Colorful interior artwork and tables

This place hit the spot but could be heartier especially for the price. After a long morning hike, we were craving a hearty, cold sub/sandwich. We found this place on Google, it was near the trail we were hiking. We were surprised by the selection. Ample vegetarian choices too. Lots of folks were taking things to go/picking up carry out meals but the indoor dining space was open. The air-conditioning was nice! There were also a table or two located outside for patrons. Service was friendly and helpful especially as we had questions while navigating the huge chalkboard-style menu. We didn't have to wait long for or food to arrive. Overall, it hit the spot. The vegetarian wrap really could have been more hearty. There was one slice of pickle on each side of the wrap and it was the thinnest pickle slice I've ever seen. I'm only mentioning this because I still can't get over it, ha! Also, the prices were a bit high. I think we paid about $30 for lunch (for the both of us). Overall we got what we wanted and were able to support a local business which makes us happy!

VERY fresh soups and sandwiches. Unassuming location that we drove past many times. Would never guess how nice this is inside. I personally am always looking for good soup places and was surprised to see SEVEN homemade soup options. There has been some really great options all 3 times we have been here & I really appreciate the vegetarian options available.

Asiago chicken artichoke and Hungarian mushroom soup

Wow. I have driven past this place at least 50 times or more. My sister finally said let's go to Angie B's for lunch. I had the Asiago Chicken Artichoke Panini. I added avacodo and banana peppers. I also had the Hungarian mushroom soup. I was blown away how good it was. This little place puts out the flavors! Sizes of subs are mini, 6in, 9in, and a huge 18in. If your in the mood for a really really good wrap, salad, sub, or Panini this is the stop. My sister and I both said that it has been a while since we have had such a good lunch.

Skimpy toppings speak for themselves. 1/2 block away, go to Cousins! Too bad I love Angee'z Italian

Great local dining place. Great sandwiches, soups, and salads. It was neat that they had Santa there for kids and adults.

Yummy subs, but two sandwiches and two soups ends up being $30. It's good once in a while, but it can get expensive.

I had no problem eating this delicious food in such a clean well maintained restaurant, staffed by a very friendly person. We had the wraps. I have absolutely no complaints at all about eating here. Our food was fantastic, and served quickly. I highly recommend trying this restaurant located in the small strip mall behind the drug store on the intersection of highway 60 & Lone Oak Road. I'll be a return customer.

I don't know where or what to call this food it just amazing! I would have expected this food if I was looking for middle eastern food near Detroit but I was in Hartford. 10 minutes from Little Switzerland. Moist off the kebab meat. Get the original. Has this grilled crispy pita outside and soft warm middle. Wife liked the quesadilla version. Good but you will miss that pita bread. They have garlic, herb, or spicy sauce. Get all three! It's the trio. Honestly every new place just makes living in MKE just better. Always had good people. Just needed quality ethnic food. This place adds that. A German, Turkish, Hispanic place that just hits the spot. And the garlic is potent. You will be enjoying that flavor for a few hours after:-)

The place is clean with lovely finishes and upscale touches. The staff are so kind and friendly. We followed the suggestions of the staff and ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes and the cowboy skillet. I stopped eating to share this review because we love it so much. The barista prepared perfect lattes. The pancakes are both crispy and fluffy and not too dense. The perfect amount of icing to finish it. The cowboy skillet has the ratio of diced potatoes, chopped bacon, and jalapeños mastered. Take the drive and come here for breakfast or lunch. So worth it!

The coffee was there almost before I ordered. I had a hard time choosing what to have as their menu had so many great options. Not too many like a Greek diner, but each item looked better than the last. I decided upon the Maria skillet, chorizo, jalapenos, and cheese with over easy eggs over hash browns, YUM!!! I opted for the side of pancakes over toast, because, why not?? My food arrived quickly, and the whipped butter served with the pancakes was not stone cold but easily spread, and the pancakes themselves were lightly sweet and fluffy, just the way you want them to be when you want to get your day going right. The skillet was amazing, eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns crispy and tender, chorizo cooked perfectly, this was a breakfast fit for the big day I had ahead of me. Thank you Red Apple Cafe, you will see me again soon!!!

We sat at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly. The space has a cozy feel, and they also have a little patio in the back if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice. Their specials were great too, and I loved that you can buy a bottle of wine to go. Even better, they keep the white wines cold, which is such a thoughtful touch. We both tried the salad special. I added chicken to mine, and my friend added salmon. I probably should have gone with the salmon because hers was cooked really nicely, while my chicken was a little on the dry side. That said, the salad itself was fresh, and the fruit on it tasted really good. They also had a nice beer selection with solid options on tap, so it seems like a good place whether you're stopping in for lunch, a drink, or something casual after work. Overall, friendly service, quick food, and a cute little spot I'd come back to.

I got the Ruben, which the menu describes as a hearty portion of corned beef. You'll see in the picture there were 3 thin slices of lunch meat type corned beef. Husband got the patty melt. We had the "nachos supreme " as an appetizer.... my fault I should have read beyond the title. One assumed that supreme meant Toppings. Nope. Ground beef, liquid cheese, on chips, with jalapeños. That's their version of supreme. Bland, after a couple turned gross and colgulated. First time here since moving back to the area a year ago.... go somewhere else. Uncle Larry's is a MUCH better alternative.
