I'm 68 years old. For years I struggled with breathing problems and sleep apnea. I used CPAP but was tired of being sick and tired. At 66, I had my first rhinoplasty. I waited until the one-year mark to leave this review because I wanted to give my body enough time to fully heal and settle before speaking on my final results. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the outcome of my breast augmentation and with the level of follow-up support afterward. I had surgery on May 5, 2025. Around 4-5 months post-op, I began noticing significant asymmetry developing. By the time I returned for my follow-up appointment in September, the issue had already become very noticeable. At this point, I developed capsular contracture on my left side, causing the breast to feel hard, tight, and unnatural. On the right side, the implant dropped significantly lower than the left, creating visible asymmetry and uneven nipple positioning. I also experienced poor scar healing around my right areola, with the scar remaining thick, raised, and persistently itchy nearly a year later. To be fair, Dr. Kosins did acknowledge the asymmetry during my September appointment, discussed revision options with me, and his office provided information regarding the Allergan warranty coverage. I understand capsular contracture is a known risk of breast augmentation surgery and not necessarily the result of negligence. However, what left me disappointed was the lack of continued follow-up and support afterward. After the initial discussion regarding revision options and warranty information, there was no further outreach, follow-up phone call, scheduling assistance for next steps, or even scheduling of my one-year post-op appointment/check-in. As a patient navigating an upsetting complication less than a year after surgery, that absence of communication left me feeling unsupported and alone in the process. I never expected perfection, and I understand complications can happen with any surgery. But when complications do occur, communication, reassurance, and aftercare matter just as much as the surgery itself. 9/10/25 Consult for tummy tuck It has been over 10 years since I got my Rhinoplasty done by Dr. K. I still love my nose no matter where my weight is at. It has been a lovely study nose all through the years. I trusted my nose in his hands, why not this? I booked a consult to meet in person to discuss my concerns and reason for interest. He was very professional and honest about the risks that I would have due to having a high BMI. He said, "It's not whether or not you will have risks. It is more about which one of those risks will occur." I have had two other consults closer to home and every surgeon is gun-hoe about getting it done. Promising great results etc. No one has taken the time to emphasis on the surgical risks that may delay healing, cause more complications and even look differently than what I had imaged due to BMI concern. Dr. K was firm and said he recommends me to seek guidance from a gastric surgeon (even provided me with a recommendation to start) and see what my options are. Once I get down to 170lbs or so, if still seeking intervention, then come back to him. I greatly appreciate his honesty and his concerns for his patient's well being. Dr. Kosins has an unparalleled talent. I've been researching rhinoplasty surgeons since I was 12 (currently 29) but was unable to find the right surgeon until I discovered Dr. Kosins on Instagram. Prior to finding him I had consultations with doctors who made me fear the drastic changes they wanted to make by narrowing my nose too much, and other surgeons actually said they did not feel confident operating on me. I am Filipino and Italian so my nose is unique -- I have a decent bridge but my tip was very bulbous and starting to droop, and my wide nostrils were flared and uneven. I've seen a lot of people look like a different ethnicity after rhinoplasty and that is not what I wanted. I was confident in choosing Dr. Kosins because he truly understands how to balance every individual's face and preserve their look. I purposely did not mention much about what I wished for from this surgery because I knew he would have the intuition and understanding beyond what I could suggest -- and clearly he did! I never even took the prescribed painkillers (only Tylenol) because that is how manageable this experience was. I had not done the rhinoplasty procedure with Dr. Kosins. My review is based solely on my experience with the Online consultation in which I dealt directly with him. Since it was during the height of the pandemic, the online consultation was an option. He ran me through a questionnaire of my physical dimensions: height, weight, etc. He then asked me to pose frontally looking straight and then from a side profile perspective. He then told me that since I was a big guy, 6'2" 210 Lbs., that a small nose would look bizarre. He recommended reshaping my nose. He then got descriptive in a rather insulting and rude way. "I will straighten your nose so that it doesn't plunge downward like a hook." WOW! Being that he's so well received by clients, it gives him the temerity to pop off and say offensive remarks. In addition, he also bragged that he was the most prolific Nose surgeon in the country. Not once. Not twice, but three times. I have no clue if this is true and I wouldn't know how to substantiate this. But if he is, good for him. There was another review I read where a client was put off by his arrogance and braggadocio. I took felt that way. After the appointment, I received an email stating that they require a $2,000 non-refundable down payment. I also told him that my decision to get rhinoplasty was for myself and that my girlfriend already loved my nose as it is. He asked what race or ethnicity my girlfriend is. She is Chinese. He nodded in a knowing and derisive tone and said, "Oh yeah, that figures." Insulting and racist to say the least. Why would her ethnicity matter in aesthetic taste? I decided not to move forward with Dr, Kosins, not because of his expertise as a surgeon, but rather not to give him the satisfaction and validation that he's so good that he has the position to insult people in this way. I chose to keep my nose as it is. The beauty industry relies on making people feel bad about a particular feature of their appearance. And this is why these surgeons make so much $$. Since I can remember I've wanted to get rhinoplasty, and more so after turning 30. What I didn't like about my nose was becoming more prominent with age. Where do I start? I found Dr. Kosins by researching board certified rhinoplasty surgeons in 2016 between Los Angeles and Orange County. I found Dr. Kosins bio on his website and started to do some research. 