Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. Patients deserve to know not only how successful outcomes are handled, but also how they are supported when results do not go as planned.

I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. He even handled my court case and made $15,000 off of that which we lost the case and we are in debt from all of my nose surgeries. I had emailed him about an estimate for my nose, it was around $30,000. I had my consultation once again after the waited time period, we talked about fixing the holes (dents in my nose from missing cartilage), and fixing the irregularities. I booked the non refundable deposit of $1,000 after meeting with him and scheduled the surgery thinking the quote would similar to what he quoted me on email. The receptionist (I can't say names on yelp), sent me a quote of $187,050. I was floored. I lost the deposit money and we can't afford almost $200,000 for a nose job. I am filled with so many questions of why? Where did we get so lost? My emails are ignored now. I lost the money to the lawyer to the last surgeon who botched me, we're in debt from 4 surgeries that botched me, and I put all my eggs in one basket as to the hope for him to fix me for good. We can't even get a loan for $200,000. I'm really down and absolutely shocked that he said he would help me, but surprised me with a price tag that's insurmountable for what we can afford. It's saddening. My hope is gone for surgeons. They're greedy and money hungry. I hope this review gets him to read what emotional toll this has taken on me, and to think before you charge a patient $200,000 to fix irregularities on their nose. I'm no millionaire or billionaire, I'm a mom raising a toddler who has had a really hard time looking in the mirror. I wish he would have kept his word. Only God will judge us at the end as to how we treated those in need of help but couldn't afford a quarter million dollars to get it.

I'd…read morelike to start by saying that the office staff was always very kind. 360 TUMMY TUCK: 7/10 For the most part, I am still very happy with the tummy tuck procedure. I did have a complicated recovery with necrosis of the belly button, but you would not be able to tell now. My scars are alright, I've definitely seen much better... but I tattooed over mine anyway so it didn't matter much to me. However, during the consultation I made it a huge point that there was a part of my lower back that I was very unhappy with. Dr K documented and explained that it would be lipo'd and he would excise it if necessary. I have a scar in the area, but it looks like it wasn't touched AT ALL. Definitely no lipo in the area, just a normal tummy tuck scar, but it doesn't go all the way under the area of concern. So it looks like he left it untouched. When I brought this up at my several post op appointments, he told me to wait a year. After a year, he brushed it off. I am now left with this incredibly awkward small lump right above my butt crack that has left me incredibly insecure. BREAST IMPLANTS AND NIPPLE LIFT: 1/10 I already had breast tissue (about a 36 C) but deflated after weight loss. I really wanted to fill them back up and make them perky again. Because of how deflated they were, I was expecting to get a breast lift, which other surgeons also mentioned to me. During the consultation, Dr K was very adamant that he would NOT do a lift, because I was in my early 20's. His reasoning was that they would need to be redone after I had kids... so I told him that I do not plan to have children. He told me that I might change my mind - which is absolutely NOT for him to decide or even have a say in. He told me he could do a nipple lift on my right side and it would make them look even and perky without the lift. I trusted him. My nipple is now OVAL ladies. OVAL. Completely mismatched. Extremely embarrassing. I also have had rippling, it feels like the implants are underfilled. I can literally crunch the bags and you can see it. When I lay down, they go to the side completely and my chest is flat. When I bend forward, they droop and look absolutely disgusting. I was also very concerned about the left breasts shifting so much to the side when I work out, that it completely deforms and pulls the bag. He told me "you can't work out your chest." This was a YEAR after surgery. He literally said I cannot work out, and that was the answer. Six years later and I have extremely heavy, sagging implants that are weighing my chest down. My nipples fall over the crease of my breast, and it's extremely uncomfortable and they've made me feel so embarrassed. I am now having to save money to get the lift that I should have gotten 6 years ago, and hoping that another doctor can fix my nipple and the underlying damage. I will never get these past 6 years back (and the next few years that I spend saving up.) So I hope this saves someone else.

