They made drop-off so easy. They were all so kind and made me feel comfortable about leaving Nugget with them. Upon picking her up, it was seriously like I was picking up a new dog! She literally looks like she shed 10 lbs of coat. They gave her a cute bandana and everything! I was told we will be on the waitlist for next day. Sure enough. Sat morning around 9:30 was told to come in if we still want to have it done. YES! We got in and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The place were so busy with dogs been groomed and there were also self wash area. It was well orchestrated business. I liked Elon came out all fresh and soft. I know washing and grooming dogs are not easy and simple which I've done it on Elon for few years which took me all day and we both ended up exhausted. I appreciate groomers knows what they are doing and keep the dogs happy. I like how Elon looks after his grooming and Elon knows he looks great too lol. They must've wanted to leave by 7:00 or earlier is my guess and my business was about to be in their way. They do not care about customers. She also walked us through Milo's haircut to be sure it would turn out exactly how we wanted. I was surprised by how fast they got the job done! In my opinion, I thought this was a quick job because the first time we got Milo groomed was at PetSmart and it took over 4 hours when he didn't even get a hair cut! Just a bath and toe nail and paw trim. Our appointment was at 1230 and Crystal quoted us around 3. A little after 3 they called and let us know Milo would be ready in 15 minutes. When we first laid eyes on our new Milo we both were grinning from ear to ear. He looks spectacular! Crystal did an amazing job and blew me out of the water. We will definitely return when it's time for Milo to be groomed again. Dirty Paws pricing is very fair. On the phone when I had book the appointment she told us it would be about $45 and our total came up to be exactly that. I also know PetSmart charges about the same price for this service. This was my first time having anyone pamper my baby and I can't believe I got so lucky my first try. First he came and sat inside to get acquainted with her before they went down the driveway alone to minimize separation anxiety :) Bella loves pretty much everyone so I knew that wouldn't be as much of an issue for her. Austin also knew I was personally nervous and he actually texted me a few updates right from my driveway- I dang near cried when his first text was complimenting her on ear cleaning. She has chronic infections with age and needs weekly deep cleans. He was happy to use my own ear product just so I could have that peace of mind for her routine. When she came back to the door- she was happy and I was floored!! Smelled and looked beautiful. Was not in distress as you can hopefully tell from these 'after' photos- she could not stop smiling!! I also want to share something I found special about Austin. I mentioned the realistic expectations earlier in the review but this part is important. His complete honestly and care blew me away. At the end, he mentioned that her nails were a bit longer than either of us had hoped. He explained she had quicks that were visibly and surprisingly long so he wanted to err on the side of caution. I know I had been slacking in the nail department, as well as walks for natural filing. But he was in no way accusatory and just wanted to be up-front and that is so important. After he left (Bella did not want to say goodbye) she had more energy than she does after I bathe her myself!!! I am looking forward to improving my home maintenance after chatting with Austin, but I also cannot wait to have him come back All I wanted was for someone to take their time one-on-one and give her a well deserved pamper and I'm pretty convinced we found our person Thank you so much Austin!!
