Tish came out to my house for a prescreening to get the key and meet my two cats and is obviously an animal lover. Even the scaredy one was induced to come out and say hi which is unusual for her. Since then she has always been available been when needed though I do try to give her plenty of warning. Her rates are better than average when compared to other sitting services in the area. But most importantly, I got exactly the same amount of whining from my two cats as I did when a friend would come out and feed them. From the very first the cats suffered zero trauma or angst from Tish as a sitter, and cat owners know how temperamental their animals can be. She can't navigate even a single step, and she needs to be handled gently. Charlie is younger, but he's a bit skittish. When we got them both back after 10 days with Mary, they were happier and more energetic than when we dropped them off. They were part of Mary's family, slept and cuddled with the kids, and hung out in the yard with their family dog. Sophia's multiple medications were administered correctly, as well. Mary also texted us daily updates and photos. Just an absolute pleasure to work with, and so glad we have someone like this to trust with our dogs when we're gone.

My particular situation was that my family was relocating to Seattle with 4 cats. We set things up for Purrfect Cat Boarding to look after our cats for 2 weeks in early December. Things got a little difficult because it took us longer than we had hoped to find a place to live. This meant we had to extend our cat's stay through early January. Due to the Christmas and New Years holidays they were fully booked (they gave us plenty of notice of this too). Even though it wasn't really their fault, once we let Gordon and Rachael (the owners) know about our predicament, they were absolutely wonderful. Even though they were fully booked they went out of their way to figure out how to keep our cats there, rather than forcing us to find last minute accommodations. This saved my family (and most importantly our kitties) a lot of added stress during an already difficult time. On top of all of this, they were extremely nice and very welcoming to us the entire time even though we were new to the area. On top of their handling of our situation, they also have an extremely clean and quiet facility. The people who work for Gordon and Rachael are without a doubt 100% cat people. They treated my cats as if they were members of their own family. As an added bonus they were also extremely friendly and very helpful whenever we asked them about anything. After our very first time there, all of the staff knew our girl, Ella, by name. She absolutely loves the place, the people, and the other dogs. They're really flexible as well, and took Ella in for a few days of boarding when we had a last minute family situation we needed to tend to. So helpful!
