I wish I could tell you about the quality and taste. But it never arrived. The driver apparently delivered to an unknown location?

Ordered after 8pm via Uber Eats and delivery to West Oak Lane 77th Ave in 30mins hot, and delicious.. Being fairly new to the area I've tried several places based on ratings alone and found most to be disappointing to say the least. Went out on a limb with with this on after reading the majority of the complaints are with emotionally charged interactions and the lack of empathy with the store's employees. Seems to be the trend in the majority of the reviews regardless of the restaurant. Not to discount your experience but you're *messing* up the curve. Giving a rate of 1 or 2 stars should be reserved for horrifying experiences like something crawling out of the box or at a minimum a direct criticism of the product not the experience. Give them props where their due and use the comments to call people out by name. Anonymity only gives trash employees a place to hide and doesn't provide management with the information to reign in or push-out problem personnel. This place is hands down the BEST pizza I've had by far since being here and it's not even close. read more

ordered on grubhub and never received a call or anything to update me on my order. and then the order never arrived. once i called the restaurant it was a phone off the line and finally after calling some more a girl answered the phone and when i told her that my order never arrived she went silent and hung up and then disconnected the line once again. would not be surprised if this place was the head of a money laundering operation. read more

I constantly give these people my business and respect. I walked into this store as I do almost every other day, and for 8 minutes plus I wasn't even acknowledged and I was the only customer in the store. The owner and exactly 5 other workers stood and looked at me as if I was just there to be there. After about 8 minutes a delivery driver of theirs came into the store and yelled "Yo, let me get two slices." Only then was I asked if I wanted to order. The pizza here is to die for. Whenever I visit my family in the Olney section of Philadelphia, this is my first choice to order pizza. I recently tried their rib platter and was blown away. The ribs were so juicy, the meat was literally falling off the bone... yummy!!! I devoured the crust on the pizza, which is unusual since I normally don't eat pizza crust! TWO thumbs UP for the food, great service, and super fast delivery. I have no complaints!! Delivery arrived within the estimated times given. Pizza was at a good temperature but the mozzarella sticks were on the colder side, seemed under fried. Pepsi was ice cold which I appreciate. My family and I ordered from here late one night since the virus we couldn't go out. I ordered a large plain pizza which was soggy and the crust tasted like cardboard, a cheesesteak which one again had no flavor and I barely could eat the whole thing and then pizza fries, the fries were cold and soggy just like the pizza. I ordered buffalo wings fried hard & a salad with romaine lettuce. My salad was delivered iceberg lettuce who still uses that it has no nutritional value besides I specifically said romaine. The wings looked like they had already cooked them had the sauce on them and placed back in the fryer they had this weird taste and looked like something from an alien movie. So now I drive to the Sorranos to take it back I asked for the manager he made every excuse in the book. He said we usually don't give money back it's too much. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE (at least not with a card). I ordered food on Friday night, pizza special, two pizzas with one topping each came to $25. I paid with a card over the phone (never had an issue with this before). My card company alerted me on the transaction and stated that my card was charged $40.48. I called immediately. I was told the difference would be refunded. My food arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes after the order was placed my food arrived however the money had not been refunded. I called again and was told that the money would be refunded and the manager couldn't talk to me because he was busy. The driver gave me the food and almost didn't give me my receipt. I had to ask for my receipt which I received however there was no pricing or chargers nor was there anywhere for me to sign the receipt. I was told by the driver that they don't do that anymore. Hours later, no refund. I called again i was told the manager would call me back at close of business. Manager called me an hour before they close. He stated that the new machine would not let him do the refund however he would have someone drop it off in cash when they closed. Two hours after closing, no refund. Called today at 1pm spoke directly with manager. Expressed that i didn't receive the refund and was still waiting. He stated that he would have a driver drop it off within the hour. 4pm, no refund no phone call. Called again. The young lady at the front desk stated that the manager informed her that a driver would drop the cash off to me within 15 minutes. I asked to speak directly to the manager. Manager got on the phone. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the services. During the conversation i was told that 1. "They were too busy" 2. I should happy they're doing a cash refund because a card refund would take a few days 3. I shouldn't be upset because it hasn't been 24 hours. I will admit i became loud during the conversation at times because i did not appreciate the tone or Demeanor of the manager however i calmed down because i needed to get my point across. I was told that a driver would be to my home in 15 minutes with my refund of the difference. I explained that if i did not have my refund in 15 minutes, i would be going into the pizzeria with the police. I finally received the refund different in cash from a driver and within the 15 minute time frame. I will not be ordering from this pizzeria ever again. I called up a disgruntled Papa John's employee, clearly disturbing her evening and tried to place an order. After actually considering paying $19.48 and waiting over an hour for a pizza (from a shop 4 minutes away), I canceled my order and called up Sorrento's. The woman on the phone was polite, and most of all competent. She helped me figure out what I wanted and told me my total ($15) without me having to ask- which is not always the case. My large pizza with "The Works" (pepperoni, hamburger, and veggies) came 25 minutes later, piping hot., with a bottle of ice cold green tea Ginger Ale. The delivery guy was pleasant, end of transaction. The pizza was delicious. I'm not a crust eater, but I ate all of mine. This crust is soft and fluffy and tastes incredibly fresh. And they don't skimp on the toppings either. Sorrento's was definetely the right decision. They have a large menu and deliver until 11pm, which is great for this area (I refuse to write anything negative about North Philly, but I'm just saying). And it's walking distance from the Lasalle and Central High campuses. I'm a fan! read more

