I was a bit taken aback by the $180 automatic cosmetic consultation fee added to an initial visit but decided that it was worth it as my friend highly recommended the office. From the minute I sat down with Dr. Lily I felt like I was being hustled. Instead of beginning the visit with a discussion of my need for a skin check, she went right into cosmetic recommendations (including recommending a medicated shampoo and conditioner) and seemed irritated when I told her that I wasn't interested in any cosmetic procedures other than continued Botox. The skin check was the least thorough that I have ever had in my life. I was stunned at her lack of thoroughness. I pointed out a spot that I was concerned about that she did biopsy. Another doctor in the practice performed the procedure to remove the spot and she did a great job. Unfortunately when I returned for suture removal, no doctor even looked at the area to check its healing. The nurse did a great job of suture removal but I was stunned that no doctor even took a look at the site. The Potomac office is beautiful and the staff is great but it feels like this practice is more focused on cosmetics and less on medical dermatology. They may be great for cosmetic procedures but my review reflects my experience from a medical perspective.

After trying 3 times-with no answer, I arrived at the salon, walked down the hall to the suite and knocked, no answer, so I called, again-still no answer. I had to stop two other ladies (from other suites) and ask them if they had any clue as to why there's no answer and where "Nikia" was-they were just as baffled as I was. Upon their advice, I found another salon that I was VERY pleased with instead.

**Update** 3/15/23 If I could rate 10 stars I would! I've been going to Moksha and seeing Erika regularly for a little over a year and a half now. My experience has never fell short of excellent so I felt the need to write another review. Erika truly is one of the most skilled and educated injectors I've ever seen. For my personal aesthetic goals, she is always 110% up front with me on her opinion, suggestions, and managing expectations and a timeline for best results. Baby steps and building over time I've found has really been key when it comes to Filler for me. They take before photos at the beginning of the appointment, which has been incredibly helpful as a point of reference to see the changes and improvements from visit to visit. From each appt to post-appt, I've always received prompt communication and answers to any questions I've had. My last recent visit I also saw Melissa for my lips and she did such an amazing job! She made me feel super comfortable, as I was very nervous at first. The outcome is just what I was looking for, more volume and more hydrated but nowhere near overdone. The ladies at the front are always so pleasant and accommodating. The entire Moksha team really is top notch and I definitely recommend them if you are considering aesthetic services. I have been consistently seeing Erika (@injectorbunny) for 3+ years now and I always put my trust in her hands when it comes to recommendations about what I need each appointment. I have taken the "slow and steady" approach over the past few years -- and with that being said, at my most recent appointment, Erika recommended Sculptra to me, which I had not done before. At first, I was hesitant because it was not within my usual rotation of botox and filler but Erika explained the benefits of Sculptra and shared that it was a good treatment to add into my routine (in between an 8-point lift and my usual filler injections). Just a few days after this first time of getting Sculptra, I already knew that Erika had given me the best advice and I was obsessed with Sculptra. The effects are subtle but also evident at the same time because you (and others) can tell that there is just "something" that looks better but cannot pin point anything dramatic. And I absolutely love that! I am eager to now incorporate another round of Sculptra (if Erika agrees) into my slow and steady approach, as I continue to regularly see her and the Moksha team. I went here after being recommended by a friend who is friends with the office manager a couple weeks ago. So, I will start off with the positives- it is a gorgeous space, unbelievably stunning and well taken care of, but that does not distract from the unprofessionalism that goes on in the office. I walked in and was greeted by a front desk staff who did not seem to even be there- I feel like appearance when you walk in is of utmost importance. Maybe she was having a rough day? The lady who took me back did not know the answer when I asked the difference between two types of filler- don't you work there and relay messages to the injectors?! Red flag. As I sat there waiting, I heard two staff members loudly GOSSIPING about their clients and a co-worker to the point I heard NAMES. I was deeply unsettled. I went with the other injector that wasn't Erika since she books up and she seemed bored to answer my questions, not enthusiastic, and I left feeling like I did not see a difference. I went to an injector in Arlington and it was a total 180. Don't let the beauty of the office distract from poor business practices! This place is so gorgeous AND fabulous!!!! Super covid safe, sanitizer galore side note- (in super cute dispensers)! I had an initial appointment with Erika who was wonderful- a few things I really loved were that any question i had was answered with such Logic and reasoning that made sense. In addition... she told me NO! LOL honestly it shows how important being ethical is to her / her practice and the importance of being patient to achieve the end result i desire. I had my follow up with Kelly, who is equally as wonderful, she is super sweet and truly put the icing on the cake to a great appt 2 weeks prior! I also had a brief convo w Hania and the fact i was not her client yet still took the time to ask how my experience was / my feedback and if there was anything that could be done to make my experience any better (which there is not!) really shows the extra steps they're willing to take for total Client satisfaction. Moksha is amazing and Erika is the best. I've been seeing Erika for a long time, and what she has built up in Moksha is nothing short of perfection. The team and staff are amazing - extremely knowledgable and welcoming. The location is great. And the facilities are gorgeous. I drive 1.5hr each way for all of the reasons I've mentioned. Erika is a rockstar. I saw Jessica for a facial for the first time recently and had such a great experience! I love Moksha! I felt welcome the first time I walked into the beautiful office. Everyone is so friendly and personable, a judge free zone! I have been seeing Christina for a few months now, first for dysport and then for lip filler. She is amazing and every appointment feels like I'm visiting a friend! She is very thorough in explaining my options and up front about what she suggests. I'm getting my groove back after having my third child and I can definitely say that Moksha and Christina have played a huge part in that! Oh, and their B12 injections also help save this tired mama! I had such an awesome experience at Moksha! The staff was very welcoming, and the waiting area is gorgeous. I got filler and a bit of botox from Erika, and she was so so kind, truly the best. She made me feel at ease the entire time, and really took the time to listen to my goals and asses my facial structure to decide what will work best for me. She's an absolute expert, and always told me what she's using on me and why. She is such a kind human being and beyond beautiful inside and out! I have been following Hania and Erika for a while on Instagram and loved there work. I have never had any injectables before and was very nervous. I have been to a few other medical spas for a consultation but never felt at ease. My appointment at Moksha was with Hania for botox and filler. From the second I walked in I was impressed. Let me tell you, she definitely lives up to the hype! My results with temporary fillers have been absolutely phenomenal. Shohreh has an impressive background, having honed her expertise while working with some of the best cosmetic surgeons in the area early in her career. Her knowledge and experience give me complete confidence in her recommendations, which are always top-notch and non-surgical. At 58, I never imagined I could feel this youthful again--I truly wish I had started this journey sooner! When it comes to prices, I did my homework and found her rates to be competitive; I typically spend between $900 to $2,500 a year, and the results I'm getting last me around 8 months-16 months. My cheek lift is still looking fabulous, and I trust her to choose the best products for me. For years, I struggled with thin lips and tired eyes, i was visit Shohreh regularly for touch-ups, but the last time just did as much as needed while still looking natural. I absolutely love the eye lift! She strategically injects around my eyes above the brow and on the sides to improve my hooded eyelids--something no amount of makeup could fix. So after reading the reviews for Ritual and following them on social for a few months, I decided to book at appointment for a peel with Victoria. The business suite is located within a much bigger building and upon getting off the elevator on the 8th floor, it was clear to me that many of the surrounding suites include other medical professionals. Upon entry, you'll notice the clinic is pristine and elegant, while also feeling warm and welcoming. Cayla, the patient coordinator at the check-in desk was bubbly and genuine - as a first time visitor, that initial impression means a lot. No pretense, no standoffishness - just a desire to help you to get settled in. I was then taken to the waiting area which was also clean and comfortable, with a few refreshments that are available for guests. Luckily for me, I was only in there for a few minutes before Victoria came to get me. We took a few pics and then headed into the room for my appointment. The room felt very much like a room you may be in for a doctor's appointment - very sterile, bright lights - which of course is a good sign. I then chatted with Victoria about my concerns and needs. She was a great listener as well as a proactive communicator, always educating me as she made suggestions or talked with me about options. It's evident that her top concern is the patient's health and well-being first and foremost, which then guides her recommendations. With the additional knowledge and context she provides, it's impossible not to feel well taken care of, in the hands of a responsible and professional provider. I was also very appreciative of her care and awareness of what treatments would be best for my type of skin, educating me about the Fitzpatrick scale (which I had taken time to educate myself briefly about on my own, but had never had a provider articulate with such mindfulness.) She also was able to balance that professionalism with warmth - which is a rare combination to find. Her ability to make you feel comfortable seems to come naturally and really makes the whole experience not only impactful but enjoyable. It's also evident that she carries a wealth of knowledge and is confident about that (without being condescending.) Overall, very impressed with the business and grateful for Victoria's care. Will definitely be returning in the near future to explore other treatments that will be good investments in my overall skin health and integrity.

