They provide a variety of services and treatments here and find they are very competitively priced for the area. I came here for a session of BBL and was amazed at the results after just one treatment. I've also done the infrared sauna and had a facial by Svetlana, who really knows her stuff. They are a European spa so have a lot of holistic practices and get much of their product imported. Fantastic skincare practices and highly experienced aesthetician. The office manager, Tatiana, is also great if not a bit pushy about membership. I do realize that is where a lot of their revenue stream comes from but they can't be that pushy every single time a client comes in for a service. That's ultimately why I started going elsewhere for my BBL is due to the pressure-heavy sales pitch to become a member. I suppose if you don't mind that every visit, Biolux is one of the best MedSpas in town.

All the aestheticians who work here, as well as the office manager, are highly professional and friendly. Svetlana, the owner, is not only doing a great job as a professional, but also managed to build such a wonderful team of professionals. The range of services provided here is amazing: from bunch of custom facials to laser treatments, micro needling, skin pen - you name it. My favorite addition to all facial treatments is an LED lamp which costs very reasonable price with my mambarship! What I especially love about this place is that aestheticians at BioLux always listen to my needs and wishes (that sometimes are not at all clear to myself) with great attention and respect and offer the options that work best for me. This is the quality that demonstrates heir high level of service and professionalism. Good job BioLux !

She is very professional, listens to the concerns of the patient, and has a great sense of humor. Her new open and "sunny" office spaces in McLean, VA are located on the first floor - so easy access and plenty of free parking is available. The patient management part of the practice is top notch and high tech - one can fill out almost all of the forms online through their excellent website https://www.districtderm.com/. Any extra forms are completed in the office by use of ipads. Dr Walia and her staff are great to work with - all very professional, courteous and efficient. Highly recommend this practice for all of your dermatological needs.

I'm grateful that a doctor here biopsied it and was able to diagnose it. However, we have to drive two hours away to Baltimore. The Baltimore doctor treated the Bullous Pemphigoid but he would not acknowledge the side effects of the medication. Therefore, we are looking for a dermatologist closer. We cannot continue the four-hour round-trip to be medically ignored. I have written to District Dermatology, and I have phoned them. I have begged for help for my loved one. They will not even give me a referral to another doctor so my loved one can be seen sooner. I cannot figure out why the original dermatologist here, who diagnosed my loved one's bullous pemphigoi, cannot see them. This doctor even told me that she has seen patients with Bullous pemphigoid but my loved one was her first experience with this disease. She told me she treats them with Dupixent. All patients with Bullous pemphigoid have other health concerns. The aging immune system is the main cause of BP. There are also studies about the Covid vaccine causing BP. Personally, I think this practice should have been more involved in getting medical care for my loved one. My son found the derm at Hopkins in Baltimore. If you claim you cannot treat a patient because you think they have "co-morbidities" (even though they are highly functioning and working full-time) my opinion is that you should give referrals and contact them for us. That is only my opinion. That is why I am giving 3 stars to this practice.

I am writing to update my previous review of Dr. Santiago of Glow Plastuc Surgery. When I had…read moresurgery in July of this year I was Extreme happy with my results because I could only see my front and my waistline. But that is no longer the case 5 months later. My previous review, that staff push you to write immediately post surgery with the promise of free lymphatic massage and/or free faja... so of course you write it. But what happens after the initial 3 days post op? A lot of debauchery. You don't hear about the stories of opening 3 times post op. And not receiving medical help while your surgeon goes out of the country. You don't hear about being open and having staff continue to wrap you in a soiled binder which is causing you to open further. You aren't made aware of being stitched repeatedly but not seeing any result. Or receiving conflicting medical care from the surgeon, his staff and then the lymphatic massage therapist that leaves you in a puddle of tears of confusion after paying $13,050 of your hard earned money. No you don't. So, I'm going to show you and tell you. I'm being harassed for an additional $600 from the surgery center stating Dr. Santiago went over during my surgery. I was sent a text message 2 days post op from the Anesthesiologist for an additional $200 for the same reason. My boyfriend was told he needed to pay $300 before I was even wheeled out of Recovery. Oh, and when he returned to retrieve me they told him to prop a side door open and go grab something to eat because they still weren't finished. And when he returned upstairs to the surgery floor he walked down the hall to find an open surgical door where I laid on the table being operated on. I had to seek outside care to have my wounds finally close costing me an additional $800. I've seen no positive change in my back from before the surgery until now, 5 months post op. And according to Dr. Santiago I look good in the front. And he never promised me a flat back. According to him, I have skin and not fat. So, unless he rwmoved skin, there's nothing he can do. But I know that during my consult with Teresa, his point of contact, simply having lipo wouldnt take care of my back. Lipo 360 with tummy tuck and abdominoplasty would. You take a look at the attached pics and tell me what you see? That's right. The same extra back i went in there with. And oh yeah.... i requested my complete medical record. And it looks doctored, is missing pages, and he didnt document all of my medical visita for my openings. Don't do it. RUN! Because it's not fair to lead people on. I went telling them that I wanted to have only 1 back. Meaning have my back rolls removed. And they are still there. I guess I'm just supposed to never wear a backless dress ever according to Santago. Because as he's stated... you look good from the front.

