we would never have thought of. The final product was a wonderful combination of what we were looking for and what really worked. Just top notch work. We are so happy with the final result. I can't even remember what the old bathroom looked like now. We will use Joy for our next project for sure and highly recommend her.

I LOVE her taste and she knew exactly how to bring design elements to life through colors, shapes, accessories, and finishes. Joy is extremely proactive and thoughtful. She is just so kind, lovely, laidback, and relatable! We had never worked with an interior designer before and we are thrilled we found Joy!

What started as a kitchen remodel quickly turned into a full-home renovation because everything was going so smoothly--and that's thanks to the amazing team at Shea Studio and Duran Contracting. Bonnie was our main designer, and she was incredible--super thoughtful, creative, and totally invested in the project. Leah kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and June (the owner) was hands-on during all the key phases. They were all great to work with: professional, seemingly always available, and flexible. What made a huge difference was how much time they spent upfront getting to know our style and what we needed from the space. We'd never done that kind of deep dive before, and it made everything else so much easier. From there, it felt like they just "got" us--they really took our vision and ran with it. They helped us find the right partners for everything--cabinets, appliances, furniture, lighting, even a custom wine room. Everyone they brought in was top-notch and fairly priced. Plus, they handled all the scheduling, deliveries, and any issues that popped up (like damaged items or delays), so we didn't have to worry about a thing. If you're thinking about remodeling or redesigning your home, we can't recommend Shea Studio enough. They're talented, professional, and just great people. Our home even won a Home & Design award this year--and we've included photos so you can see for yourself!

I was kind of awkward at first, knowing that we might have different taste. However, June listened and adjusted to what I liked. In a short time, we selected a delightful suite of living room furniture. June made sure the furniture arrived on time and arrived on the delivery day to put everything gorgeously in place while I worked on my business, including tactfully putting aside some junk and even offering to hang our art. That gave me huge relief, because it was the day before my guests were to arrive, and I had no time to deal with it. I was also impressed that June did many things off the clock and didn't charge us extra when she realized it would suit our taste and lack of time best to order our art gallery wrapped. June also found a way to repurpose four lamps that we had so that they went with the decor where they were situated. I have already hired Shea Studio Interiors for an additional project to spruce up my bedroom and office. Additionally, June's suggestion to move my office from upstairs to downstairs has tremendously benefitted my business operations, will save me on taxes, and will provide me a better sense of peace in the upstairs, "home" part of my home/office. My family was very comfortable using the furniture we selected (except for the jealousy, perhaps), and my sister-in-law said it looked like something out of a magazine! In short, Shea Studio made our house more homey and beautiful and our office more businesslike and functional. Highly recommend.

We remodeled our entire main floor -- starting with the kitchen, where we removed a wall to open up the space. From there, we raised the floor in the living room and added a pocket door for privacy. In the family room, we also leveled the floor to match the rest of the main floor, updated our fireplace, and renovated the powder room. For a project this big, we needed reliable guidance, and Andrea was there every step of the way. She made great recommendations, patiently helped us make decisions, kept us well informed throughout the process, and answered all our questions promptly. When setbacks arose, she handled every problem with professionalism and grace, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Our clients have all been very happy with her work, as well as happy with our painting and remodeling finished product. We have a large painting and remodeling company that does high-end work for our clients, and we do around 200 projects a year. We are a high-end company so naturally our clients expect the best, and have high expectations. And FTC Interiors always delivers. We have worked with other designers (from different companies) who fell short, didn't show up on time, or provided design advice that our clients didn't like- but every single client has been very satisfied and felt completely helped by FTC Interiors and Andrea in particular. She is the best designer we have ever come across, and we've been using her as our go-to designer for many months now. I can't speak for Melissa, but from what I know about contracting and design, it sounds like a classic example of Melissa hiring a designer to do design, and then complaining and trying to unfairly hurt Andrea's reputation when the designer did not also act as a contractor too. It is not the designer's responsibility to install or remodel a home, only to design it. If Melissa chose to not hire a contractor, (and by her own words, she admitted she declined to hire the window treatment company) then that is on Melissa, not on Andrea. If you refuse to pay for an installation service, then how can you turn around and complain that you didn't receive an installation? ‍

