Please do not use this doctor at all for you cosmetic surgery. I had a thigh lift and liposuction on hips. After procedure I was draining like a faucet from my incisions. Every follow up I went with my husband and Dr. Talesnik continue to say is normal and it's the lidocaine. I ended up with a 104 fever and called him and said it was probably covid. When I arrived to the ER I was rushed right away and was asked if I went out of the country because I was botched. I said no, and gave them told them it was Dr. Taleisnik who performed it and is across the street. He came to the ER was so rude to everyone in the hospital and had the nerve to tell us and my nurse that he was working for free, which I have PPO and not to mention I payed him in cash $15k, for the procedure. They sat my husband down and while I was screaming due to the pain and crying. Doctors told my husband that I have a severe sepsis, and can lead to death. I had to get and emergency surgery and be reopened on the same area he performed for my thigh lift. He was rude to the nurses and my husband when off on him in a professional way and informed him he has no right to treat the medical staff that way but my life is in danger because of him. The OR team did t know what procedure they we're doing g on me and we're in shock of how unprofessional he was. I was so scared I was going to die. After surgery, I had to be given blood transfusion daily. The surgery was so painful and had to receive home care because he left me completely open. I fired him as my doctor for the hospital and seen another doctor. Doctor was in shock of what he did. It was the worse 5 months of my life. I couldn't walk and my husband was my caregiver. Now this happened in September 2021. I was left with severe scar tissue, and limited mobility. Now is 2023 and have to get surgery because not only could I have of died in 2021 because of him but now I have to get surgery due to the severe trauma of scar tissue he left for my thigh lift . This is so upsetting how he can get away with this. Please if you're planning to use do not. I beg do not. He almost cause me my life and now I got to surgery because of him. I cannot recommend Dr. Taleisnik enough. I came to him after looking for a couple of years at different plastic surgeons. After losing 180lbs, I had a lot of loose skin and need various skin removal surgeries. I did both free and paid consults with various surgeons from all around southern California and even out of state. I saw Instagram famous doctors, unknown doctors, checked review sites etc. and some of the worst consults I had were paid consults that were only 15 min long where they explained nothing and just wanted to book the surgery and get their money. My husband and I knew things were different the minute we met with Dr. Taleisnik. The consultation was free but he spent over an hour with us, explaining in great detail what his surgical approach would be given my specific case. He explained the different types of procedures, why he felt using a specific approach vs. others would be better given my situation and answered all of our questions. We knew after the initial consult that he was the doctor we wanted to go with. Not only because of his general bedside manner but his pricing was incredibly fair. In total, I have had three surgeries with him, starting in November 2023 and the most recent in June 2024. I initially had a felur-de-lis tummy tuck, my second surgery was an arm lift, and the third surgery was a mid-back lift and breast lift without implants. Because of the extent of the loose skin that I had, I was very understanding that there would be scars but I expressed to Dr. Taleisnik that it is very important to me that the scars be symmetrical and as straight as possible. He was very understanding and I am happy to report that all of my scars are healing incredibly well, they are very thin and straight. In addition to Dr. Taleisnik himself being a fantastic doctor, his office staff and nurses are also a joy to work with. Linae and Eunice are two of the most wonderful people. They are responsive, thoughtful, and attentive. Both the doctor and his nurses are incredibly fast at responding to texts with any concerns or questions. Post-surgery, the doctor called and texted multiple times over my recovery to check in with me. The aftercare I received from Dr. Taleisnik and his office was truly above and beyond. The surgery center that he uses (Main Street/Hoag) is right down the street from his office and everyone there is absolutely lovely and the nurses that see you in pre and post-op are gentle and caring. After having three surgeries with him, I would definitely recommend him to anyone I care about looking to get plastic surgery. As a general suggestion to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon: check with the CA medical board and the status of their license or to see if any action has been taken against them, make sure you understand the risks and complications associated with your desired surgery, and understand that even if a surgeon does everything correctly people heal/react to surgery in unexpected and unforeseen ways. My experience with Dr Taleisnik has been the most wonderful experience with plastic surgery. Back in 2009, I went in for a consultation for a breast aumentation. I saw 2 other doctors before I decided to go with Dr Taleisnik. I chose him because