The eleven of us went to Andy d's on a Monday evening. The parking lot was packed, and so was the inside. We were told to wait, and it was only a minute before we were seated. Our waitress was very nice, but she was a little forgetful. The kids root beers were swapped with a couple of waters, and an order of shrimp tacos was misplaced with chicken tacos. The service could use some improvement. The food was delicious. I had the blackened shrimp tacos, which were very tasty and delivered a nice kick. I also stole one of my family member's chicken tenders, and they were amazing. The salsa was a little bit lacking, but that's ok. Based solely on the food, I could probably give this place five stars. I thought the decor in the restaurant looked really good. There was two tvs displaying relaxing videos of fish, and there was a fish theme throughout the rest of the restaurant. But while the decor was nice, it was a little messy in there. Came in for the Mahi Mahi taco, sadly disappointed that they had run out of Mahi, BUT.. they were more than happy to substitute for Grouper! Fish was juicy, salsa on top was fantastic, service was great and attentive and the live music was fantastic, will gladly be going back!! read more

There were 3 dogs being fed from a backpack and the table right beside us in a crowded space. They were not service dogs. The smell of fog mixed with seafood was not pleasant. All the good things to say about this place! Alexis was our server this morning. She was super friendly and very attentive. We were greeted rather quickly after sitting down by her and then another lady to make sure we had been helped already. While this was our first time attending this restaurant you could tell they go above and beyond for the customer. The food came out within minutes of ordering... by far the fastest we have ever been served. Huge portions for a very reasonable price. My husband got the chicken fried steak and I got the veggie omelet. Both were delicious. My only complaint was that the biscuit was definitely old and hard. The ambience was very cute beach themed. Very laid back and comfortable. We have only lived here for three months now and this will for sure be a regular stop for breakfast for us! I highly recommend checking it out! read more

We have lived near Navarre Beach for about 15 years, and we've seen several restaurants come and go in this location. I hope Andy D's is a keeper! It is a beautiful space with a beach view in every direction. Our server was very pleasant, and our lunches were delicious. I had a blackened chicken sandwich basket and my partner had a mahi sandwich. Both were yummy and came with a large selection of sides. First time at Andy D's after 5 years at Navarre Beach. I wish I would have remembered the servers name; he was great. We had a party of 16 people, 7 of which were kids. All orders came out correct. The bills had 1 person switched on each check. Amounted $2 difference, who cares. The food was excellent and the service was too. Probably one of the better dinners we will have. Was in a beach spot next to Andy's.. googled and found this spot . This is just one among 2 restaurants around a radius of 15-20 miles towards Pensacola . Very close to beach . It wasn't beach facing but location wise it was good . Lots and lots of parking available . Bar was good. They had lots of verities of lager beers .. ordered food for to-go. They missed potato chips ... had to come Back and get it . Food was average . Chicken nuggets was also dry and average .. no other chicken items . It was mostly sea food .. . Bar was good . We're here in Navarre on vacation. We decided to try Andy D's for dinner since it is close to our condo. Went on a Tuesday night. We walk in and it was pretty loud in there. So loud, I couldn't hear the server talking to me. They sat us in this back room. Which seemed exactly like that. A back room. She sat us at a portable plastic table that has table legs that fold in so you can transport it like you'd see at a cookout or something. She tried to sit one of us on the end so you'd have to stratal the table leg. I was already disgusted by this. So I sit on the regular side of it. In front of me is this foldable partition. Wow such a nice view. Look to my right, what to my eyes do I see, a weed eater. I mean, I always enjoy eating dinner next to a weed eater. Who doesn't??? I ordered the House Burger with Onion Rings. It states it's a double Wagu burger. I highly doubt it was Wagu. Tasted more like a frozen Great Value Burger or like a JTM. There was barely a drip of mayo on the sandwich. The lettuce had a huge brown bad spot on it. Onion rings were way over cooked to the point the onion was slimy mush like snot. Gross!! Thought our waitress would come to check on us to see if we needed anything, like more mayo. Nope. Never came back til we were done and ready to check out. Never asked if we needed more to drink while we were eating or anything. Just completely bad all the way around. Wouldn't suggest anyone going here. read more

At Andy D's, one of the best things is the view -- the picture windows give you a beautiful look out over the deck and the beach beyond. It's a great spot to sit and enjoy the scenery while you eat. That said, during our visit today, our table was right next to the window overlooking the deck, and unfortunately, the dirty dishes cart from the deck was parked directly on the other side of the glass. It really took away from the otherwise perfect view. A small adjustment, like relocating that cart, would make the experience so much better. The BLT was amazing -- perfectly created and full of flavor. The over-easy eggs were a little more runny than I prefer, but still tasty. The pancakes had great flavor and were delicious, though they seemed a bit aged and not as fluffy as I expected. Now the service was extremely un precedented. Amazing and spot on. The bathroom has a cool ambiance with a rustic twist, which fits nicely with the overall vibe. The toilet, however, is unusually low to the ground (about 3 inches lower than normal) and elongated with a round seat. It honestly took some extra stomach muscle work just to get up from it. The sanitary garbage can also seemed like it could be changed more frequently to keep the space as fresh as the atmosphere suggests. One last suggestion: maybe invest in a new mop. The floor felt a little sticky as we walked out, and fresher cleaning would really round out the experience. All in all I would come back to experience the suggested improvements. read more

Best Caesar salad in the area. Add a grouper filet to the salad and it makes a terrific meal.

From the service by our amazing waitress who recommended what we ordered and she knew what she was talking about. This place is right across the street from the beach. The food was served hot, delicious and although they were busy, our food came out before we finished our appetizer! I highly recommend. JR took care of me during my lunch in the bar area. I had the fried shrimp, fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. The portions are big and you won't leave hungry. I couldn't finish mine. The shrimp was fried perfectly. The French fries are chip shaped. They were okay, but some were under cooked. The coleslaw was good with a little sour (in a good way) and a little sweet. I did not try the hush puppies. I was too full. The restaurant is an open concept layout with a deck facing the direction of the ocean. They don't have a real beachy atmosphere, but it was still nice. $25.99 before tip for my lunch plus a sweet tea. Sorry for the cloudy photos. I dropped my phone at the turtle conservation center and the impact broke my lens. Bummer! read more

Went there at 7pm on a Thursday and they were out of grouper, which was a main draw for us. They also didn't have an app that was on their online menu that we were looking forward to. Food took an hour to arrive and was cold. Portion sizes were generous but the quality was not there. The pasta was "Pasta-Roni" quality. Like literally I think they just make a bag of pasta-roni if you order it. They charged $23 for that. Prices were extreme. Will not be going back next time we are in Navarre. read more

Specifics are as follows: - Paloma cocktail was not good; I had two sips. - Grouper nuggets (rubber nuggets) were inedible, my slaw was just okay, and the fries were fine (they're fries). - Fried grouper was also like rubber, fried shrimp were meh, hush puppies a bit doughy, slaw okay, and again fries were fine. - Club sandwich and fries were eaten and noted to be good, but an hour later... "I need to throw up". I would not want any food coming out of that kitchen based on our experience. Perhaps something fishy is going on with those glowing reviews. Absolutely disgusting. I went today and ordered a Long Island and the bartender could not get the sweet and sour bottle opened and she gave it to a customer to help her open and he blatantly put his mouth on the sweet and sour lid to rip the plastic off. The bartender continued after that to use the bottle for me and whoever else there needed sweet and sour. Absolutely non sanitary and disgusting as an establishment to have someone who is not working there handle the liquids let alone put there mouth on a bottle. read more
