We wanted to completely redo our master bathroom and move a wall so that we could add a bathtub. First we worked with Mega's design consultant, Laissa. She was incredibly patient and helpful and guided us through the process of designing our bathroom, choosing all the fixture and tiles, etc. I have no idea how we would have done it without her. I especially appreciated how they gave us a spreadsheet of all of the fixtures and their prices so that we could easily see how every change of fixture affected the overall price of our project. Once the design was finished, Ibrahim, Juan, and the rest of the construction team took over. They were unfailingly polite and considerate while they were in our home. They were even kind enough to wear masks when we requested it (we have an immunocompromised family member). The construction team regularly consulted us whenever they wanted to confirm a decision and the work was finished well within the time frame we'd been promised. Our bathroom is so beautiful that my mom regularly drags family members upstairs to admire it when we have family events at our home. We did have one issue after construction was finished: a stubborn leak that kept coming back. Mega was very responsive when we reached out to them about the issue and was very proactive about making sure it was fixed and repairing any damage it caused. I would happily hire Mega Kitchen and Bath again in the future and I can't give a better recommendation than that.

The short of it is, they did an outstanding job, were a pleasure to work with through both the design and construction phases, and we are completely satisfied with their work. The work was completed almost to the day they'd initially estimated, and there were no cost overruns or disputes. We researched a handful of other contractors and IKB was the most reasonably priced. We first learned of them through neighbors who had used and recommended them. Here are some additional observations for those who want more details: Through the design phase, they offered a variety of options, and their CAD images provided a helpful visual sense of the these considerations. While they came with ideas, they were also very receptive to our design inputs and readily incorporated them into the final design. Their proposed fee was the most reasonable we received from the handful of other contractors from which we got bids. They were very good at problem solving to achieve desired outcomes. Everyone of their team was professional and pleasant to deal with. The quality of their work was top notch. And because it is such a visible aspect of a bathroom, I'll mention their tiling craftsman's work is outstanding. We wanted to incorporate some bold color tiles. That expert was able to make helpful suggestions for how to arrange those for very nice results, and his execution and grout work are just beautiful. Prior to this bathroom renovation, we'd used IKB to build an externally-exhausting duct for our kitchen stove and also install the exhaust fan. They did this work quickly, affordably, and the result is great. They will be our first choice for any future remodeling jobs.

An explanation of why I was ignored for so long was not provided , but certainly heard enough of bragging about how those million dollar homeowners love them. One can only wonder what's the hidden message there. Below is my whole project experience. I hired this company because it was recommended to me by someone who had good experience with them. However I was extremely disappointed on the irresponsible actions from the contract workers after the remaining of the work trailed for more than a year. To be fair, the initial part of experience was what you can expect with any standard professional company, the crew was polite and clean after themselves. After sometime, things began to get worse. The corner counter top was cut completely off center, after repeatedly contact and request for correction, a correction was promised , however nothing happened after almost a year after numerous back and force via email, phone calls, etc . Instead of take initiative and fixing the issue, I was given a phone number, and was told to call the counter top company MYSELF and make appointments MYSELF. After many calls with a lady who clearly has communication issues and barely understand what I was saying, a guy from the counter top company came alone , with a pencil and piece of paper board. He had no idea what was the job is for, and cut the board in wrong angle again. I caught the mistake before he left my home and basically hand held him to draw correct lines on the board. I did his work, and he left, and was never heard again. Of course, after this November 2017 incidence, everything fell completely silent again. I was never contacted to have a follow up again, or even a check in "hey, have you got your new counter top yet ? " or " I have things ready for installation ". NOTHING. From November 2017 to JUNE 2018. Ironically, all the way till I left my initial YELP review. During the summer project period, the contract worker left without making the microwave function , one light switch was installed upside down, one was not installed, thought still got charged . It was stated in the contract that the paint was a certain model, however, worker showed up with a much lower grade and claimed it was the right one. Also the contractor left was two jars of the paint which should belong to me. And painted one wall with the wrong color. AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE PROJECT I'M STILL EXPECTING WORK TO BE COMPLETED --- Update - I have to pay another company to come in , and fix all the mistakes. Also the workers parked in the wrong spot while clearly been told not to. and caused $400 towing fee and still have not paid back to me.

