I've been going to Irina since 2020 for my acne and she has helped me so much! I've been going consistently every 4-6 weeks except when there was a very stressful time in my life (with work) where I was so busy and had a two or three month gap from visiting Irina and my skin became soo bad! From the stress and also from me not taking good care of myself and following the skin routine Irina always reminds me to do. This was right before my wedding too so having all my acne come back added to the stress. I also developed a lot of back acne and my wedding dress was strapless. I texted Irina about my back before I had my scheduled appointment and Irina was able to move my appointment earlier so then she could spend more time on me and fix my back. Irina helped me do a lot of extractions and also told me how to best care in the next week leading up to the wedding. By the time the wedding came, my acne was cleared with minor areas where it was a lot easier to manage. I can't thank her enough! I now know I must keep with the schedule and visit Irina every 4-6 weeks, not only does she help me clear up my skin but also as a constant reminder to take care of myself. She never pushes products on me but I've fully bought in and listen to whatever she tells me I need as I have my full trust in her. I will forever be a client :) Pictures: 1) when I first went to Irina & after only 2 treatments with her and listening to her advice on my routine and diet 2) my back acne photo I texted Irina when I was freaking out what to do 3) wedding day - you can see the back is cleared! read more

Ella Skin has been in my bookmarks forever, but never got the chance to visit, prioritizing work and other things before personal self care - and my skin suffered because of it. Not only was it dry due to the weather changes, but it looked dull and what I can only describe as "gray." Basically, not cute. The website laid out what services were offered and how each helped the skin, even combining some of them into the Ella Ultimate Treatment package, which is what I opted for since it was my first facial and what not. Went full on out. Location and ambiance: located by the new One Life Fitness on the second floor of Sola Salon Studios, where there are a ton of different businesses under one roof. I saw hair, makeup, etc. The room was the perfect size, very clean and organized. Backlit with a calming purple hue, plus acoustic music playing in the background Service: Taylor was my esthetician and she was really warm and welcoming. After filling out some forms, we jumped right in, talking through what was happening during each step since I was pretty unfamiliar with it all I left with my skin feeling the softest it has in years and very glowy and dewy - exactly what I was hoping for. It's only been a few days, so I'm curious to see how long the results last, combined with my new knowledge of what my skin needs (she emphasized hydration and exfoliation). Looking forward to returning for maintenance. Small suggestions for improvement: I wish there was a way to fill out the intake form online. I did it when I first arrived and we didn't deeply discuss the form or my skin concerns before diving in. It would also be helpful to give patients a resource for when they leave. For a noob like me, there was a lot of terminology and products and suggestions, so it was a little hard to wrap my mind around. read more

Great spa. Had a wonderful facial and trying to book again. Thank you for the experience.

This is a hidden gem! I don't often treat myself to facials but after reading the reviews and reading more about the different skin treatments that Ella Skin offers, I definitely had to check this place out. This is located in a house (much like the in-home dental offices in the suburbs) which I love. Ireena is a fantastic host and professional! She offered me water or tea, and I felt right at home. The treatment I got was the microdermabrasion. Ireena first did a quick, free skin consultation since I've never had this treatment before and didn't know what to expect. I felt at ease and relaxed the whole time, since ireena warns you of any noises from the machines she's using. The treatment is a deep exfoliation and you get an infusion of moisturizer afterwards. My face looked and felt great after the entire process. You will feel some tingling sensation but that is normal. I booked a follow up appointment right away. read more

5/5 would recommend this place for a facial! I came here with a Living Social purchase for a European Deep Cleansing Facial and would say this is one of the top facials I've had. My facial was relaxing and comfortable, and even the extractions weren't that painful. My face feels completely refreshed, rejuvenated and cleansed from the summer damage. Very satisfied! read more

My mom and I came here to get facials and we got the European Deep Cleansing one. For the price, the treatment was excellent. I really enjoyed the rubber mask the most but the other treatments were great too. I loved the calm classical music choices in the background and Irina was very knowledgeable and informative about what she was doing and explaining my skin type and problems to me. It was more than just a relaxing treatment, I also learned a lot more about my skin and how to better take care of it. Like others have said she didn't pressure you to buy her products at all, but was friendly and answered any questions we had and just gave her opinion. Her house is adorable and the spa room is very clean, homey and aesthetically pleasing. It was also very easy to GPS the way there. If you're looking for a bit more affordable facials that also gets the job done, this is the place for you! read more

Great experience. Highly recommend. Enter through Sola Salon then go to second floor.