I was educated about the procedure and the implants. Most imortantly, I felt safe and comfortable with him. He is very conservative with the size of the implants that made a more natural look with my saline implants. Fast forward to 2023, I decided that it was time to change out to my saline implants to silicone. (Note: there were no issues with my saline implants. They still looked and felt great.) Updating my review, 4 years later because I seriously could cry at times from how BAD my breast healed over the years. My boobs look no where near what did they did the first months. My boobs clamp up into a weird stiff ball when I flex in any slight way. They're not proportionate at all, one of my aerolas is dramatically higher than the other. I'm SO insecure about my breast, the only reason I got a breast augmentation was to feel more confident about my breast and now I could say I used to feel way more confident before my breast were ruined! I now have to find another surgeon who will reconstruct my boobs and fix all my problems that my surgery with Dr Taleisnik left me. Well, after doing my due diligence by interviewing (yes I interviewed) several plastic surgeons (for a tummy tuck), I made the BEST decision in putting my trust in Dr. Taleisnik!! During my interviewing process I found that there are multiple considerations that took place for me to ultimately go with Dr. Taleisnik; I walked into fabulous medical offices all across Southern California, some with marble floors and beautiful chandeliers. I was offered sparkling beverages, delicious snacks and was met by near perfect looking "coordinators". ** I asked to first speak with potential surgeons however EVERY time I was advised an appointment would be necessary. Some charged a fee some did not** During the times I interviewed the surgeons I found most to be friendly and listened (or pretended to) what I was wanting to "fix". ALL of the surgeons I met with offered additions procedures that they thought would be complimentary/needed for my surgery ($$$). Some suggested a ton of liposuction ($$), that I needed a breast augmentation ($$$) and one even suggested a butt lift!! That said, I found Dr. Taleisnik, and what a breath of fresh air! First of all this was during Covid when VERY few doctors were physically seeing patients. Dr. Taleisnik FIRST set up a telephone call to discuss my TT. From there he arranged a virtual appointment ON A SATURDAY no less. Once I felt he was ACTUALLY listening to me, I made an in-person exam. His office was no frills which I actually respected. He was honest and he educated me on the process and what to expect. He seemed conservative in his work and what I could expect once the surgery was done. None of these unrealistic expectations and NO UP SELLING!! His fees were absolutely fair and reasonable unlike others I consulted with. I had my surgery done by Dr. Taleisnik a little over four months ago. To say I'm estatic is an understatement. From our first telephone call to post-op, he and is assistant Linae, were kind, professional, caring and took the best care of me. I am beyond happy with my results. Dr. Taleisnik did a mini lift with implants. He cut around the areola and inserted the implants through there. I have minimal scarring and my breasts look amazing. It's been 8 years since I had my BA with Dr. Taleisnik. I found him to be a gifted surgeon and I'm still so happy with the outcome of his work even after these many years. Prior to this surgery I had a BA from a different doctor and there was a world of difference in the outcomes. In addition to Dr. Taleisnik's consummate surgical skills, he also excels in explaining everything in detail, giving his patients all the time they need and also explaining all the risks. I understand this kind of thoroughness is not practiced by many plastic surgeons. Dr. Taleisnik also impressed me as one who genuinely cares about his patients and he is steadfast in his focus on the best possible outcome.  I was just recently diagnosed with early breast cancer. I had moved from SoCal and am now living in Florida. Unfortunately the surgeon here did not meet Dr. Taleisnik's high standards during my lumpectomy and reconstruction. I ended up with necrosis, significant pain and my healing will now be delayed for up to six months. As you can imagine I felt quite frightened and so decided to call Dr. Taleisnik. He right away scheduled a tele-appointment with me. After speaking with him I cannot tell you how much better I felt. He gave me professional reassurance that I will heal after much time. I have seen other doctors for other procedures over the years and I wish to say that I appreciated his professionalism, care, and time he spent with me. Andres is the most arrogant disrespectful doctor I had met in my entire life. When he was doing his hand surgery, before he switched over to plastic surgery , I had an appointment with him . I was excited because he was a referral of a friend of mine. He walked into the appointment which I had set two weeks prior and he said "Oh no I can't see you " I replied back, "Sorry, yes we have an appointment scheduled- your staff scheduled it. I am so shocked that someone had something bad to say about Dr. Taleisnik. I had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Taleisnik in 2006 and he was absolutely amazing. I had just about given up on the idea of getting any work done