It didn't seem to phase this exceptional business. I feel like I hit the jackpot when I had Pasadena Garden Care respond to my call for help. Bryce went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience and as a result, we have hired this business to do our monthly maintenance. We hired Bryce and his team to help on many problem areas in our yard - including an area where a beehive lives with a cycle of very territorial bees. Pasadena Garden Care worked with us and wore bee suits to attend to our needs in this special garden. It's not just the bees. We also have a HUGE salcata tortoise that devours everything in its path. We have a fenced in garden where the bees are and Gamera tried to break in and devour my tomato plants, strawberries and most likely knock over a hive for some honey. The workers worked with our little monster to ensure our plants and "child" were safe. I am so happy we decided to go with Bryce and Pasadena Garden Care. I have only had an exceptional experience. He texted me stating " I will have the estimate ready for you tomorrow." If he needed more information from me, why would he text me stating he would email me the estimate? They were overpriced compared to other landscape estimates I received, but we chose their…read morelandscaping services because they offered a year of interest free credit option. We hired them for a full backyard Reno with full wall of ficus trees, full DG backyard with gravel edges, and a wood fence. Everything was going smoothly with scheduling and communication. When the actual work got started, I noticed the DG was not high-quality. It contained a lot of large rocks. Also, they were not digging out enough dirt before laying the DG. I had to bring that up to the foreman and they did dig up some more dirt before laying the DG. When the work was done, a foreman did a quick walk-through with me and I thought everything looked good. We were told not to walk on the wet DG for a day or two. So two days later when I did a better inspection, I started to notice a lot of shotty work. Specifically with the bender board dividing the gravel and I noticed that they used really small nails for the wooden fence. They did come back a month later to fix the DG because there were areas that were "bouncy", as if not enough DG was laid down. They had to dig up big rocks that were preventing the DG from compacting and they laid more DG on some areas. They also tried to fix some bender board problems, but they did a really horrible job. Three months later, some wood planks on our wood fence start curving and popping up. I called the company because our DG and our fence are under a year warranty. Jake asked me to email him with photos and he said he would call back to schedule a day for repair. Since then I have not heard back from them; they have completely ghosted me. I waited a month then I started calling and no one will pick up the phone. I've left messages and I sent text messages to project manager, Amanda, who was great at communication at first, but now has completely ghosted me as well. Meanwhile, we're still paying monthly for this backyard that is falling apart way too quickly. I'm going to just hire someone to fix the fence before it damages further. I would not recommend them again. Completely overpriced for what you get.

Angel and his crew are terrific. Highly recommend. Angel showed up to the house even though I could not meet him and took an assessment of the project. He was able to come out early the next morning and completed the job in half the time others had quoted. He replaced the sprinkler pipes and valves and leveled the backyard. My property needed complete yard care. The young men removed ivy, trimmed a neighbors bush the grows over the fence and takes over my side. They mowed the yard-removed all weeds. They hauled away anything that didn't fit in the trash can. They did an excellent job. The work was outstanding. They communicated if there were any concerns about scope of work. The bushes, hedges, and mainly the 100+ foot trees needed some serious work. They handled it great and took care of the neighbors properties too. I didn't have to walk through it all each day, it just got done and done to what I think is the right way. They put plywood where it's necessary to protect things and are careful when limbs drop. You can't even tell that they were here besides the yard, trees, and the property, looking great. It was a multiple day job, each day they all were nice, worked hard, and got it done efficiently. Everything they cut looks natural and not just trimmed without care like our other guys, it seemed very selective and not willy nilly. They all went above and beyond what we expected. They were not the cheapest option, but Javier seemed knowledgable, trustworthy, and like he could handle the job from the get go and estimate. They weren't that far out from the cheap guys either, definitely more, but I am so glad I chose this company vs just the cheapest. Other crews have "botched" it before and I don't think we will do that anymore. We will absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.