I've always had really clear, low-maintenance skin so when I started having *horrible* breakouts I had no idea what to do. I tried every product, face mask and trick in the book and my skin only got worse. Before my first appointment at Ella Skin, I was in tears because things had gotten so bad. Irina SAVED MY SKIN. We talked through every single product I was using, my diet, lifestyle and came up with a plan that has given me unbelievable results. The studio is so clean and relaxing, but more importantly they know what they're doing. Some days I'll book a facial and Irina will feel like a chemical peel is a better fit or vice versa. I trust her 100% and no one else will ever touch my skin! read more

I have to start out by saying I have had a LOT of facials. I have paid exorbitant amounts of money for them in the past with zero results. I felt so cheated and almost gave up on them all together. A few months ago my skin was looking so dull and weathered and I really needed a skin makeover. I saw that Ella Skin was near my house and the reviews were impeccable. It is very easy to make an appointment on their website, however try to book a while in advance (especially for weekends) because the slots fill up! The studio is residential however there is ample parking and is in a very nice neighborhood. The studio itself is more professional and advanced than ones I've seen at high-end salons and spas. Irina is the esthetician and she is phenomenal. She is incredibly knowledgeable of her craft and well educates all her clients on the do's and don't according to your skincare needs. I have received the Royal Rose Casmara and just recently (for my birthday) the 24K gold facial with microdermabraison. I literally don't need to wear makeup after because my skin looks so fresh and radiant! I have also purchased a few top-of-the-line skincare products she sells at a lower cost than other retailers. Be sure to check out the website because she frequently has great specials. read more

Irina is fantastic - cannot recommend highly enough, will go to her as long as I possibly can!

Irina is an amazing person , great cosmetolog and esthetician. I am so impressed with her professionalism and care . I am a regular client for Ella Skin and I will only trust Irina with my skin. I am 44 years woman , busy with my family and kids , but I look as 26 :) it's true! And it's all because of her treatments and products and because I follow her advice and suggestions . I use all PCA products ! yes they are not cheap , but not very expensive too in compare with others . PCA is a professional line and lasts for a long time and gives u great results ! I will recommend: Casmara signature facial - if you have an event and you want to shine and look amazing ! The 24K Gold Anti -Aging Facial I will recommend as a monthly treatment, it helps with the wrinkles and dark sports around your eyes a lot . Get your appointment today with Ella Skin and u will not be disappointed! read more

I've been going to Irina from Ella Skin for about two years now and I can't say enough good things about it. Every time I get a facial, I leave with glass like perfect skin and the experience is so soothing and luxurious. Irina is extremely professional and sweet, I love chatting with her. Throughout the whole entire facial process, she explains each step and talks to me about my skincare routine and what I should change to help maintain better skin. Also, the extraction process never hurts for me when I come to Irina (and it has at other places I've been to before). I love how clean the space is and the magic that Irina does to my skin. My skin has never looked better. Highly highly recommend and I will always continue coming here. read more

My skin feels amazing. I heard about Irina and Ella Skin through a friend and I couldn't be more satisfied. I went to Irina for a skin consultation and then scheduled a facial to put some more love and care into my skin. She's super knowledgeable and good at what she does. I received a hydration facial and it took about ~1.5 hour. Irina thought of everything... from the atmosphere, comfortability, and the whole experience. The products she used on my skin felt great and has made my skin super soft. Definitely sticking with Irina's care! read more

I've been seeing Irina for Hydrafacials for general skin maintenance and to combat the dreaded maskne. My skin looks amazing after she works her magic! Irina really takes the time to analyze your skin and chatted with me about the products I am using for my skin as she works. She also did extractions and a spot treatment on my chin that drastically reduced the healing time of a lovely zit I had. The space is extremely clean and modern. I also appreciate the ability to book appointments online, along with the text reminders beforehand. If your skin needs a pick me up or a thorough cleansing, I highly recommend Ella Skincare read more

Really amazing experience. I've had facials in the past, but this was by far one of the best. It was extremely relaxing and truly an amazing experience. I came for my birthday and even the next day I was still raving about how amazing it was. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality facial. I will be contacting Taylor next month to schedule my next one. read more

Update: I see the owner has responded and I wanted to clarify. Yes, this was a free consultation. Yes, she provided her opinion. But this doesn't change that she was rude, condescending, and made me feel as though the way to feel pretty in your skin was to be rich. I would not recommend going to her because of her demeanor and inability to work with clients. I'm sorry my review "broke your heart" but I left the consultation crying based on how I was treated and made to feel about myself. I have since been to a dermatologist and they confirmed that things she said were incorrect, so I stand by that. read more

Loved the experience here and it really is a hidden gem! This was my first facial EVER in my life and all I got to say, it's a pleasant surprised. Irina explains everything to you before hand and she is very welcoming and attentive. My face feels so soft like a baby's bottom haha Definitely coming back and doing other facials with her! read more

