Clean your table when you leave, please

Newly opened "fast food" place. I had heard about the one in Plano, but had not been there. I knew it was fresh food and economically smart. I went inside to get the lay of the land. You can tell by the way it's set up, keeping the prices low is the goal. That means - you order yourself on a kiosk. You clean off the table yourself if you want to sit there or after you are done (cleaning supplies provided). You even mix your own drinks (refreshers). I didn't mind this, because I got a drink and protein bowl that served as 2 meals for about $12. The Angie's Refreshers. This was cool. It's club soda that you can mix in fresh fruit puree. You get to pick 2 puree flavors as part of the drink. I did a pineapple and peach mango. I got an extra pineapple, because I was not paying attention to the ordering. I used it at home to make a homemade version. I got the cup and puree to make a DIY refresher. I got the protein bowl - grilled chicken, sweet potato, grilled broccoli, avocado with a pesto sauce. Sauce comes in a packet to DIY. The chicken was generously seasoned and juicy. The food was freshly cooked and hot. I really enjoyed it. I don't mind doing a little work, especially if I am not spending more than $20 on a lunch.

Healthy and fresh fast food is always so nice to have close by! The menu is simple and seems fairly affordable. It's very similar to salad n go but with a lot more options. I fear this concept may be too healthy for the location but I hope it can last!! The fish sandwich was tasty for my son and he said the bread was even good. The Asian chicken salad was good but a bit spicy. We will def go back.

Overall good. The salmon bowl looked a little empty when I opened it which was a little bit of a surprise but I was full afterwards. Got the salmon protein bowl falafel quesadilla. Total bill was $13 in change.

And the food was fantastic and very good portions! + Quesabirria was amazing! Great flavor and full of meat and cheese + Menudo is also excellent. I just got the small and it was pretty decently sized. + Ceviche and octopus tostadas were also very nice. Probably like the ceviche better than the octopus though. + Street tacos were also very fresh and well filled. Probably our favorite taco place in this area!

Unfortunately both our meals were incredibly salty, and I say that as a salt lover. The salsa verde on my chicken and the chili con carne on his burrito were both too salty. The beans are a bit watered down as well. The menu is extensive here so I'm curious what the other meals are like- there definitely seems to be a fusion of two cuisines happening, which I actually very much appreciate. The staff is very kind! I'm all about customer service. As far as the setting, the music was a little too loud for me but it's a very causal vibe here and also plenty of tables and space, and lots of tv's. It was disappointing the draft beer wasn't working also. I might give this another try.

I first heard about this spot from a BBQ server in Lewisville (food people know food, so I trust…read more'em). It's a bit of a trek from where we live, but worth the journey--plus, fun fact: they're building DFW's second Bojangles in the same strip mall. (Exciting times, people.) We hit up lunch, which seemed like a great deal. I had a fajita craving, so mixed chicken and steak it was, while hubby, a true Tex-Mex traditionalist, went for a chile relleno. But let's pause for a moment--why is finding real-deal Tex-Mex in DFW such a struggle? (I have questions.) Our waiter, Able, was warm, welcoming, and on it with drinks and a glorious chip trio featuring: A warm black bean dip (our fave) A fresh green salsa A smoky red salsa And then... my fajitas arrived, SIZZLING like they were trying to set off the fire alarm. Huge portion, served with all the fixings--rice, beans, tortillas (not house-made, but miles better than grocery store versions), sour cream, pico, lettuce, and cheese. I barely made a dent in 1/3 of it. Leftovers = tomorrow's best meal, confirmed. Can't wait to return and tackle their $7.99 enchilada plate on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Marking my calendar now. Bathrooms were clean. I would say the booths need to be recovered as some were duck-taped, and they were a little low for this shortie!

We ordered only pupusas, mixed with chicharron and cheese and although the size was generous the cheese was weird, like watery and it barely had chicharron. Repollo and salsa were fantastic, so were the beans and the salsas that came with the chips (not a fan of the dyed chips though). Service was very attentive. Overall not a fan.
