We were in town, evacuating from Hurricane Helene. We wound up at The Grey Taproom post dinner as we wanted to keep chatting and have a few drinks. Well, I wanted to keep chatting, everyone else wanted that and drinks. While I may not have ordered a drink myself, I will tell you that I regretted it. The ambiance was very spacious and they had a huge collection of beers, including fruity ones. I believe I saw a strawberry kiwi one and I nearly ordered that but opted against it as I was full. What a great addition to the city of Navarre. We loved it so much that we visited twice while we were there. My favorite part is that it is not a touristy franchise, instead, its a good ole neighborhood taproom. This place has a great selection of craft beers, sours, porters, browns, pilsners, etc. There are lots of seating choices which is great! You can sit inside, there are stools at the bar as well as comfy chairs and hightop tables. You can also sit outside on their covered porch or downstairs at the picnic tables in the grassy area. There are also outside sofas and chairs near the grassy area. Bring a bunch of friends and spend an afternoon or evening because they have cornhole, Jenga and Connect Four. They don't serve food, but a restaurant called Johnny Houston's is right next door. Something to consider - there is a parking lot, but both times we visited, we literally got the last spot. read more

Stopped in with my husband and adult son to try a Flight. Dishwasher was broke so they weren't serving flights. Everything was served in plastic cups. Came here while waiting for a table at Johnny Huston's. I asked for a wine menu and was given a clip board with a list. Literally asked for 4 different wines that were on the menu and they were out of every single one of them. Why have a menu then? Then I said let me have a sample of a beer on tap and that was a big mistake. Thankfully I just got a sample because the beer was flat and off flavor. Clearly the draft lines are not cleaned and gas is off. I just ended up just getting a vodka seltzer. Nice atmosphere and outdoor area otherwise nothing special. The Grey Traproom is a great example of a semi-successful entrepreneur opening up another business, that they know nothing about, and letting their son manage it. The staff has little beer knowledge and served me a hefeweizen without knowing it wasnt an actual hefeweizen. Most of the taps are either big industrial beers like Coors or out of state beers that have known popularity. The few Florida beers they have come in cans, which is much better then there taps considering the CO2 is wrong on most of them. This place reeks of white privilege trying to capitalize on ignorant beer lovers, luckily not all of us are going to fall for your bull shit. Chill atmosphere- on a cool night this place is exactly the place to just wind down and chill. Outdoor seating on two levels. Off 98 in Navarre and the staff and drinks are top notch! Stopped in to check out the place. It was nice and had nice outdoor seating. Big selection of beer. Wish they had a little more of the local stuff but there were a few. The only reason for the low review was the service. The lady behind the bar seemed almost annoyed we were there. When we asked questions about some of the beers she seemed more annoyed. She had a friend sitting at the end of the bar and every question we asked we could see her looking at her friend completely annoyed. Another couple came in and asked if they had local beers. She said yeah, a few. Didn't point them out or says what they were. They seemed turned off by her attitude as well. We will not go back. We will go straight to the breweries next time. read more

I really like the Grey Taproom, the decor is fresh and rustic and keeps in line with new businesses opening in today's marketplace. It's got soft paint, comfortable chairs, cigars, Jenga, and cornhole. The bathrooms are well designed and the whole place makes use of space pretty well. The staff is friendly and attentive though could use a little more training of beer and what's available to the customer. However with this place having opened just three days ago, i think it has a ton of potential. I was surprised when I read another review and read they didn't seem to have many local beers. I went and saw an ample number of Florida beers: 30 A, a few from Santa Rosa County, a couple more from Pensacola. Also of course they aren't all on draft most breweries don't keg beer for distribution until they hit the Sweetwater brewery size. All in all my fiancé and I really enjoyed our beers and trail mix. If your hungry the same person owns Johnny Hustons in the same parking lot so just call in and pick it up walk in and have dinner. Bring your friends play some cornhole or jenga and really get to know the Grey Taproom, I hope it's there and doing well for a long time to come! read more

Most places only offer Bud, Miller, or Yuengling for lager/pilsner. I miss Heineken or Stella on draught. But this is a sign of the times....
