Food is good. Edible. Hot and fresh. The ambiance is trendy sports bar like. Service is just slow. The first time we came the World Cup was on so we figured the service was slow due to the event but this time there was not a lot of people, which I really appreciate, and the service was still slow. Is worth visiting just don't expect a fast service at all. read more

Husband had wanted to try this place for a while it's nearby us so we finally did tonight. Service was horrible. Husband ordered himself a beer and mashed potatoes for baby to come out first since she was fussy. Never came out. He finally asked where his beer was and was told "it must not have gone through" so he ended up getting it well after we received our dinner. Mashed potato's were inedible but I don't fault them for that it's a wing place. However I asked the waiter what drinks came with the kids meal for our older daughter and she mentioned strawberry lemonade so we ordered it. Ended up charging us $7 for a 6 year old to drink one cup of lemonade... even tho kids menu mentions it includes a drink.... They don't print the receipt til after you pay so even though we tried to double check the little tablet thing they have it is so small and can't see the whole bill so we didn't realize til after we paid. Anyways 2 stars because the wing sauce is really good, but the wings themselves are veerrrry small. Fries and tots were good too. So all in all if we ever ate there again it would definitely be a take out order. read more

Just had the most horrific experience at this place. I ordered the buffalo ranch, their banito and buffalo hot wings. Well the pictures tells the story. The buffalo ranch was hard, lack any seasoning and no buffalo sauce flavor on them whatsoever. Oh and they charged an additional $2.50 per flavor for the extra sauce/flavor. Needless to say this will be the last time ever going back to this dumpster fire of a place! read more

TLDR: We spent more time waiting for the 1/4 full restaurant than actually eating the food. Quick stop on a Sunday afternoon had us swing by here on the way to a friend's house. Although we were promptly greeted and seated, it seemed like the server was thrown off when we were ready to order immediately. So, within 5 minutes of walking in the restaurant we were able to place our order. However, despite there only being 6 of about 20 tables occupied, it took 18-20 minutes to get our food. Our order: Blackened Salmon tacos Chicken bowl The server was apologetic, which is nice but didn't really accelerate the service. Service: Friendly, but really slow 6/10 Food: 8/10 - salmon was hot, the tortilla was warm, avocado on the taco, fresh. It was pretty good. Atmosphere: 6/10. The lighting was cold and harsh. Despite dining during the day, it seemed dark and overly lit with cold (color temperature) lighting. Would I go back: Yes, to do a Wing comparison to other brands Would I recommend: Nah. Evidence isn't strong enough to send people there. read more

Came here on the dollar wing day. Tried waving down the server like 5 times and she just walked past me dead stare in here eyes. At one point the bartender asked me if I needed something. No, I was just waving hello. Yeah I need something! Place is dead, tables are dirty. To top it all off, I watched the bartender (the blonde girl that is in all of the social media posts) using Taaka to make my strawberry refresher. It is advertised as having Tito's. Not cool! Wait was tooo long...I wouldn't mind it if I was told before hand. My lady and I have been coming here twice a month (or more) since open. Will not be coming back. read more

Wings 5 Service 4 Ambience 3 Value 5 Excellent wings. I especially enjoyed the extra crispy smoky bourbon. Service was attentive. Ambience was not for me. Loud music, loud conversations, cold, bright, sparse, and booth seats too far from table (both sides). Value. Everything on their menu (good variety) was very reasonably priced. Will I be back? If I'm in the mood for good wings and don't mind being overstimulated, heck yes. read more

Food is usually good. Service stinks. Bartender is used as a server as well which provides poor service to both types of customers. This is an ownership/management issue which ruins what they have going for themselves. read more

Great food... steak fries is delish, wings are yummy--- we like lemon pepper and their mean wings: Honeyed sweetness and mellow chili with big garlic flavor! Their service is So so, hit or miss, depending on the amount of servers that are working and how busy they are. Overall, a great place for food and family fun. read more