First we picked pizza. Surprisingly, It tasted better than most pizzas in the area. Yum. We no longer pay $20.00 for one center city pie. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and welcoming. Next, we ordered a cheese burger and mozzarella fries. The burger was definitely a "man burger." I took one of the 2 LARGE burgers from the bread and handled the one. They are certainly not stingy with meat. The mozzarella fries were pretty good as well. Fast delivery and fast preparation. This is the most money hungry place!!!! when you order wings 20 plus I think you should be able to get half plain and half with sauce if f you like... they will charge you a extra $2 for a container.... the food is here OK nothing special or extra. They didn't get my order right. Overall, the food was average. It's expensive here, too. They charge for cups and they were out of ice. Also, there was an all white cat walking around in the restaurant. Yes, in the restaurant! The girl had it totally wrong. Somehow she heard chicken salad and bacon cheese fries. Once corrected the price still seemed a bit high, buy I don't like to argue with ppl making my food. When the order came I was charged about three dollars more than the menu price for the cheesesteak and toppings were missing; they completely forgot the dressing for the salad; plus I still ended up with bacon fries (which were undercooked and the bacon fatty) and I don't eat bacon. And to top it off the drivers are always very short over the phone when they call to say they are outside, but quickly change their tune when my man answers the door (do they have a thing against women? ). Delivery time was good for a Friday night. Took my order fast and correct. Prices are very good. I haven't eaten here in 3 years, the food was a lot better then. They have not updated the online menu. I eat my food but I'm not saving anything for later. Got a salad with bread bowl which was not fresh. I didn't eat the bread it was horrible. The salad was ok, lettuce wasn't the best because it had a lot of big pieces like stem. The fries where just warm, mozzarella stick were smashed together. Waited about...25 minutes to get my food. After watching about 7 other people egt my food, I decided to go up to the counter and ask where my food was. The guy at the counter looked confused then said "oh... yeah its coming up" then it was out in a matter of minutes. It was good, however, being on my lunch break I ended up having to eat it on the subway, which kind of ruined my whole day. The food was delicious and it was a good deal, but this experience adding to an already bad day just made the whole meal a very angry one for me. I would be willing to MAYBE go here again, since food in this area is slim pickings. Not until I cool down a bit, though. read more