We have worked with here on two full kitchen + bath remodels now. The first one was so successful, that when we had an opportunity to do another, she was our first call. We highly recommend (10 out of 5 Stars) her as a collaborator in your next remodel or new build. Her attention to detail and experience always ends up saving us headache and ultimately money, while we get the vision we always wanted. Bring in Rebecca Quandt Ineriors. My hubby and I hired Rebecca for some consultation on our one bedroom apartment. We moved in over a year and half ago and still haven't seemed to put the place together. Rebecca came over to take measurements and created some amazing 3D drawings of our apartment. And I mean the ENTIRE apartment. Details included pictures we had on the wall and decor on our tables. It really helped us understand what our place would look like before vs. after. She suggested 2 options to layout our apartment and gave us specific measurements for us in regards to furniture we want to replace as well as the new area rugs, drapes and lamp shades. Rebecca offered to help us pick out furniture and when we declined to save $$, she still offered up some websites to check out as she could still help get us a discount. Rebecca was even willing to stay in touch with me as we picked out a couch and coffee table at no extra charge. Little questions like "will this fit because your dimensions didn't allow it?" she answered promptly. When we even picked out the couch we wanted from The Sofa Co, I sent her a picture and asked her if the price we were given was average to similar couches. It turns out she was able to find us the exact couch we wanted for a fraction of the price!!!! I mean, that alone paid for her services plus SAVED US OVER A GRAND!!!!!!! I'm still waiting on our coffee table and area rugs to get delivered next week but I cannot wait to take some after pictures to post!!! I would highly recommend Rebecca's services for the greater LA area for anyone needing interior design assistance and will definitely be using her in the future when we move into a larger home!

If you are looking to furnish an empty space, stop what you're doing and at least set up a call…read morewith the Splendid & Swanky team. For background, I have no interest in interior design and have no business spending real money on furniture I know nothing about. But I found myself in a situation where I had nothing for a space that had to be smartly utilized. And I wanted it to be beautiful. Was this really the time to experiment with Pinterest while spending thousands of dollars? & I needed the furniture to last long enough that I wouldn't have to think about this again for a very, very long time. I also needed to buy everything during a pandemic, when everything was delayed... So I turned to an option I never had considered before - hiring interior designers. I had heard great things about this team and wanted to explore sourcing this huge project out to them. It's a pretty simple process. You go to their website and fill out an intake form that introduces yourself and the project. Then they'll sell up a virtual call to meet and discuss your style, and budget. Then they came and looked at the space, took measurements. Then they pitched a proposal. From there you have to make some decisions. They are going to present you with options that may be outside of your budget. This is where we gotta grow up a little and recognize that if you want nice things, this is how much that actually cost. I was happy to increase my original proposed budget to get what I needed. But there were some peices that I wanted to spend less on and they quickly came back with lower priced options. They were very adaptable there. With that, they placed the order! Over the course of the next few months, the furniture started arriving. They work with a contractor who you can hire (through them, they handle all the admin work) who can assemble, hang, etc do all that work for you. They even came over to make sure everything was hung in the right spots. There is a science and art to design that they are factoring into every decision for your space, and it's worth their fee to get all your nice new furniture all in the right place. They look for beauty and functionality in every detail of the space. So now I have this gorgeous dining room [photo provided]. Our guests are blown away whenever they walk even towards the space. It's exactly what I wanted when I described the target ambiance to the team. Beautiful, relaxed, warm, stylish. I can't tell you how happy I am with my experience with Splendid & Swanky and the confidence it brought me about my home. If you're able to, whenever you're able to, hire professionals to do things you can't do well. It'll always be worth it. Here is the proof.