I called in a order for a 10-piece bone-in wing. Half Texas Heat and half Lemon Pepper. The only complaint I have is the price. They are a bit higher than competitors but the wings are WAY better! Great size, crispy, nice flavor, and my order was fresh. They have a interesting menu and I will definitely try something new next time. Highly recommend! read more

First time visiting for lunch, couldn't have had a better experience! Our server Jenna V. was amazing, she explained the menu and let us try any of the wing sauces before we ordered to make sure we liked them. They put the games on we wanted and the wings were very good! The onion rings were amazing! Large menu with many options, we will be back. read more

I was so excited to try Wings Over Frisco after reading the reviews. I always love trying a new restaurant close to home. The staff was very friendly, but the service was extremely slow, Especially when they only had a few occupied tables. The decor and restaurant seem to have a great vibe if we hadn't gone for lunch. The wings came out quick and hot. They were huge! I tried the smoked maple, and they were delicious!! The ranch was yummy, too. I will definitely return to try the other flavors. The fries were good as well. The Texas hot was too spicy for me, but my son loved them. read more

Stopped in for a Friday lunch. The service was not very good especially being one of two tables in the entire restaurant. had to consistently ask for refills, never took away dirty plates, and kind of had the attitude that he didn't care if we were there or not. The food was pretty average. the flatbread was pretty good, but could use some more sauce. the salad came out with brown lettuce. Might be a good place for some beer maybe? i don't think we will return read more

I do take out from here. It's one of my go-to comfort food places. Mozz sticks and wings, you can't go wrong. Plus, they're open late. I like that the wings are well sauced and that the flavor gets into the meat. A lot of places it just feels like the sauce is surface level, so they do something right with the toss. They give celery and carrots with the take-out orders too which is great. The menu has a ton of sauces for the wings and then the dips. The staff is always nice and friendly which bodes well if you dine-in I guess. If you're in the market for some wings, I highly recommend giving them a shot. read more

Stopped in for Friday lunch. It was good. The prices are reasonable & you get a lot of bang for your buck. The wing flavors are flavorful. Service was good - we were the only ones there for lunch. I wouldn't mind going back for trivia night or watching the game. read more

Super disappointed in our visit here! First, there were two customers when we walked in. The waitress didn't want to repeat herself while a couple of us went to the bathroom. Then, she drops off our drinks and says I'm gonna go take the drink orders at the two tables that walked in after us because I'm the only one working. She knew it was first time visiting. We didn't even get asked if we wanted any appetizers. I found this place on Yelp, we drove 30 minutes from baseball fields to have lunch and left without ordering food. Service matters, the waitress needs some extra training on this. read more

Love the wings so after getting multiple emails touting ordering for the Super Bowl we placed and online order and selected the 5pm pickup option. The place was a disorganized ZOO. Parking was hazardous with delivery drivers blocking spaces as they "just ran in" and ended up waiting. I didn't get my pre-paid order until 6pm, a full hour after promised and when I got home it was missing items. They were accepting new delivery service orders while slammed. Not good management of resources. read more

To start off, the service wasn't great because we had to wait a long time to order. When a server finally came over, he said the bartender was supposed to take our order but couldn't. Anyway, halfway into the meal, the bartender stopped by to see how we were doing because the server had to leave. Lots of confusion! Anyway, the Elderberry Margarita was delicious and potent. The Fried Pickles were addicting. Unfortunately, we asked for the spiciest wings and they didn't deliver. It was sweet and tangy but definitely not spicy enough. read more

So we have been ordering their wings for a while now because they are amazing. But finally all 4 of us went on Friday evening to actually sit and eat and drink there. Inside its a regular sports bar but it has lots of seating areas. The service was incredible. I wish I remembered our waitress name because she was so attentive and sweet and she brought us everything just the way we wanted it. We of course had the wings- we like the parmesan, the smoky bourbon and the lemon pepper. Their taters and fries are so good. Cheap drinks, cool family hangout. Wish I took photos but we were starving. Also their Brussels sprouts are the bomb! Check this place out for sure. I believe they are a local business. They are off preston in front of UNT. Perfect spot! read more

