I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. I loved the burrata! Super creamy and well complemented by the umami flavor of the mushrooms. Mains: Pizza Arrabbiata and Roasted Peppers Pizzas - Both were delicious! If you liked spicy, you'll love the arrabbiata. The cream and cherry pepper vinaigrette on the red pepper pizza was so perfectly savory with a hint of acidity. Fortunately, I got booked on a flight out the next morning and found a hotel in the city. I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. The menu includes neopolitan pizzas (12" feeding 1-2 people) and metro pizzas (28" feeding 3-4 people). They make pizzas, calzones, antipasti, and salads. I chose a Neapolitan-style pepperoni pizza consisting of pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh oregano. It was quite filling and absolutely delicious! They also sell pizza kits so that you can make your own pizza at home. Pizzeria Vetri was created to celebrate the art of authentic pizza making. I ordered a cheese steak with whole wheat bread. They had no whole wheat. Ok. When it came an hour later it had no cheese on it! When I called the women initially was going to send a new one over. But after talking to "her workers" that insisted they put cheese on it she wanted me to produce the first cheesesteak and give it back. How absurd. I had already added my own cheese to it to try and salvage my dinner as I was starving so she reacted like I was lying and trying to get a freakin free cheese steak. not the best considering they didn't have the bread, it came past the grub hub window time, and it's a CHEESE steak.......it should have cheese!! read more
