She was amazing at handling the situation. 7-31 UPDATE: the guy we dealt with today to sign for our second unit here was far from appropriate customer service. He got mad at the computer and threw his glasses across the room and throwing his hands up like insane and then he punched the printer and knocked a hole in the wall. He had said that today was a bad day but DAMN!!! It was just me and my disabled mom and it was threatening. He was super polite to us otherwise but YIKES his physical behaviors were scary. When we found out there was no climate controlled units available across town Catherine the manager there called Pam the manager at this location and got us taken care of. I was taken right away to see the unit and inspect before signing. Unit is nice 10x20 with the highest ceilings I have seen. At least 20 feet tall. In making a claim to the insurance you pay for monthly at this storage, the insurance wants photos of the possibly damaged furniture. This rodent infested storage company will not monetarily assist with removing my furniture to obtain photos, nor have they offered to move my belongings out and address their obvious rodent infestation. Instead, storage management provides a copy of your contract that purports to absolve them from any responsibility in this matter. If there was a way to give this company a negative star rating I most definitely wouldn't hesitate to do so. Response to Lockbox Storage Waukee Management: AGAIN DO NOT PLACE YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS WITH LOCKBOX STORAGE WAUKEE IF YOU VALUE THEM. The response from my negative review post of lockbox storage Waukee management is pretty clear that every comment within my post is true. The Lockbox Storage management team response is a prime example of their "customer first" business model of our rodent infestation is not our problem but yours because you chose to do business with us.

I have rented storage units in the past and this place did not seem too different than the place I have rented at before. It has all of the features most storage rental areas have, 24-hour access to your unit, first month basically free, clean and well-lit area. The customer service provided by the staff was good. The only thing I would have to say would be it was a bit pricey, but this could just be due to the location or the time of year or even availability of units. (Price may change, I do not know). Overall, positive experience here.