2017 I met with Dr. Kosins to go over a free consultation in regards to my nose. His staff members were so professional and all sweet hearts, and his office was immaculate. It's what some expect to see at a cosmetic medical office. Not entirely true. But it was for Dr. Kosins's! I met with him and we went over soo many things including my origin and then shows me pictures of men and women of my ethnic background, along with patients that have similar nose characteristics. He told me what a lot of MD's wouldn't dare. I mean why would they?? They promise you the world and not always deliver. For Dr.Kosins, he was very upfront and honest about my nose. He said my nose could be a difficult nose because the sebum of my skin had a lot of oil. And that's just a genetic trait that I have carried, the reason that my nose is bulbous. I had met with three other doctors prior to Dr. Kosins, he is the only one who directly told me the truth and I actually respected him 1000 times more because of it. With that said, he told me to really think about it. And they gave me a price. Well, I reached out right before the pandemic in January 2020.. and he was booked until EOY!! Yes, this man is super booked. I placed my deposit, and now here we are 2022. After I having to reschedule 2 times (pandemic and sister wedding) I finally got me nose! Before it happened we met again a week preop, we went over the exact details of what was to take place. He asked me what three areas would you like to change? I told him that 1. Radix where my frontal bone and nasal bone met, my bulbous tip and making it appear narrower. He agreed on two areas which was the Radix and the bulbous tip. But he said my nose would look narrower once the tip is made and find better. So I agreed with him and he said if I was not on the same boat as he was that we would cancel the surgery and he was not gonna move forward with it. Because he was not going to promise me something that is not realistic. People, this man will speak truth to you and take it from me. Listen to him. He knows exactly what he's talking about and will only amaze you with the results. My surgery was done on January 26. I had absolutely no bruising, and only swelling which his nurse Judy ( LOVE LOVE HER) called me every day until my first check up to make sure I was OK. Weekends, weekdays to check on me ... he called me over the weekend. They are amazing, so amazing and so tentative. I felt so good and relieved on how many times they called me and checked on me. They all actually care. Today I just had my second postop with Dr. and I couldn't be happier. I cannot wait until I meet with him five months after surgery, it will only get better with time and I'm loving my nose now. Thank you to Dr. Kosins for everything, his entire team and staff members. It's like a family there and I super happy with my decision and outcome with Dr. Kosins! I work in the medical field myself, and all my doctors, best friends, family members are lost for words on how amazing and how natural my nose looks. Hello all! As promised in my org post, Here is a 6 month post op update. with each passing day, my nose slowly gets better and better. I breathe tremendously better, I am getting great sleep, I don't snore anymore, and working out at the gym is significantly easier now that I can control my air intake. I can't wait to see the final results - please note that the picture I attached is still in the healing process and is still slightly swollen, especially the tip. :) My nose was extremely swollen in the beginning, so my best advice is TRUST THE PROCESS. The nose I have right now, 6 months after surgery - is not even the same nose I had when the cast was removed. The swelling can be very deceiving, but I promise you the end result is flawless. I had always been very self-conscious of my nose, so I finally brought myself to look for plastic surgeons so I could have the nose of my dreams. I had heard of Dr. Kosins, as he has a stellar reputation in the area. I began scrolling through his Instagram where I found his beautiful before and after transformations. After meeting Dr. Kosins and the rest of his friendly staff, I quickly realized why his office is so highly regarded. Apart from being crazy talented, Dr. Kosins is such a cool guy and makes you feel so comfortable. It's clear that he also has a crazy good eye for beauty. Words can not explain the gratitude I have for Dr. Kosins. He seriously changed my life and I will forever be grateful. Dr. Kosins performed a revision rhinoplasty on me with rib graft 5 weeks ago. I had my first rhinoplasty with another doctor two years ago and was left with a nasal collapse and many other issues. I really struggled with my breathing after that. It was so bad it was limiting my everyday life. My nose looked pinched and not pretty at all. Post-procedure tips included :) I was under the pretense that I had to "earn" my rhinoplasty procedure. "When I lose weight..." "My face might change, so I should lose weight