I was waiting to go up go to my follow up before writing this review…read more I have been looking at getting a "liquid" facelift for awhile. Although I am only 29 years old, my face has lost most of its fat and has had a gaunt look. I have been a Marine Officer for 5 years and some of the work-related stress has taken a toll on my body... especially my face. When I deployed two years ago to Djibouti, I lost about 15 lbs. I was able to gradually gain the weight back, but the weight never came back to my face...despite exercise and natural supplements. (I'm 5'8", 130 lbs for reference. 15 lbs may not seem like a lot, but it was a lot for my smaller frame). After some heavy research, I started thinking about trying fillers to fill out my face. I did a lot of research, and I liked what I read about Dr. Roberts....she seemed like a true perfectionist that gave natural results. Plus, it was a bonus that she was an Ophthalmologist....being an expert around the vessels of the eye is really important and a real benefit. (To whoever called her an eye doctor: An Ophtalmologist is much different than an Optometrist....she is not an "eye doctor." She is an MD doctor with a specialty in the eye area.) I booked the appointment online. I liked the online appointment system and really appreciated the Saturday hours. With work, I am unable to take off work for "cosmetic" procedures during the week. I thought the office space was also nice. Since I have only been to the Mcclean office, I can only speak of that location....and the office is very clean and professional looking. She can get a little backed up with time so anticipate a little bit of a wait if the previous patient goes a little over the appointment time. When I came in, she gave me a very thorough assessment. She gave me honest feedback on what she thought I needed and even pointed out areas I wasn't thinking about (temple, under chin) that I didn't think about in regards to face fullness. I was quoted for $2000 which seems like a hefty price, but was actually a really great deal. She was running a temporary holiday special so I was able to get a syringe of Restylane for my under eyes, two syringes of Radiesse, and Botox for my forehead and crows feet. (Sorry I forgot how many units.) Her prices are very generous...I have done my homework and was expecting up to $1800 for two 1.5 mL syringes of Radiesse alone. She took her time with the procedure, and I didn't feel rushed at all. (Sorry to whoever was after me...I left a few minutes late.) In my own opinion, the pain was minimal. I did get a little bruising under the eyes, but it went away after a few days. I showed up for my follow-up today. She was running a few minutes behind, but I didn't really notice it since I was chatting up the receptionist (she's very nice). I was slightly concerned that one of my under-eyes was slighted less filled as the other so she used my leftover Restylane as a touch up. There is no fee for the follow up appointment and no fee to touch up since she used my leftover Restylane so I didn't have to pay anything for my followup. (I did ended up buying a Jane Iredale concealer pallet for $25 after I saw their makeup samples.) Please do your homework on fillers and Botox. I had done a month or two of reading before I went in so I was not "sticker-shocked" on the price. Fillers and Botox are not going to give you an overnight miracle that drastically alters your face. It takes large quantities of fillers to sculpt and make changes so don't expect to get a major change at a bargain price. I used sites like RealSelf to get an idea on what I was looking for and what prices to expect. Most people on RealSelf weren't happy with their fillers because they didn't get enough filler (using a bargain coupon or to trying be cheap). I feel that Dr. Roberts gave me an honest assessment because she wants to provide a service that I will be satisfied with in the long term. Do your homework on what you are looking for, and you will be extremely happy with Dr.Roberts. Overall, I am very pleased with my appointments, and I will continue to visit Dr. Roberts for my fillers and Botox. I received a subtle, naturally looking result that I loved. My husband loved the results too and said that I "looked like me" (as in my old self). I wasn't originally considering Botox, but I will now be a repeat customer! Even at 29, I am amazed how much Botox helped. I was expecting the results with the fillers, but the Botox was the true surprise. McLean is a little far away from downtown DC, but her prices and skill make the procedure worth the trip. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Roberts at Liquid Facelift Center (McLean). FYI, I will probably be doing a review in the near future on RealSelf with photos.
