I have brought my deaf border collie to All My Pet Friends 3 times in the last year. I am very grateful for the care they give her. They are always welcoming when we arrive to drop her off or pick her up. I know she gets a lot of exercise and play time because She comes home happy and exhausted. Never has she brought anything home other than some dirty paws from running God knows where on the beautiful property. We will only use All My Pet Friends to take care of our fur baby when we travel. read more

We arrived a few minutes early to pick up our 80lbs retriever only to witness them MISTREATING her next to the main barn while trying to hose her off. The older lady hosing her down yanked her leash so hard it lifted her by the neck off her front legs and whipped her around 180 degrees. I was in shock. Once we got down to the barn, it was extremely uncomfortable as the employees knew what I had witnessed. No explanation was given. We were told that bringing a dog bed and toys for your dog are encouraged to make them feel more comfortable. When these were given back, it was clear that the bag of toys had never been opened and the bed had never been used. They also stole the leash we left with them at drop off, stating "we never take leashes." Right.... Once we finally got out of the barn and into our car, our dog couldn't stop crying and shaking. I'm not sure what they do to animals at this place but we will never go back. It makes you wonder why there are no updates or live video feeds. They have security cameras around the property, it would be easy to let owners check in on their pups while away. What are they trying to hide?! read more

My pugs had a great experience at All My Friends. They got lots of play time and attention. The people who run the place are super kind and friendly. I love the homey feel and the fact that the dogs get to play outside in a huge fenced yard. When we picked up my pugs, one of them tried to go back in. LOL! The gals that run All My Friends are amazing! It is a bit off the beaten path (as some have mentioned), but not that hard to find; & although there's a dirt road leading up to the facility, my wife's Honda Fit didn't have any issues taking on the terrain. The two ladies that run the place & take care of the dogs truly care about the animals. They have two different areas, one for smaller/shy puppers, & another for larger/rowdier doggos, & each one has a great indoor space with couches & comfortable kennels that open up to a large fenced-in area for outdoor play (even with kiddy pools for when it's hot!). You can bring your dogs' favorite blanket or bedding, & multiple dogs can share a kennel, so if you've got a pack, they won't be separated at night. They're also great about giving medication, feeding your pups the specific food you brought for them, & are very organized regarding your pets' belongings. My wife & I have two old dachshunds (one who has back issues), & a younger mutt. We had never left any of them at a kennel or overnight boarding facility before, & we were very nervous, especially regarding our old man wiener dog, who has SERIOUS separation anxiety. When I initially called All My Friends, the gal on the phone was extremely helpful with our questions, & happily arranged for us to bring the dogs down & check out the facility before we set up the dogs to stay with them. After our trip, when I went to pick them up, the two wieners didn't even notice I was there at first; just chilling on a dog bed with another little pupper. So relieved! Bottom line: we were scared to leave our dogs at a boarding facility. All My Friends alleviated our fears, & our dogs love it there. We just booked with them again! read more

First off, if you are trying to find this place for the first time, it is vital that you download the directions because GPS will fail you. We had asked if my husband could drop off our dog half an hour before they usually open, and they were gracious and said yes - just this once. My husband got horribly, wretchedly lost (which must not be unusual, because all of their neighbors for miles have "THIS IS NOT ALL MY FRIENDS KENNEL" posted at their driveways) and was late for drop off. He was told off for being late and he apologised and was embarrassed to have inconvenienced them, but was told, "Whatever." When I came to pick our dog up I didn't want to be late, so I ended up getting there ten minutes early. Since they weren't open yet, I waited in my car so that I wouldn't be in the way. A few minutes later I was motioned to come in and...wait for it...got lectured on being early. I was told that I should have called first. I tried to explain that I was early because I had left extra time for possibly getting lost, but got talked over and lectured. Honestly, I give up. As far as the facility itself, it was rustic but I'm sure that's what some are looking for. The group interaction seems great, but the smell! Inside the barn reeked so strongly of built-up urine, I could taste it. *gag* Long story short, Big, social dogs may love this place, but pampered pooches probably won't. And the human is downright rude. I don't even know what other reviewers are talking about when they mention a picture CD; we weren't given one. read more

I can't say enough how much I love this place. I almost didn't want to write a review because I don't want too many people coming here and making it harder for my dogs to get in. Yes it's far out from Seattle, and if you aren't familiar with the area look up directions beforehand. I typically give them a courtesy call to let them know when I'm 15 min away so they can put the other pets away and I can drop my dogs off smoothly. What I love is that they charge a flat rate. The dogs are not kept in a "run" all day. They get to run free and play all day. Without extra cost. Every time I call Kim is super nice and accommodates my pick up and drop off times. We have only been here twice and she remembered who my dogs were and my One dogs chicken allergy just by their names. We have a bit of an odd pair (westie mix and an English Mastiff) and they allow them to sleep in a space next to each other, but during the day place them with other dogs suitable to their play needs. As the last commenter mentioned, YES this place smells like dogs, I don't see how you could put 25 stinky tired dogs into a building and have it not have a smell. It may not be the best place for prissy pouches, but if your dog love to run and play I am sure they will be happy here. The best part is my dogs come home happy and tired, and I know they are well taken care of. I like to call it "summer camp" for them. And I can't wait to take them here again. read more

