I love getting the slice of pizza with the greek salad. Their salads are boss here. So fresh, huge, and with tons of different crisp veggies and onions, olives, sardines if you want, feta cheese...I I love their fresh bread that comes with everything, and the pizza sauce. I eat here too often-- wish the food was less tempting. read more

New Venice Pizza - Menu - Pizza Near Me - Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

I was asked to leave a review. My first time trying this place. I got a chicken cheesesteak with provolone, mayo, and fried onions. It was okay, not the best. Something I definitely could of made at home. Didn't really leave a memorable taste. The grilled salmon ceaser salad had too much grated Pramesean Cheese and I couldn't really enjoy it. The Salmon tasted good though. The guy at the counter is nice too. Wish I could say I'll be coming back. Maybe I'll try their pizza one day. read more

Food was fine. Pizza was average. Cheesesteak was average. Wouldn't make this one of my favorite spots but delivery was really fast on game day so thats a plus! read more

Interesting....apparently there is a thing called "Ghost Kitchens". They run several "pizza" places out of this location- one being the Bull's Kitchen"-Delivery Only. I guess this is a way to scam over on taxes or something- they have different menus but all the same kitchen. I thought the "Bull's Kitchen" was good at first but it's delivery only- I tried to order from inside New Venice but was told I could meet them at the corner for the pizza. Anyway, I thought the food at the Bulls was cheap- then when I ordered they charge you a $2.00 convenience charge and delivery charge for $2.00, so now you just added $4 bucks to your total. Anyway I'd like to see how the pie from Venice is any different than the pie from "Bulls' Kitchen". read more

I ordered from this place because of a few recommendations from locals and friends. Well let me save you a bunch of time and money. Don't bother -- this is a hole-in-the-wall and will continue to be until they go out of business. Now maybe New Venice does something different in E.P. from the rest of the world; but their take on margherita pizza is way, way off. I have ordered from here twice and there always seems to be some confusion as to getting the order correct. (After the first screw up - I spoke with the manager and was told I would receive a credit for a large pie because they admittedly screwed up). Plus, I was hungry so I agreed to pay and take what they had made (white margherita and not the red which I had ordered). So fast forward a few weeks -- my wife and I thought ok let's try again to order the red margherita again and use the credit. Maybe they will get it correct this time. I call in the order and the same shenanigans ensues once more. (For the record -- the people answering the phone could lose the blasé attitude -- you get what you pay for though it seems). I go back and forth to make sure the order was taken correctly. I explain what happened last time and that I have a credit for a large pie. I hang up. One minute later I get a call back from the owner lecturing me on how to order a margherita correctly (guy -- this isn't my first rodeo thanks chief). I go to pick up the pizza and get charged the full amount (no credit was issued) and the pie was lukewarm at best. Fun sidebar: everyone in the kitchen wearing covid masks and correctly -- not here folks. The bottom line is this place does not care whether or not they earn your business. There are enough locals who will keep supporting them because they don't know any better. If you want great pizza go up to The Pizza Box in Glenside or Glenside Pizza in Keswick Village. The food is much better and they at least humor me by pretending to care about patronizing their establishments. read more

Great place, good people. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend eat here. Love this place! Sons eyes lit up second he took a bite. Food is definitely top notch. Thanks New Venice! read more

I had read really great reviews so I tried this place for delivery. I only ordered one large pizza, so my experience is limited. The pizza arrived on time. The margarita pizza was not a true margarita, but rather a bland white with tasteless tomatoes. The crust was nice enough, but too soft for my liking. Not sure if I'll try it again. read more

Poorly made, service was horrible I called to wake them about the quality of the food, the man address me as a a bud n sue I let him know that I was a woman! Yes I am a lesbian and no I am not a man nor will I ever be. I corrected him and he said sorry ma'am than as I kept asking questions he got mad and kept calling me a sir he did it 5 more times I said I let you know that I wasn't a man so why do you kp calling me one? He got upset and said well you have to call door dash and hung up! I am in tears, mentally this is traumatizing and I am disgusted and hurt! How do you not care about your customers and how you treat them! I didn't disrespect him at all I didn't raise my voice. Lord have mercy the blatant disrespect and complete disregard for my feelings! I don't under we're in 2023 already I already get discriminated against because I'm black and me being apart of the lgbtq makes it worse. It's sad that he didn't care at all. The fact that I corrected him and still decided to go on even after he said sorry says a lot about him and his character. Service sucks! I've never stepped foot in that place and this was my first time ordering myself and this was definitely my last time. I don't know what the place looks like in the inside it could look nice idk but that's neither here nor there read more

Wow what happened to the previous owners? Not only did the price go up but the food had hair and it was completely disgusting. I went in for takeout they were wearing their masks on the chin the restaurant is dirty and the food is disgusting now, and not to mention they were so rude. I will never be going back there the service I received was unacceptable especially for the price I paid for a Caesar salad... Customers beware kitchen is disgusting, mouse droppings, masks on shin, hair in food read more

Take out pizza only! Pizza and salad were good but not wow. Friendly staff. New Venice Pizza could use some freshening up. In fact, the whole neighborhood could use some freshening up. Quite a bit of metered parking in the back. read more

Ordered 3 different pizza-one with pepperoni but the other two more specialty type-white ricotta with broccoli and buffalo chicken, all for my staff on a rough day. Delivery was prompt and pizza was good, enjoyed by all. Price was as expected for the area, ~$56 for all 3 large pies. Will return, thanks! read more

Some of the best pizza and service I've gotten in a while, definitely will go there again!!!!