because after several consultations with different doctors I could not find one I liked or trusted. They either came off as creepy, rushed or clueless as to what I wanted. I wanted to natural looking implant (I'm 5'10" and size A cup), so I wanted to go bigger but not HUGE. Dr. Taleisnik came highly recommended by a friend of mine, so I thought I would give this one last shot. Dr. Taleisnik was re assuring and completely understood my needs. He talked me through all of my options, described the differences between the implants and gave me an idea of what to expect when surgery was complete. He didn't give me any false expectations, he was very accurate with what to expect. When we were in the office for consultation and again for pre-op, I never felt like he was trying to rush me out the door. He took his time, answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. Day of surgery he was great. He even posed for a picture with me :) When I went under I was so excited about waking up with new breasts. Dr. Taleisnik did an amazing job. Of course I was sore when I came to, but he had told me to expect that. I went home and followed Dr.'s orders. He even called me that evening (on a Friday night) to follow up with me and remind me of how to take care of myself post op. The entire experience was great. I would love to go back to him in the future if I require any more plastic surgery. It's been about 6-7 yrs now and I still love my breasts :) I've had 2 kids since my surgery and they held up fine. I had no problems breast feeding which was huge relief. My recommendation here is don't judge him off a bad post. I seriously can't believe anyone could have a negative thing to say. I would highly recommend Dr. Taleisnik for anyone seeking to have a breast augmentation done. I am 10 days post-op from a breast augmentation done by him and I cannot be doing better. From pre-op to post-op, Dr. Andres was with me every step of the way. I absolutely love how easy it is to get a hold of him via email, you'll almost always get a same day response making it super convenient and comforting to know when you're thinking about undergoing surgery. Especially if you're like me (I'm a paranoid patty.) So here's my short story. I've always been obsessed with boobs, I felt like everyone had them but me. I waited and waited for mine to grow, but it just never happened. My right boob was slightly smaller than my left, so bras just never fit quite right. Long story short, I just never felt womanly. My sister and I had always joked about bargain shopping for boobs since we all know breast augmentations aren't cheap. (hahaha! who would bargain shop for boobs?) but last thing I wanted was to end up on the show botched, so I decided that I would just save up to find a good ps. (but if you were wondering, Dr. Andres does give a discount if you and a friend decide to get a breast augmentation done together) so after years of feeling underdeveloped, I finally did it. I started looking up plastic surgeons on real self and tried to find a somewhat affordable, yet great surgeon with good reviews. After emailing what seemed like 20 surgeons, only one stood out, Dr. Andres was the only one genuinely interested in helping me receive the look I wanted and answered all my questions before I even came in for my consultation. Granted that most ps are busy with surgeries and other patients , I feel like it's important to create that bond even if it takes an extra minute to put a little thought extra and feeling into an email. (I want to feel like I'm talking to a real person.) I mean, you're basically paying someone a lot of money to slice you open and stitch you back up. I NEED to feel like my plastic surgeon cares for my well being as well as achieving the look I want. And after looking over tens of before and after pictures, I was honestly tired of seeing over-sized boobs that didn't really fit the persons frame. As much as I wanted big boobs, what I wanted more was a great ps who could give me natural looking and full breasts. I was completely confident that Dr. Andres would be the one I chose to perform my breast augmentation. So confident that I scheduled my surgery right after our consultation! I knew I wanted him to be my ps after the first couple of emails we exchanged and after meeting him, I just couldn't wait . He knew exactly what I was looking for and he was very attentive to what I wanted/had to say. He genuinely listens to what you want and will give suggestions to what he thinks would fit your frame whether you're going for a natural look or a slightly "juicier" look. I'm just about a year since my breast augmentation with Dr. T and I am sooo happy with how I look! I absolutely have the look I was going for which was natural and full. I'm so grateful I listened to Dr Taleisnik who never pressured me to go bigger or choose my alternate option of a lift; he listened to what I wanted yet still allowed the option of going bigger based on his assessment once he actually put the implants in during surgery. He went with the bigger implant that we discussed and I'm very very pleased he did...if I had made my choice on my own during the consultation I would have gone smaller but I see now that his experienced knowledge was worth trusting! I'm full in all the right places, can go braless without looking fake and can push my bust up as much as I want to show with a bra.
