My facial was done by Monica Jorge, and she really took the time to understand my skin so that she could customize her approach to treating it. I had been using retinoids, so Monica was super gentle when performing the diamond glow facial. She took the time to explain every step of the process as she was treating my skin, and ensured that I was relaxed the entire time. My skin is normally very reactive and I was a little worried that I would experience some redness/dryness or irritation after the facial; however, that was not the case at all! Monica prioritized hydration in my treatment, and my skin looks great now (a few days after my facial). I had no irritation at all and my skin is definitely smoother to the touch and less congested. Monica even recommended a lightweight moisturizer to add to my usual routine and so far, it's been great! I will definitely be back to Skin Spirit in the future!

My daughter surprised me with a session of micro blading to have my eyebrows done. My eyebrows were sparse due to hormone changes and I was very self conscious about them. Very hard to pencil in when you can't see without your glasses and just a pain to do even with a magnifying mirror. I was nervous about the procedure but Fatemeh assured me it would look natural and they do! I'm still getting used to having full beautiful eyebrows again. Dr. Diaconu thoroughly explained all options. Originally I was in for a tummy tuck plus matching new boobs. For many medical reasons involving other surgeries that I had over the years I chose to have another masectomy with no reconstruction. I wasn't sure why I needed a plastic surgeon at his point until I saw my results. Dr. D removed a chunk of fat from my back from the previous masectomy and then fixed up andaligned the stitches to match my new masectomy. It all sounds kind of horrible but I am as impressed as I can be with a scar across my chest, I'm very impressed. I'm also glad not to be lopsided. I had no complications and am mending quickly and easily.
