My storage unit with…read moreLockbox Storage Waukee is infested with rodent excrement and there may be damage to my belongings. In making a claim to the insurance you pay for monthly at this storage, the insurance wants photos of the possibly damaged furniture. This rodent infested storage company will not monetarily assist with removing my furniture to obtain photos, nor have they offered to move my belongings out and address their obvious rodent infestation. Instead, storage management provides a copy of your contract that purports to absolve them from any responsibility in this matter. If there was a way to give this company a negative star rating I most definitely wouldn't hesitate to do so. Response to Lockbox Storage Waukee Management: AGAIN DO NOT PLACE YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITH LOCKBOX STORAGE WAUKEE IF YOU VALUE THEM. The response from my negative review post of lockbox storage Waukee management is pretty clear that every comment within my post is true. The Lockbox Storage management team response is a prime example of their "customer first" business model of our rodent infestation is not our problem but yours because you chose to do business with us.

Upon unpacking in our new home, the truck was in shambles. The pics show the damage which amounts to more than $2,000. The owner has basically said we benefited from his cheap labor and he carries NO INSURANCE!!! He claimed he "wasn't in possession" of our stuff so someone else must have done this?? We supervised the unloading and took pics of everything on the truck, as it was packed. Rich, the owner, takes NO responsibility and blames everyone else but the truck was locked by ABF upon them completing the packing. I don't have a key. ABF unlocked it at our new location, which we witnessed. In trying to resolve with Rich he resorted to personal name calling. Extremely unprofessional people.