Edgar Alvarado has ghosted me, leaving my project unfinished. He charged me $850 to remove layers…read moreof paint from a stair railing and apply stain. Unfortunately, I made the huge mistake of paying him in full after he told me, "I'm finished." I didn't deduct the cost of the stain, which I had purchased. The stain was applied unevenly, the railing isn't smooth, and he failed to apply a finishing coat. Worst of all, I was home caring for my mom while Edgar was applying the stain and he didn't bother to tell me, "The stain doesn't match the photo on the can," until he had finished applying the 2nd coat! He said, "I like it." It's got a red tone to it, and I don't like it at all. I now have to figure out how to fix this myself: Have it sanded off and a different-colored stain applied. Edgar told me he would install the other railing as part of the job. He did not do that. He was to return mid-March to finish the 2nd half of the project. His worker did not protect my newly refinished hardwood floor, which got scratched while moving a bookcase. In the process of "cleaning" the floor with some chemical after the staining was "done," Edgar removed the finish off the floor. I need to have the floor repaired. I have been sending text messages and leaving voicemail messages for Edgar for a week. It's extremely unprofessional and disappointing to refuse to communicate with a client. I previously paid him almost $8,000 for a kitchen project. It also took weeks for him to return to finish remaining items on that job. He charged $1400 to paint my maple kitchen cabinets white and did not fill the "seams" in the wood for a smooth finish. When I asked about fixing the cabinet doors showing the seams, he said that should have been done before the painting. Warning to everyone out there: NEVER pay a contractor in full before you have taken the time to verify the job was completed to your satisfaction. I trusted Edgar, and I'm beyond disappointed by my experience with him.

We went a little over 10% over budget, which is just about what I expected for a project like this, and I was pleasantly surprised that we actually finished a few days early. Each person on the project - Elena the project manager, Juan the site supervisor, Alexa the designer, John the estimator, and especially the lead technician Cornelio was a pleasure to work with. I have had increasing challenges with rheumatoid arthritis and Dave Taghipour, the owner, and Oksana, the designer, listened carefully to my current obstacles in these spaces and worked with me to develop beautiful, accessible, spaces where form follows function. Their showroom has a wide variety of samples, but they are also flexible about incorporating clients' specific choices. Compared to other design/install companies in the area, they are far less costly and finished all 4 spaces within the initial timeframe they had initially quoted and kept me updated throughout the renovation. The Eco workers are very reliable, friendly and respectful of the clients' space and belongings. Not only did they cover and vent all work areas, they cleaned and tidied up every night and Eco had my house professionally cleaned at the end of the work. Extremely professional workmanship, custom design to include accessibility features…read more I was hesitant to do this project (full redo of 2 bathrooms), as I was concerned about disturbing the integrity of our 1950's-built home. But as the saying goes, "happy wife, happy life," or "happy spouse, happy house." After receiving several quotes, we decided to select All Eco Design Center as our contractor due to the customization features we could select, their extensive knowledge of homes in our area, and seeing some of their previous work. We started the process by sending some inspiration pictures to Oksana (designer) and Dave (owner). Our goal for this project was to maintain the structural integrity of the house and update the bathrooms while maintaining the character of the house and incorporating accessibility features without looking too clinical. After a few design sessions, Oksana and Dave captured our design via 3D model, and proposed some recommendations. I appreciated that Dave's company is a full-service operation, with teams specializing in tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall/finishing, etc. Yuri the project manager was also very attentive and thorough. Each employee's craftsmanship showed they were invested in completing the job as if they were doing it for their own home. As no construction project goes without some minor complications, it is noteworthy that this team is accessible and timely to deal with any unexpected events, ensuring the project is completed to the customer's vision. So, David smoothed out the walls, plugged the holes from the old mirrors, and repainted. CHECK! My mailbox had the gangster lean so he put in a new one. The winds have not been kind to my shutters so he secured them all. AND, the fascia around the garage was rotting so PVC was used for replacements. ALL with time to spare! Thanks again!
