One of the two local LGBTQ+ watering holes and I wasn't impressed. Bartender wasn't friendly to us, but he was to the locals. Drink prices were very reasonable (8.65 for two well cocktails). Plenty of (paid) street parking available as well as a parking lot. Locals were also not very friendly in my opinion. read more

Lovely place, felt safe. We were traveling there from LA to visit family and we came at the right time for a drag show. It was fun.

Cab has both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for your fresh air and smoking needs. Plus they have quiz nights on Wednesdays and the occasional drag show on weekends. The bar is small but still a lot of fun. Unfortunately, you have to be careful or you will get conned. I highly suggest paying for each drink separately, instead of running a tab, or they may charge you for other people's drinks without your consent. That happened to me on 12/9/17. My friend is a total prankster. The last time I visited P-Cola (only for one night) was during Memorial Day weekend several years ago. We hit up the beach bars and there were TONS of women everywhere! (SCORE!) However, we found out pretty quickly that Memorial Day weekend was a sort of gay pride weekend in Pensacola. So, yes, all those women were lesbians and not interested. Damn. Fast forward to 2013... I tell my friend that I wanted to hit up some bars but do NOT take me to a lesbian beach! So what does he do? He brings me to a gay bar with mostly gay men. Well-played, friend. (Dick.) But this place is actually one of the more chill spots in Pensacola. If you like karaoke (particularly Elton John - seriously), they have that here. The bartenders are all cool, and the prices were just fine. Personally, my friend probably thought he was going to make me a little more than uncomfortable taking me to a gay bar. Too bad for him I've grown to embrace those folks just like any other human being, so the joke's on him! :-P But seriously, great place and definitely worth a visit. read more

Ok... technically, it's a "gay bar". But really, it's a "mixed bar". And that's a Good Thing™, not a bad thing. Wonderful outdoor seating with a wall of french doors opening out to the street. Live piano some nights, live jazz singer other nights, and good karaoke the other nights. A little something for everyone. I really appreciate a nice happy hour place where you can actually sit with a friend or co-worker after work and TALK. There's always music videos or live music playing, but it's always easy to hear and be heard... and that's important to me in a bar. As a non-smoker, I appreciate the effort to keep the air clean... the new owner has spent thousands of dollars on ventilation and Smoke Eaters, and it really makes a difference. Always comfortable with the doors open if the weather is right. Happy Hour is fantastic as far as prices go, but a little "quiet" compared to other bars... which, again, is a Good Thing™ to many of us. Go for happy hour and enjoy the ridiculously low prices. Then stay for the evening's entertainment. It really is Pensacola's best "neighborhood bar". You'll always find a friend. read more

Older, more relaxed, chill crowd than Emerald City but brighter, roomier, and less smokey than Round Up. Friendliest bartenders around! This is my go to place for cheap beer and good company. You can hang inside with the top 40/dance music or chat with friends at their outdoor tables. I've never had a bad experience here; there's lots of friendly conversation with a diverse mix of people and rarely any drama. Karaoke on Monday and Thursday are fun!! read more

The Cabaret is my second home. Oh god that make me sound like a alcoholic. No but It's the kind of place you will want to come back to. I love to go to the Karaoke nights, because with the high ceilings. and the sound system. They have the best acoustics in town. But more then that there are a number of very good regular singers. Nice clean bar. They were not very busy and after the bartender gave me a bottled beer he didn't say anything untill I asked for the check. He charged me $2.00 extra because I put my 1 beer on a tab instead of paying when I received it. I went to the cabaret last night (Sat 13 Jan 2018) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The drag show was pretty good. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. Music was great. But the biggest highlight of the bar is the Bartenders- extremely polite, and Cody made me feel like a local. I had Cody making me drinks all night and now this is my go to spot for a great cocktail anytime I'm in town. read more

I stopped here with my husband and gave my card to start a tab. 30 minutes later I found out that the bartender gave my card away to a stranger. It took the manager 30 minutes to reverse charges on my card and he would'nt reimburse me for losses. I had to block my card for the stolen card. read more

Friend and I were in town visiting and left The Roundup to come here. It was a Thursday night and they had karaoke. Pretty lively crowd aside from them singing depressing ballads on stage. Bartenders were kind of droopy and didn't seem to be enjoying their night. Hire people with a personality. The cute bartender was straight and seemed for interested in two different girls at opposite ends of the bar than he was entertaining his patrons. Karaoke DJ Jeremy was super cool and social, asking people to sing and engaging conversation right people during songs. The owner or manager we met (Paul?) was super nice and we chatted him up at the end of our visit. Mixed crowd: little of this and a little of that. Then a few drugged up strippers rolled in with their pimp and made for good people watching lol. read more