1st time eating pizza here. This has to be the best pizza in the area. Sal makes it by had and is friendly and is in the business of making his customers happy. I will visit this place more. Thanks for my happy stomach. read more

Canceled our order after waiting 40 mins cause they were busy. I'd rather wait 2 extra hours than have my order canceled.

Ordered for the first time, very hopeful from reviews. True...not much grease but totally burned on the bottom which totally ruined taste. Sadly...one and done. read more

New Venice Pizza - Speaks for itself. Burnt! - Pizza Near Me - Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

We're new to the neighborhood, and tried this place because of the positive reviews. We ordered one plain and one white pizza with broccoli. The staff members were very friendly, and hearing that we had just moved to the neighborhood, were very welcoming (even let me choose a bottle from the refrigerated case, on the house). I thought the pizza was delicious, with a generous topping of broccoli. My son loved his plain pizza. We'll definitely order from again. read more

New Venice has great pizza. I think they are second only to Apollo Pizza.

I've only had delivery here once, so I'd be happy to revisit my rating later on. Maybe my expectations were high seeing four and a half stars and so many reviews. The pizza here was 100% average. In my mind even a step less--the sauce-to-cheese ratio wasn't my ideal and the crust was a little too thick. But overall it was completely fine. They took a little less than the 45 minutes they said they'd need to deliver it, which was nice, and the guy on the phone was very courteous. That said ultimately it's all about the food, and this pie was 100% "A-OK" read more

Bad chicken cheesesteak from a bad restaurant. The roll was huge and it had little to now meat. In addition to that I was sick the next day. Maybe the steaks aren't the go to item and they should stick to pizza. read more

The go-to Pizza around here. It doesn't look like much, but pizza is great (especially the white pizza!), chicken cheese steaks, onion rings (+++!!!). The owners are super friendly and funny. Outstanding pizzas & Strombolis. Fair price.

Great pizza joint that delivers and also provides a deep selection of stromboli, cheesesteaks, hamburgers, wraps and sandwiches. Delivery is prompt and the food is outta sight! Highly recommend it. read more

The taste is eh. The cheesesteak I ordered did not have extra cheese or ranch like I asked. It was very try and the roll was not toasted. Their pizza tastes nice but towards the middle it's very weak and if you get any toppings they are not supported. read more

The 5-star reviews of this place have got to be fake! The food is mediocre at best. We ordered 2 pies. One pepperoni and one with sausage and green peppers. Total came to just shy of $40. Total rip-off. Not only was it lousy pizza, but the toppings were sparse. I think this place has new owners. It's a shame because it used to be excellent. This new place doesn't deserve to be in business. Rude, too. Fair warning with this place! read more

SUPERB!! We've lived in wyncote for several years & only recently our daughter introduced us to New Venice. We are so glad she did - best pizza in the area!!!!! We are pizza lovers & have tried almost every pizza place in the area - New Venice is hands down the best!! I am disappointed it took me so long to find this place, but so glad I did! This is the only place we order pizza from now. Everything is fresh, hot & the service is phenomenal. We love New Venice!!!! read more

Always wonderful! Great pizza and calzone! Fast delivery! Favorite place for awesome food!

This is bad food. And there can only be two explanations to the positive reviews; 1. They are fake or 2. People in Elkins Park aren't that bright. All the food was bad. The only saving grace was the free 2 liter of soda they gave me. That was the one thing they couldn't make taste bad. read more

We were very pleased at the high quality and speed that Venice Pizza was able to provide on our order this evening. Always get good pizza from them. My kids like their chicken fingers too. Delivery is quick. Good neighborhood pizza place!

The pizza is great. I have pizzas from here about twice a week. I would not mind in the least if this was the only meal that I'd ever have. I recommend this to anyone. I wish that there were more than five stars. I especially love the chips and root beer. There is no possible way for this to get better in my opinion. I live nearby, so it's easy to get there. We're literally 30 meters away. My sister is the one who orders and she is a usual there. read more

I often hesitate in ordering a cheesesteak from a new place, as often its all roll and little meat. But reviews of New Venice swayed me. I was excited to open my cheesesteak and find a stuffed roll full of meat and toppings! I splurged and got a side order of cheese fries, which were great. I'll definitely be back to try more from new Venice! read more