I have been using All My Pet Friends for the past three years- and could not be more grateful for Kim and Suzanne. I live in QA, but no place is too far to drive for the times a year I have to travel back east. I have 'trialed' over a dozen places throughout the I-5 corridor, and although its over an 1 1/2 hour drive, I am most confident and comfortable with my dogs here. Both my dogs are large (100lb+) severe abuse and neglect rescues that need particular attention and care. I'm no crazy dog lady, but I am attentive to the fact that dogs, like all other animals have attitudes, preferences and triggers. This last aspect is of particular importance to me, as one of my dogs is highly threated by any dog who shows ANY type of aggression. AMPF does an excellent job of knowing each dog, as well as their behaviors, and in my case, my girl is always kept safe and around other dogs of her happy, playful nature. To the review who comments on Kim- I could honestly care less if the caretakers I leave my dog with are "people persons" I care that they are "dog people. " Kim and Suzanne are as dog whisper as it gets. Both dogs come back happy, healthy and in good spirits. read more

I have heard nothing but, top notch reviews. I currently work at another place similer. But after looking at this, it cuts the cake. My love for animals is like no other. I have been a nurse and I have done home care, but working witrh people is not as rewording as working with animals. You wouldnt believe how working with dogs is so much like working with "THE POLITIST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD?" We took our quirky girl Clover here for the week and she loved it! She's a husky-mix/rescue with some weird eating habits, fear of dudes, and lots of separation anxiety, so I'm always a bit nervous to leave her high maintenance self with someone new. :) I was recommended here and will make it my go-to doggie ranch! I love that she received such specialized care and was able to take her favorite blankie/toys. The number of dogs under their care seems *much* lower than other places we've checked out. Kim was paying attention to her eating/health stuff and gave us all the notes when we picked her up. Another tale tell sign - our pup normally pulls us to the car and seems super stressed when we pick her up from daycare or boarding elsewhere. This time she was super calm and pawed at Kim and Kyle for a few pets as we said goodbye. :) So cute! Two notes worth mentioning: its a bit far from Seattle. I'd say ~1 hour? I'll gladly make the drive every time since its a good fit, but still something to take into consideration. Also, its not pen/cage free at night - they get an open air area or "bedroom" - which has more pros than cons for our girl (lots of time to eat, calm down after playing, all her own stuff from home) but I know some dog owners may be seeking out a more communal space. (Note: Its very open and free range for the pups all day long.) While a traditional crate would be a deal breaker for the pup, I'm thinking getting some space has its perks for her over the 100℅ pen-free setups. Other fun things! Homemade stew, several huge yards to help split up pups by temperament, and a cd of fun pics from their visit. :) read more

What an amazing place! Everyone who works there really cares about dogs and their happiness. They have a huge open area with lots of things for all the dogs to do and don't charge extra for outdoor time or walks. My dogs are always happy and healthy when they come back, tuckered out from all the exercise and sometimes they don't even want to leave because they're having such a great time. You usually also get a photo CD of your dogs at the end of the stay so you can see how much fun they were having. I live in Renton so it's usually an hour drive to get here (sometimes longer with traffic), but I can't imagine taking my dogs to any other boarding place. read more

Just took our two small dogs here for the first time. We've had problems finding boarding options that are reasonably priced but that still treat our pups well. This place is perfect. They obviously are dog lovers first and business owners second which I think makes a huge difference in how well your dogs are treated. We appreciated that everything is included in the price of the stay, no extra charges to be let out of the kennel to play. The pups got to run around and play all day. We rarely board our dogs so felt a bit anxious about leaving them with just anyone. After touring the property and meeting the owners we felt it was the perfect fit for our 3 dogs who have the run of the house and yard at home. Plenty of acreage to run around and an interior space with couches and chairs to lay low. It eased our worries knowing they'd be running around and having a good time instead of sitting in a kennel for several days. Thanks to everyone for taking good care of our four-legged family. I've brought my dachshund mix Jack here a couple of times this year as I travel back and forth from Seattle to CA. He has so much fun playing with friends, and always comes back exhausted but extremely happy. Kim and Suzanne give me updates on how he did when I come to pick him up, and I absolutely adore the photo CD! He loves it here; he runs around like a nut every time we get inside the gate. I found All My Pet Friends through The Best of Western Washington. After calling for more information, they invited us for a visit with our labradoodle puppy to take a look at the location and talk about their boarding practices. Compared with all the other boarding places I was researching, All My Pet Friends lets your dogs run around the huge property all day and gives them a few hours rest after dinner so they can calm their stomachs before running around for a couple more hours before bedtime. All the other places I researched charged you extra to take your dog out for a walk or a belly rub! Here, your dog is not locked up in the kennel and can just hang out inside or outside with the rest of the visiting dogs. You pay a flat rate and the first night is a comp to make sure your dog is okay to be boarded, etc. We left our pup here for three nights and we picked him up thoroughly exhausted and happy. They are good people here and even sent us home with a CD with pictures of our puppy's mini vacation. How thoughtful! Highly recommend and so happy we have found a good boarding place for the future. read more

This was our first time at All My Friends and our Cairn Terrier, Maisie, loved it! She came home happy and tired and needing a bath - perfect! That meant she was out running around and having a good time instead of sitting in a 4'x12' enclosure for 5 days. We'll definitely take her back here. Thanks to everyone for taking good care of her.
