Sophie seemed to relax the moment she met the people there. I felt okay (and that is saying A LOT) leaving her there. She was happy (not nervous, not scared, not bolting) when we came to pick her up. She had not lost weight or hair while we were gone. She was perfectly happy, how cool is that? Did I mention they bathed and groomed Sophie (a German Sheppard)? "She hasn't ever looked as good as when they groomed her!" Those are my husband's words, and I couldn't agree more! First, it's located just a few miles from where I live in Monroe/Snohomish. Second their charge to house 2 dogs was far more reasonable than any other places in the area. Lastly, Melissa was responsive to all my calls and emails. Their business is there home so someone is there pretty much all the time. They separate the big dogs from the little ones and everyone has their own place. Plenty of room in the backyard to run and play and they have a pool. I highly recommend Lucky Dog Resort.

My dogs are not easy to board, since I have a dog-reactive German Shepherd and a rescue Belgian Malinois that is shy with new people and reactive to some dogs. My Mal warmed up to Eileen immediately and my GSD is not reacting nearly as badly as I though to the other dogs at her facility. Who are these dogs!? Biggest thing is that they are happy and not stressed when at boarding. I am so thankful that I found Doggone U, as I travel often for work and I don't have to worry whenever I leave town. The care is excellent and the love that Eileen has for the dogs really shines through with the quality of care. Her training classes are excellent, as she really has a feel for each individual dog and owner. I drive over an hour each way for boarding and training with her, and let me tell you...it is worth it!

Neither of these visits did we get a call from them letting us know so we could take action earlier. Our dog was clearly not walked or looked after on either of these visits. Unfortunately we will not be returning, and I recommend that you try another place first.

My smaller dog had a curvature in his back indicating he had been kept in a crate or kennel that was too small for him, according to my vet. My larger dog had a raging infection, temp of 104 (101 is normal), very high white blood cell count, would not eat...He had to be put in antibiotics. I don't know what happened to my dogs at this place, but it was not good. I would actually say I would give them no stars. My larger dog was so bad that we were talking about euthanasia.

I took my 3-year-old…read morelabradoodle, Simba, to their 2-week board and train program with Jamal, and the difference is honestly night and day. Before training, Simba had zero structure -- he pulled hard on the leash, barked at everyone and everything, and even bit my 2-year-old daughter. He was always a house dog, and I'll admit I let him get away with a lot. But after that bite incident, I knew something had to change. From the very beginning, Jamal really took the time to understand our household and what we needed, especially with a toddler in the mix. When Simba came home, I could not believe it was the same dog. He's now calm, obedient, and responsive. He no longer pulls on the leash or nips at anyone. He listens to commands, doesn't bark excessively, and has such a better sense of control and focus. What really stood out to me is that Jamal didn't just train my dog -- he also trained me. He gave me the confidence I needed as a dog owner to trust my dog and to trust myself. I now feel like Simba and I truly understand and respect each other. I originally came to see them about my dog's leash reactivity and ended up attending their group obedience classes. The classes are structured in a way that is easy to follow and interactive. Despite it being a group class I felt like the trainers spent equal time with each person/dog always providing constructive feedback and encouragement. They have also provided me with recommendations for various training tools. They really do look at each dog uniquely as some dogs may need a more stern approach to obedience while others, like my dog, need some encouragement. I also highly recommend the agility program! It is a great way to check out the dog sport world! There are only a few people I would trust to watch my dog Betty and the Vonwaldberg team is one of them.

Eating wow this girl can eat, run, do sprints around the house, yard and is super excited. I am too lol. Potty training is going very well in the morning she wakes me up with kisses to say she has to go and stands by door we go out. We have a routine. Totally recommend Homeward Per adoption to everyone.