first then I can earn it. ." I wish I had known that getting a nose job would completely alter how I felt about myself. In fact, having that mindset was the exact opposite of how things actually went. I have since been more inspired and encouraged in making the other changes. I'm constantly getting compliments about how happy I look or that I'm glowing. You can see it in my eyes in the before and after photos! Aesthetically speaking, it's improved my appearance so much, but moreover it has changed how I feel about myself. Please do not wait. Dr. Kosins... you are nothing short of a professional, kind, and mindful artist/doctor. He listened to my wants of what I was looking to achieve. He gave me everything I was hoping for: smoother, smaller, thinner, and straight. Dr. Kosins followed up with me on the evening of my surgery on his drive home. I disturbed him during his dinner on a Friday night, always getting back to me with any concerns. I'm sorry, but I do not know a single doctor that is so attentive and goes out of their way to personally check-in. Dr. K, you deserve all the (good) wine in the world. Pain pills are great, but have you guys tried ice? It's pretty cool (pun intedend). Ice will be your new best friend and your greatest help. I used it continuously and became a professional pirate, watching things with one eye as I switched sides. I also tried to sleep/sit upright as much as possible. I made the Great Wall of China out of pillows and I truly believe this helped tremendously with swelling and any nasal discharge. Unless you're into immediate head tension and that's your thing, please don't pick anything up. Not even your dog poop. I tried to Matrix my way down to my phone charger cable. Just don't. After day 3, everything will be much better from there. A big great (virtual) hug and thank you to Judy. She will be your daily check-in nurse. She will be your answers, your reassurance, your explanations. Judy is helpful and comforting, an immediate boost of encouragement and relief to any concerns. Dr. Kosins performed a revision rhinoplasty on me last year and I'm absolutely thrilled with my results. I highly recommend him and wish I had found him for my first surgery! Was given different information from a couple of different people. The day of my consult I was booted off of zoom with no explanation and was told to just call the front desk, because they wouldn't be seeing me. I called and the front desk associate was immediately in my opinion, standoffish. I explained to her that I had believed I confirmed my appointment and was confused on why I had been told I wouldn't be seen, as I had taken time off work specifically for the appointment, and had been waiting months. She then tells me I had not confirmed. I explained that the link I went to said I had confirmed, so if she could check again, that would be great. She then explains I had not confirmed on their end. At this point I was aggravated as she told me he was booking out until april/may of next year for my next consult. I didn't see how that was fair when there was obviously just miscommunication or an error. She then puts me on hold and a different woman comes on the phone. She immediately confronted me and talked over me and told me it's not their fault that I did not confirm in time. I asked her what that meant because it sounded like she was saying that I had indeed confirmed and she said yes I had confirmed but "not in time"....Okay. So I was extremely confused as I had been told it was not showing that I had confirmed at all when I actually did. It felt like they were gaslighting me. I then told her no one had informed me of any of this information. No one called or reached out in any other manner to try and confirm. They apparently send one link one time and that's it. I didn't receive an email explaining anything when I made my consult, I've double checked several times before making this review. Apparently you have to confirm certain amount of time before your consult or the confirmation doesn't count, even if it's said it's gone through.... Which is never explained by staff. No updated email was sent to inform me my consult would be canceled so I had taken off a whole morning of work for nothing. I was obviously upset as everyone on the phone refused to take any blame for miscommunications that happened with me. I was made out to be a Karen by even the doctor himself, when I was simply frustrated and was met with attitude back. I rescheduled the consult because they had a sooner availability (thank god) but then the day of my consult it was ruined because the doctor himself confronted me on the zoom for being "horribly rude" to his scheduling ladies and that I needed to apologize to the woman I spoke with before he would operate on me? He talked over me as well. Moral of the story, the front desk women are rude and the doctor enables them. I never once acted like a Karen or raised my voice at these women. I was very gaslit. I will not be getting surgery here as it felt unsafe to do so after this. read more