My skin has never been great so I've had facials in the past, but never like I have at Ella Skin! Ireen was amazing and cared SO much about my skin and what was causing it to be irritated. She took the time to ask about every single product I used and looked at the ingredients to see what might be causing my issues. The facial felt so refreshing and I could tell my skin was HAPPY and relieved as I was receiving it. At other places the esthetician just seemed to do the treatment but not get to any root of the problems I was experiencing. I trust Ireen's input and recommendations because you can tell she really cares about your skin looking amazing long-term and not just after your facial. I will definitely be back and am so thankful to have found Ella Skin! read more

I had an appointment with Ireen a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked. I booked an anti-acne facial, but after washing my face she suggested I get a chemical peel instead, which was the best decision ever. The peel itself only lasted about 15/20 minutes, but she took the time to do research on every product I use at home and explained how they were clogging my pores. I stopped using everything and re-created my routine with the products she suggested and wow! My skin is baby soft again and I haven't had a single new cyst - just the occasional whitehead which clears up in a day or less. I still stand by my past review of Taylor, but Ireen is next level. She books up fast, but it's worth the wait. And just trust her! She knows what she's doing read more

I had a wonderful experience with Irina at Ella Skin and will definitely return! I had a Casmara Signature Facial, which I recommend highly. Irina is very knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to ask questions and discuss any concerns prior to the facial. I have to echo the comment of a previous poster that while she offered information regarding products, Irina never pushed the sale of anything, which was very refreshing. In addition, Irina has created a very relaxing and comforting environment in which one can experience an amazing facial. I definitely recommend Ella Skin! read more

I really enjoyed my facial here. The owner was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain exactly what my skin needed but was not pushing products or add-on services at all. My skin was glowing when I left and I had a plan to address some of my concerns. By following her advice, I immediately noticed my skin was so much better. The office is clean and professional. I will definitely be going back, in fact, I've already booked my next appointment and can't wait. read more

Taylor did an amazing job! I am now a frequent client because I love how amazing Taylor is. I trust her opinion on what do to with my skin. It was so relaxing and has been helping my acne a lot. Initially, I messaged Irina via Yelp to schedule an appointment and she was very prompt with a response. I soon realized how booked she was, so I found it was much easier to book an appointment on the website. I got the anti-acne deep cleansing facial and it was phenomenal!! Irina was obviously very knowledgeable about skincare, and explained everything step-by-step. The environment of Ella Skin is super relaxing and calming. Best of all, the price you pay for the quality of treatment you get is unbeatable. I will most definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place! read more

I just had a facial done by Irene and it was my best experience yet. She is amazing! If I could give it 100 stars-I would. 5 doesn't do it justice. Time flew by and I felt relaxed, rejuvenated and 5 years younger. Definitely will be coming back! read more

Clean, professional and great results. I'm usually a skeptic when it comes to facials but I'm now completely sold. Irina explains everything before she begins the procedure and thoughtfully examines and recommends what is right for each individual. The tools she uses are innovative and not harsh. Her method is pleasant and effective. read more

What an amazing find. So impressed with the quality of service and the results. Located in one of the Sola Salons, it's not a full service spa but rather a room just for facials. Which is perfect and exactly what's needed and with their pricing you can even start going to get facials on regular basis rather than a one off special occasion treat read more

I went to Ella Skin for a facial and Ireen did a very informative skin analysis and told me that I needed to do a Microdermabrasion. She was extremely kind and friendly throughout the procedure. This spa treatment is an addictive experience! I agree with others about Irina. . I came in for the first time for a facial (micro- abrasion seaweed mask and infusion), and will return on a regular basis. The atmosphere is blissful and Irina is so skilled, gentle, and attentive. I have aging skin with sun damage and I noticed a difference the moment I left. I felt like I had taken a mini vacation! read more

I'm a loyal client at Ella Skin. I had an absolutely great experience every time I come to Ella Skin. I tried multiple skin care places before, both in MD and DC. And, was always disappointed. Until I found Ella Skin. It is a great place for skin care and make up. There is a wide range of highest quality services at affordable prices. The services will suit women from all age groups with different skin care needs. The results of these far front skin care treatments transformed my face, improved skin town and shaded quite a few years off my face. I'll continue to remain a client at Ella Skin and, I already recommended it to all my friends! read more

Ella is truly incredible. The knowledge she has about skin-care, and the services she provides makes her facial so wonderful. Furthermore, she did not try to push me to buy a single product. She simply gave me information that I asked for, and recommended a few ingredients I should look for that will help my skin. The only reason she doesn't have a lot of recommendations is because her business is just beginning, but she has many years of work and training with skin care. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more