I consider myself a wing fanatic! I try the six piece bone in Bandito wings and they were delicious! With a side of fries and a corona. I highly recommend the Bandito sauce. Brisket nachos Were Very fatty and just weird! No real cheese just gooey white cheese. Compared to other sports bars around not good at all. As far as the wings! That was the whole reason I came here. I'm from the northeast trying to find a good wing spot. This place is not it. ! Sauces were not very tasty. Planks were fried OK but nothing special if they wouldn't compete with the other sports bars around, they definitely need to step the food up. read more

We really enjoyed our dinner at WOF. Our sever, Brooke, answered all our first-timer questions and made good recommendations about the several sauces and seasonings they offer. She also kept my drink filled, which is something that matters to me. Their onion rings were really good. We like the lightly breaded ones and these were some of the best we've had in the area. We had the sweet BBQ wings, and on Brooke's suggestion, I tried the Texas Heat with lemon pepper rub which I liked a lot. It wasn't crowded at all on a Sunday evening. We had good food and good service, so we'll make this part of our regular restaurant rotation. read more

The wings were decent. The service seemed like it was going to be top notch, but not so much! I was greeted with friendliness but that is as far as it went. The girl that went to get my online order as me if I wanted help with the bag. I am disabled and I thought she was going to be kind and take it to my car for me. After I signed my receipt she handed my bag back to me and walked away :(. I struggled to get to the door and to open it, then get to my car. Many other employees were standing there watching me. I gave a 20% tip when I ordered online. When I signed the receipt there was a spot for additional tip, I did not put an additional tip (so glad I didn't). I feel like because I hadn't she was then done with me. They also did not include our carrots and celery. I have mixed feelings about returning to this place. read more

We absolutely love this place! The mango salad is outstanding - fresh ingredients with a dressing that ties it all together perfectly. I usually go with the lemon pepper wings, which are always spot on, while my wife swears by the shrimp tacos. The fried mushroom appetizer is another must-try. It's also the perfect spot to watch your favorite team...great food, great vibes, and a fun atmosphere all around. read more

The bone out wings are comparable to McDonalds. They are processed meat. They came out lukewarm warm. I barely ate 1. Service is not great. We came in with only 3 other tables sat. Great food. Went in for a quick bite and thats what we got. Quick service, delicious food and a good vibe. It wasn't very busy. They have a bar that is well stocked and a selection of beer on tap. We got the garlic parm and Nashville hot wings. Also a side of the thinly sliced onion rings. Wings were crispy and evenly coated which didnt take away from the crispness. They were definitely meaty. 6 each was enough to fill you up for sure. Wasnt a fan of the blue cheese, as i like the chunky kind but the ranch was delicious. The onion rings were amazing. Crispy, thin and nicely seasoned. read more

Absolutely amazing. I got the bone- out wings with tater tots and omg I can't wait to come back!!!

Didn't even know this place existed until I drove by today. I guess the hot air ballon caught my attention. Decided to stop in on way home & had a few adult beverages & took 30 wings home. I've been eating chicken wings for almost 35 years, and I've always said the key to a great chicken wing is a "great chicken wing". These wings appear to be completely thawed (no purple broken bones). They're also NOT chewy. The original Anchor Bar in Buffalo has "never frozen" wings--maybe these have never been frozen?? I saw other posts complaining about size. These are huge. I'm 6ft 220 and used my pinky as reference. (Other posts complained about them being too small) The actual restaurant is much bigger than appears from the outside. Also very tastefully done. I would turn up the music a bit and have more sports variety on the multiple TV's - but maybe they are looking for more of a family vibe. Robots - yes they have robots. Not sure how this will ultimately work out. Kids will like, but they seem to move way too slow if they ever are packed & super busy. Finally. Every "human" we interacted with was very friendly. read more