I truly believe you get what you pay for and with Dr. Andrew Smith you get quality work! I received a breast augmentation and breast lift a week ago and I cannot tell you how happy I am with my results already. I breastfeed my baby for about a year and wanted to do something to reward myself and to make my breasts look full and happy again. After going to a few consultations with different doctors I was starting to get discouraged. I just didn't feel comfortable with the doctors I saw or the staff I dealt with. With the kind of money you spend on a procedure like this not only are you hoping to find someone who does phenomenal work, but also someone who takes the time to understand the look you're going for and takes the time to talk to you about how the procedure is done and what he recommends. After my consultation with Dr. Smith I knew he was the surgeon for me and I immediately stopped shopping around. The staff there is amazing! They make you feel comfortable talking about anything and they make you feel right at home. Katrina from his office spent over an hour with me during my consultation going over every little detail of the procedure, answering all of my questions (lord knows I had a lot),helping me pick a good size for my body, showing me all the different implant options etc..She gave me her e-mail and told me to e-mail her at any time with any questions I may have. When I did e-mail her she would respond back immediately, even if I was 8:00 pm at night. Dr. Smith is very professional. He makes you feel comfortable and really listens to what you want and has so much patience. I went with a smaller implant because I just wanted fullness back and never once did he try and convince me to go bigger, instead he agreed that the size I picked was perfect for my frame and he really made sure to give me the look I was looking for. Recovery was a breeze! I had no bruising and stopped taking my pain pills two days later because the pain was minimal. Dr. Smith's work is amazing! I had a very difficult breast implant job done April 1, 2025! After surgery one implant sat a lot higher than the other implant and I was very unhappy as I paid over 12 K for this. I have come back for check up after check up and he keeps telling me that it looks like it's dropping into place and if it doesn't drop into place that we will have to go back in to surgery to cut the incision and drop it into place! My last appointment in August, he said by September we can make that decision. Of course I went in there today and he is trying to tell me that I've made huge progress, but you see I have taken progress pictures and it has not dropped at all so my implants are completely uneven. One is way higher than the other and I'm very unhappy. I told him that if it was not corrected by November on its own that I would like him to go back in and revise this he of course, was not on board with this and feels that we should wait one year. doing research and talking to other doctors where your implants sit within the first 3 to 6 months most likely they will not move. so I'm now forced to get a second opinion and I'm probably gonna have to pay a lot of money to get this corrected. i've been patient with him and today I told him I was not happy. I am not happy with the implants at all. They are saggy and they are not firm. I know that there's plenty of other doctors out there that have implants that are firm as I've talked to several of them and all he could do is blame it on my skin that it's too thin and too soft excuse after excuse and I don't buy it. All he can concentrate on is how complicated the job was well you charge me for that complicated job and my one implant is not correct. I first went to Dr. Smith in November 2013 for a consultation after being referred to him by a friend who had just had a procedure done. Right from the start I was very comfortable in his office. His staff of women are very polite and friendly. They all were very understanding of my wants and concerns and all of them were open with there own experiences with plastic surgery. Dr. Smith from the beginning was great. I wanted a breast augmentation and I wanted them perfect. He was very open and honest with me when it came to answering all my questions and addressing those concerns. On December 12th 2013 I has my breast augmentation done, I knew about how big I wanted them but I left the final decision up to Dr. Smith. My after care was amazing they were there and still are every step of the way. With the quick changes my body went through the first week was rough, but the office called everyday to check in on me. Now that my breast have settled and the swelling has gone down I can't believe the amazing job he did. It's everything I wanted and more, there not to big or to small for my body there perfect!!! I cant say enough about Dr. Smith and his friendly staff! First off he changed my life, if youre looking into getting breast augmentation look no further! After looking at so many before and after pictures and reading so many reviews online doctors all over from SD to LA I set up a consultation with Dr. Smith. Just calling the office alone for the first time I felt like they really cared about me and even moved appointments around to fit me in on my schedule. There was absolutely no pressure, I felt so comfortable, they really helped guide me in the direction and vision I had in my mind for my body. Typically, you're advised to meet with multiple surgeons before making a decision since surgery is a serious commitment, but Dr. K was actually the first and only consultation I did. I immediately felt comfortable with him and his staff right off the bat. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Dr. Kelishadi took the time to thoroughly evaluate my anatomy and recommended the Preservé technique with Motiva implants. He explained that I had natural asymmetry and suggested two different implant profiles (demi and full) with a 65cc difference to create better balance. I truly appreciated his honest, thoughtful approach and I am so glad I trusted his expertise because I am very happy with my results. One of my biggest hesitations about breast augmentation was fear of going under general anesthesia. Dr. Bunkis performed a brachioplasty on me back in fall 2018, one arm looked like it had not even been touched. I had one arm completely different than the other. He needed to revise and didn't want to pay the surgical facility fees, so he did the revision in his office under local anethesia. I was nervous, could smell the burning from the cutting of my skin, but yet again he did a terrible job and my arms did not match. Since I didn't want to go through a local anesthesia again, I shared with him I was interested in lipo in my calves (I could only fit in wide calf boots and wanted a little taken out). I was willing to pay the surgical facility fees, and he would do both the calves and fix the my arm A THIRD TIME. Almost a year after my brachioplasty, Dr. Bunkis performed the second revision on my arm and the lipo in my calves. He disfigured my legs! First of all, they did not put the girdle on me until I woke up! WHO DOES THAT!!!??? I was in excruciating pain, cursing and screaming as they put the girdle on my legs. He took so much out of my calves and then he did my ankles without us discussing that. I NEVER said I wanted my ankles lipoed. I just needed a little bit from the upper calves. I was in a wheelchair for a month, then a walker for another month until I could finally move to a cane. I didn't think I would ever walk again! I had severe edema in both feet. To this day, I live with pain and limitations in my calves. I have so much scar tissue that just holds onto the fascia that restricts many activities. Plus I have so much loose skin from all the fat he took and I look disfigured in proportion. I have even had other Plastic Surgeons who have told me previous patients of Dr. Bunkis consult with them to fix Dr. Bunkis' botched surgeries. RUN, RUN... DR. BUNKIS YOU NEED TO RETIRE NOW BEFORE YOU DISFIGURE MORE AND RUIN THEIR LIVES.