From the stress and also from me not taking good care of myself and following the skin routine Irina always reminds me to do. This was right before my wedding too so having all my acne come back added to the stress. I also developed a lot of back acne and my wedding dress was strapless. I texted Irina about my back before I had my scheduled appointment and Irina was able to move my appointment earlier so then she could spend more time on me and fix my back. Irina helped me do a lot of extractions and also told me how to best care in the next week leading up to the wedding. By the time the wedding came, my acne was cleared with minor areas where it was a lot easier to manage. I can't thank her enough! I now know I must keep with the schedule and visit Irina every 4-6 weeks, not only does she help me clear up my skin but also as a constant reminder to take care of myself. She never pushes products on me but I've fully bought in and listen to whatever she tells me I need as I have my full trust in her. Backlit with a calming purple hue, plus acoustic music playing in the background Service: Taylor was my esthetician and she was really warm and welcoming. After filling out some forms, we jumped right in, talking through what was happening during each step since I was pretty unfamiliar with it all I left with my skin feeling the softest it has in years and very glowy and dewy - exactly what I was hoping for. It's only been a few days, so I'm curious to see how long the results last, combined with my new knowledge of what my skin needs (she emphasized hydration and exfoliation). Looking forward to returning for maintenance. Small suggestions for improvement: I wish there was a way to fill out the intake form online. I did it when I first arrived and we didn't deeply discuss the form or my skin concerns before diving in. It would also be helpful to give patients a resource for when they leave. For a noob like me, there was a lot of terminology and products and suggestions, so it was a little hard to wrap my mind around.