I can officially say I have found my beautifying surgeon for life!! Dr Kosins is a MASTER at his craft, bar none. After spending 38 years of my life having a hard time breathing through my nose, I decided it was time to find a surgeon who could fix my issue (which I assumed was complex). Enter Dr Kosins. My initial consult with him was online, which did not bother me. I could tell right away he knew what my issue was just from talking with me. After a mental debate (because surgery is scary) I decided to pull the trigger and schedule it. I was informed the wait time was a year and a half. As much as I wanted my surgery done before my 40th birthday, it put me at ease knowing he was booked so far out as it meant he was highly sought after. His AMAZING staff (Risa specifically, thank you Risa) tried to get me in earlier for surgery a handful of times; she put me on a list to notify me when something opened up. It never worked out due to my work schedule but her efforts did not go unnoticed (she is so sweet)!! Surgery was finally approaching and I was nervous because A. This is my face and B. I had not met Dr Kosins in person. I was praying we meshed well and he gave me the knowledgeable and passionate vibes, more than he already had during our consult. Obviously he did, above and beyond, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this!! I could go on and on about every detail but to sum up.. I'm now 10 weeks post op and my nose is more than I could have hoped for! Not once did I specify to Dr Kosins what I wanted my nose to look like after surgery, I simply said I wanted to breathe better and have it look cosmetically straighter. He completed my requests beyond expectation! I'll recommend Dr Kosins to ALL my friends and family, for the rest of my life. His bedside manner is top notch, he's so easy to talk to. Dr. Kosins and Judy are the best! I got rhinoplasty done with Dr. Kosins about 3 weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I met with Dr. Kosins twice before surgery, and he made sure to go over what specifically I did not like about my nose. The day of surgery was pretty seamless itself. The only difficult part is not being able to breathe well through your nose, which gives some pretty bad dry mouth and sleeping. Aside from that, I never had much bruising of pain - which shocked me. During the whole recovery process, Judy was great and led me through everything. I wore the splint for 8 days, tape during the day for 3 days, and I'm now still taping my nose at night. As soon as the tape came off after the 11 days, my nose looked completely normal! It was a bit swollen, but really nothing noticeable. I am really happy with how everything turned out, and I already have recommended him to friends or anyone thinking about rhinoplasty!! read more

I have nothing but praise & love for this man, and for Judy.. I was traumatized by my primary surgery which left me with a collapsed, twisted Picasso "ish" nose. Which surprisingly didn't look overly awful but not surprisingly wasn't functioning well. During the pandemic I decided since I kept not liking my reflection and result to finally do something to fix my situation, so I waited for my consult and secured my spot. Then I waited, and I started to get cold feet & accept my current situation- (with the help of therapy and self love & care!) I think addressing any mental issues connected to a prior procedure is so important because the process can be mentally very taxing, changing one's face especially the nose area I have found challenging. I was aware that Kosins fixes noses not my brain! So wanted to be on stable ground. I'm thankful I took that first step it's imperative. I have to say that my results go so far beyond my expectations- I'm only a few weeks out from my surgery now and had planned to wait longer before posting my review but I'm already so happy I couldn't wait any longer to share with others who might also be struggling to decide who they can trust. This was the last missing link to get over my previous traumatic state I was in. It's traumatic to be put under thinking you'll see a result you very clearly communicated what you wanted & didn't want - and see that most of your nose is gone. Kosins was able to take my own rib and rebuild my nose. Not only that he gave me a lot of the characteristics of my old nose back which he never promised at all. I knew he wouldn't really know what exactly was possible until he got inside my nose & opened the hood of the car so to speak so I basically just said, "do the best you can to give me a normal structurally sound nose again. I wasn't even super worried if it fit my face well or not to be honest. I figured if it didn't I could just get a facelift soon. (Im 49 in a couple wks) Kosins gifted me with a nose that fits my face beautifully, helped my overall facial harmony and is beautiful and elegant. It looks like a primary instead of a revision, it's elegant & beautiful and I feel elegant & beautiful & worthy. For this I cannot thank him & his staff enough. Also Judy ... I'm writing this review 15 days post-op and so far I am so happy with my nose already! I cannot wait to see the final results once all of the swelling subsides but I can 100% say this was the best decision I could have made for myself. If you are anything like me and have been searching for years to find the right doctor to perform your rhinoplasty look no further. I have been unhappy with my nose since my late teenage years but with age and having a few injuries to my nose things took a turn for the worse (literally). I have had multiple consultations with other doctors and I could not bring myself to commit to any of them. I have anxiety and I am generally a very indecisive person...so you can imagine my feelings were heightened with something as serious as a rhinoplasty. But I can honestly say that as soon as I met with Dr. Kosins all of my worries were gone. I had booked my surgery after having my initial consultation with him via webcam due to covid and because I was going to be an out of state patient. My surgery date was scheduled for almost a year and a half after my consultation but it came much quicker than I expected and remember, good things are worth waiting for! His staff were kind and attentive from the beginning of my experience. Risa and Brooke answered all of my questions and always answered my emails and calls promptly. Being from the east coast I was nervous about the logistics of everything falling into place but it was very simple and wouldn't have gone as smoothly without the help from his entire team. When the big day came I went into the office to meet with Dr. Kosins in person to discuss my nose and goals.
