I saw the amazing reviews for Hippie Hounds and decided to give them a call. They were available for same day scheduling and gave me a very accurate estimate (a fair one too). They made drop-off so easy. They were all so kind and made me feel comfortable about leaving Nugget with them. Upon picking her up, it was seriously like I was picking up a new dog! She literally looks like she shed 10 lbs of coat. They gave her a cute bandana and everything! I'm so glad they made her first grooming experience positive because we've already talked about getting her regularly groomed here! P.S. they gave her the cutest peach butt trim! I'm obsessed!!

The comment from the owner is far from truthful. My dog was already on the grooming table when she…read moreasked me to leave, and she did not have her pinch collar on at that time. The pinch collar is only used when entering the store because she is a strong, easily distracted one‑year‑old, and the shop is located off Highway 99. I would never jerk her collar or harm her -- that makes no sense, and anyone who knows me or my dog can confirm that. She is a gentle, well‑loved 58‑pound dog, and at least 50 people in my community can vouch for how well she is treated. The owner told me not to come back because she felt I was "disrespectful" to her husband. In reality, we were simply discussing the pros and cons of a pinch collar. No voices were raised until the owner raised hers. It appears she did not like what I was saying and reacted by asking me to leave. Her later claim that I was abusive to my dog is completely untrue and seems to have been made to justify her actions. I did not have a pleasant experience there, and I don't need to return. PetSmart continues to groom my dog, and her nail trim and file cost $20.

Self Wash Review: I…read morewent on a Monday at noon and two dogs walked in right before me and mine. The check-in assistant told me that it might be a long wait and maybe I could walk my dog while we waited. Unfortunately as a basic human being I cannot control when a person decides to wash their giant long hair schnauzer 3 seconds before me. So I inquired about reservations and returned the following morning. They were ready and waiting for us! Everything was as clean as it could be. I don't understand the negative reviews about cleanliness, how do dog salons stay fricken clean? The tub was clean, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were labeled and freshly filled. Aprons were nice and not dingey. The selection of brushes and combs was magical! I've been wanting to try a deshedder brush! I loved this place and my boy is so fresh and so clean! We will be back!! Worth the $30!!! If they had a spend $150 and get a free wash or a self wash punch card that would be nice too! Lastly, the staff were friendly. Idk how much the negative reviewers want staff to talk but I don't want to have a conversation while trying to clean my dog and get on with my day! If you are looking for conversation, Edmonds off leash dog park is 0.1 miles away.

Last min change even had our appt a day earlier and groomer was able to show up earlier than said time. I like the fact it's one to one service. There's no waiting to be shampooing or haircut. Lonnie did a great job and treated Elon awesomely. We've already booked for next appt. Elon wasn't stressed from this grooming which is the most important. Thank you and I am very happy with the result.

He's an 80-lb Sheepadoodle and, unfortunately, is not a fan of being crated, so finding a place that could accommodate him was really important to me. What I loved about Suds is that there's no crate time. They start working on your dog as soon as you drop them off, and you can pick them up about two hours later when they're finished. Our experience was wonderful. Honestly, I was much more nervous than my dog was! The staff were very accommodating and reassured me that they would take things slowly with him. He was quite nervous during the grooming, but they were so patient and caring, and they did an excellent job. I had noticed some older reviews from about two years ago mentioning nips and cuts, which made me a little hesitant. However, our experience was completely different, and I'm so glad we gave them a try. The pricing is a little on the higher side, but I do think you're paying for a more premium, personalized experience. For us, it's absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be coming back, even with the 45-minute drive!

The cost for the service is very reasonable when compared to others. The self wash offers the best self wash experience I've had by a mile. It's not always a perfect experience. This was the first time he was getting his haircut and my boyfriend and I were really nervous about getting him neatened up because we knew it would be quite a task to get it to look natural and not choppy. After finally mustering up the courage and making the appointment here, I sure am happy with the results! Crystal is very friendly and answered all of our questions. She also walked us through Milo's haircut to be sure it would turn out exactly how we wanted. I was surprised by how fast they got the job done! In my opinion, I thought this was a quick job because the first time we got Milo groomed was at PetSmart and it took over 4 hours when he didn't even get a hair cut! Just a bath and toe nail and paw trim. Our appointment was at 1230 and Crystal quoted us around 3. A little after 3 they called and let us know Milo would be ready in 15 minutes. When we first laid eyes on our new Milo we both were grinning from ear to ear. He looks spectacular! Crystal did an amazing job and blew me out of the water. We will definitely return when it's time for Milo to be groomed again. Dirty Paws pricing is very fair. On the phone when I had book the appointment she told us it would be about $45 and our total came up to be exactly that. I also know PetSmart charges about the same price for this service. Thank you Dirty Paws!

This was my first time having anyone pamper my baby and I can't believe I got so lucky my first try. First he came and sat inside to get acquainted with her before they went down the driveway alone to minimize separation anxiety :) Bella loves pretty much everyone so I knew that wouldn't be as much of an issue for her. Austin also knew I was personally nervous and he actually texted me a few updates right from my driveway- I dang near cried when his first text was complimenting her on ear cleaning. She has chronic infections with age and needs weekly deep cleans. He was happy to use my own ear product just so I could have that peace of mind for her routine. When she came back to the door- she was happy and I was floored!! Smelled and looked beautiful. Was not in distress as you can hopefully tell from these 'after' photos- she could not stop smiling!! I also want to share something I found special about Austin. I mentioned the realistic expectations earlier in the review but this part is important. His complete honestly and care blew me away. At the end, he mentioned that her nails were a bit longer than either of us had hoped. He explained she had quicks that were visibly and surprisingly long so he wanted to err on the side of caution. I know I had been slacking in the nail department, as well as walks for natural filing. But he was in no way accusatory and just wanted to be up-front and that is so important. After he left (Bella did not want to say goodbye) she had more energy than she does after I bathe her myself!!! I am looking forward to improving my home maintenance after chatting with Austin, but I also cannot wait to have him come back All I wanted was for someone to take their time one-on-one and give her a well deserved pamper and I'm pretty convinced we found our person Thank you so much Austin!!
