Courteous staff and excellent service. My wife and I dine in this restaurant few time every month. We love it.

There was a customer who came in on Mother's Day with her lap dog and the dog was licking the table. No one asked her to leave. Animals should not be allowed in restaurants except for service dogs, which this one clearly was not. Very unsanitary, unappetizing and gross! Please make this a business policy so we can all feel comfortable returning/coming to this otherwise nice restaurant. read more

I love all things France so this one did not disappoint. From their greeting in French, to the food that feels commercially French, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I was expecting more of a selection at their airport location so imagine my surprise when I learned that the standalone stores were en entire experience! It's a bit cold inside every time I have gone and feels less "warm" but I think that also appeals to the actual commercial French vibe overall. I wish they had more in the St. Louis area where I live but I understand -- I gotta get it in Texas! read more

I love La Madeleine! They are one of my favourite places to go for lunch. My favorite thing is to get half of a crook, monsieur, but to get turkey instead of ham. The service is fast and friendly. We chose to sit outside on the patio, which was covered. I will definitely be back. read more

The last 4-5 visits, the food has been lukewarm at best and the service somewhat too relaxed. No one was in a hurry to take orders or follow up on customer requests. The coffee remains the only reliable product IMHO. read more

The vibe is definitely different than the other La Madeleines I've gone to, but I enjoyed the food nonetheless. La Madeleine in prosper Tx, an new modern version for brunch bunch. I had the ham-Swiss crepe with corn chowder and a side Caesar salad. It was French like food, not traditional but a change of pace from standard American style food. Since La Madeleine is new it was standing room only, extremely busy, and during the Christmas holiday season. The new style La Madeleine also had a variety of American style breakfast. Next time I will give that a try. My dining companions had the three salad plate, they enjoyed their meal. Everyone was pleased with their selection. The new store also brought all your food to the table, and you need to ask for the complimentary bread, butter, and preserves. No, more help your self. It was a pleasant lunch. read more

My husband's order was not correct-- he got the wrong salad, and his chicken friand and soup were both COLD. My sandwich (chicken Parisienne) and soup were also COLD. We asked for bread and butter. The bread was hard as a brick and didn't come until the meal was served. Would've been nice to have had it prior to our meal. (In Frisco it's self-serve). The Frisco location is so much better! We've never had a problem there. Prosper-- you've got some work to do! Cashier was very nice though! One other thing--everyone loves a booth and this restaurant only has TWO??!! I called and spoke with the manager who apologized but actually encouraged my negative review to encourage a district manager response. I'm not sure what's going on with one of my old favorites but it's not good. Sad to say La Madeleine is no longer a good dining option. I hate that they've degraded so badly. Slow service. French onion soup had a small sprinkle of cheese on top, not a full piece melted over the soup, like it should be served. Additionally it was served cold. Sandwich was thrown together with zero thought, tiny and almost no cheese (on a grilled cheese). Felt like a cafeteria. Hard pass on this place. Absolutely worst $60 dollar meal me and my family have ever received. From when I first walked in the door the lady at the front could not even smile or say thank you. She had a mad look on her face and I should have known this was not going to be good. First, the waffles were soggy and had left over burnt pieces of food all in the waffle that had to be picked out and scraped off by my wife and then it was soggy. The fruit on top was not washed was in horrible shape and my wife could not even eat the waffle because it was so soggy. The whole ambiance of that location and store is not it. We have been going to La Madeline's for 30 years and have never had such a horrible experience as we did at this location. We will never return to this location in Prosper again. You would expect higher quality and cleaner food preparedness for a $60 dollar breakfast meal. I will also be sending this to corporate headquarters. Do yourself a favor and skip this location for breakfast items. Not sure about anything else but would not take any chances. Management and store owners need to have a better look at this location. read more

Been a la madeleine fan for many years. This location just misses the mark. Their croissants are never fresh - hard bread for a sandwich is not what La madeleine used to stand for. Hair in my food on 2 different occasions -- just NO! Came in one day to learn that someone forgot to set out the sourdough during the early morning shift (or burned it; I can't recall which), so there was no sourdough being served that day. Kids chicken and cheese pasta used to be excellent - not here. My kids won't eat it. Portion sizes have decreased while price has increased. Breakfast - just skip it here. Hard pass. We frequent La Madeline's pretty frequently, and I doubt I'll be back to this one anytime soon. We ordered two chicken Caesar salads, to go, among other things, and the lettuce in the whole container was inedibly wilted. Dark brown- every piece. It had to have been sitting already assembled in a fridge for a number of days. We ended up throwing both away. When I pay $12 for a salad, I'm expecting it to be fresh. Very, very disappointing, and it's a shame that the employees didn't check the salads before it was served. I have never been served a salad this old in a restaurant, ever. read more

What a fantastic evening! Beautiful location with a phenomenal sunset. Food did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and courteous. Chef Justin made all our food. Very different from other locations. Very modern and bright with a very traditional layout of counter ordering. No trays or big display of pastries, quiches, croquettes, etc. Doesn't have much personality. Didn't give off the French vibe. Service was excellent but food was okay. Ordered two sandwiches (bland) and two soups (excellent). Ordered a quiche Loraine and it was thin and dry. read more

This doesn't even deserve a rating, me and my mom came here for lunch and we were waiting probably 10 minutes with people just looking at us not giving us any acknowledgment. My mom then asked for help and the woman gave us such a look of disgust and made it seem as if we were interrupting her. We then just decided to leave because after we had asked she continued to not help us. The lack of respect and acknowledgment should not be allowed in an establishment.