Back in 2021 I was 14 and got an…read moreotoplasty for both ears done by Dr. Ali and both of them unfortunately grew huge keloids and the inner stitching popped out, resulting in redoing both ears again, same problem happened again with my left ear, now I am 18 and the keloid was too big I couldn't sleep on my left side. This time Dr. Song assisted me and recommended radiation therapy to prevent a future keloid on my ear which worked out perfectly. He quickly got the procedure done in 10 minutes of cutting off the keloid and also pinning back my ear again with stitches. During recovery I had no sharp pains or any complaints while stitches were healing on my ear. Next week when taking off the stitches, I mistakingly showed up at the wrong center and they kindly allowed me to reschedule later with no no-show or late fees which was so kind. After taking off the stitches the shock made my body pass out and luckily Dr. Song was holding me up when I woke up and gave me cold water and a cold towel to recover, while reassuring me it's okay and it's normal. One of the kindest front desk ladies also stayed in the room with me until I could recover fully. I cannot recommend Dr. Song enough for his kind, hospitable, and selfless character and great skill and precision as a surgeon!!

While the office offered me a discount for a second surgery, I still paid a significant amount out-of-pocket. Sadly, the second procedure also failed. When I reached out to Dr. Ali and his office to discuss my concerns and explore solutions, their only suggestion was to attempt the procedure a third time. I expressed that I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with them due to the risk of experiencing the same outcome. I wanted to seek care from another doctor I could trust. In response, Dr. Ali acknowledged that he may not have the necessary skill set to perform the procedure successfully and stated that he would instruct the office to issue me a refund. After taking some time to carefully consider my options, I contacted the office to request my refund--only to be told they would not be providing one. I have since spoken to others who have had similarly negative experiences with this office, and I've even heard Dr. Ali referred to as "The Butcher of Newport." The stress, time away from my family, and financial burden caused by this ordeal have been immeasurable. Unfortunately, I am still suffering from the results over 10 years later and cannot afford to repair the mistakes. I continue to have a double bubble issue on both breasts. After my first surgery, I experienced complications and developed a hematoma. I later went back in to fix the issues, but the outcome remained the same. What has been most difficult is that I was never offered a proper solution, revision support, or even a meaningful follow-up conversation about next steps. I paid over $8,000 for a surgery that has left me deeply insecure for more than a decade. I avoid bikinis, feel uncomfortable in my own body, and honestly feel heartbroken over the results. I have since consulted with other surgeons who explained that the implant placement was not done correctly, which likely contributed to the double bubble deformity and overall appearance. I tried to be polite, not bother anyone, and even blamed myself. But now at 36, I've reached a breaking point and feel it's important to speak honestly about my experience. I hope women take the time to research thoroughly, meet with multiple surgeons and not go to the first surgeon they google like I did and ask difficult questions, and really think through their decision before moving forward. This was the first place I went to, and I trusted them completely. I miss my old self and appearance. The results have affected my confidence for years, and I hope one day I can afford to fix them. This is simply my personal experience, but I also wish the office had reached out over the years, checked on me, or acknowledged that the surgeries were not successful. I still have all the surgery paperwork and amount I paid, I look it and just wish there was an attempt to correct the mistakes or issues -Daisy
