Andrea's Healthy Chicken is a hidden gem located in the city of El Monte, CA! I actually discovered this place through a Yelp recommendation, and I'll say that it is a good one! It's located off of Johnson next to the city hall. Parking is pretty much all on the street. I was craving some healthier eats so I decided to check the place out. I walked in and was greeted by Liz who is super friendly! I ended up getting myself a Pesto Chicken Sandwich, and one of the pressed juices in the refrigerator. The sandwich is pure deliciousness! It was made fresh, and was made with care and flavor! The restaurant itself is small with a few dining tables, but is extremely clean & cute to sit in! I'll definitely be back to try more food in the future!

A new year brings new beginnings. This year I committed myself to eating veggies with every meal. While I love the juice cleanse package because I get to try a bit of the everything. I find it much easier to order a half jug of the love verde juice weekly to drink instead of that second cup of coffee that I normally go for. I have noticed an overall improvement because I feel more hydrated overall. It has a great flavor if you don't mind ginger. Definitely has that zing to it if you love ginger this is the juice for you. Highly recommend supporting this shop! Staff is great. Customer service is on point. Ordering online is easy and if you have any questions they respond to you very quickly. The only minor issue I would fix is when you are placing an order for the half jug of juice online it doesn't list an option to choose the flavor of the juice. Other than that everything was great. Stay healthy!

Was in the area and did my Yelp research. Glad to drop in. I tried the avocado toast and Coconut Freeze smoothie. The avocado toast was perfectly flavored with a nice size of fried egg on top! My kiddo had the Post workout smoothie with almond milk, peanut butter, chocolate protein and berries. I loved my Coconut smoothie. Very refreshing. My daughter said her smoothie was good, but she tasted more of the almond milk. Overall, if I'm in the area I will try another smoothie or maybe an Acai bowl. Cashier was sweet and welcoming. It is very clean inside as well. Our bill was around $30 for 2 avocado toast and 2 smoothies.

Shoutout to this hidden gem-serving up the locals with fresh to order healthy foods and juices. I had the pleasure of trying a pesto chicken wrap and a charcoal lemonade. Both were delicious and had me craving a second wrap long after I finished. I believe I met the owner Andrea (not 100%, I forgot to ask her name) but she was working the counter the day I went in. She was the sweetest human and her genuine kindness stood out to me. The storefront is small but very cute inside. It is clean and welcoming. They had I believe one small table with chairs inside. Bonus: this shop hosts a stand for a local plant business and I left there with a miniature succulent for my sister. I can't wait to go back and try more items from the menu.

I have been attempting to find good healthy places near the city I work in. One day I yelped places near me and this place popped up, it was on my list to try. Today was the day to finally try this place out. Let me say that the min you walk in you are greeted with a smile and friendly customer service by the owner. She asked if we had any questions about the menu and also advised if we follow lent there are fish options. I decided to try the chicken pesto sandwich, which came in a combo. We had the choice of a pressed juice or tea and a bag of chips. This sandwich was packed with so much flavor. The ciabatta bread was nicely toasted the ratio of chicken was perfect. The sandwich contained ciabatta bread, pesto, spinach, chicken, mozzarella, tomato, and avocado. I will say very filling! I really enjoyed the refreshing taste of their papaya passion fruit tea, so much I got one to go. They have plenty of options and definitely will come back to try more of their menu. At this time they only had one table to sit at but the owner advised they will be having more seating options very soon. She told us we can order online for pick ups. As we sat there many people came by to pick up their orders, definitely a popular place. They offer wellness shots, pressed juices, açaí bowls. This place is very cute, and can't wait to see the finished product. Come check them out and help support small businesses!

I love this place. The staff was great, the decor is perfect and these juices aren't just healthy, they taste GREAT! This is hands down the best kept secret in the SGV! Tatiana seems very knowledgeable and is extremely helpful when came to deciding what juices to try and what the benefits were of each one. My family liked them so much that I had to come back a couple days later and buy enough for for a week. The Charcoal lemonade, Aloha Express, and tropical breeze are my favs so far! Also, the chicken pesto sandwich on ciabatta bread is AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT!

Love the juices! I was having problems with my knees swelling and after doing the 3 day detox I felt more energized and the swelling in my knee went down tremendously. I love that everything is freshly made every day, and all the ingredients are organic. Their freshly pressed juices are so good, and don't even get me started with their açaí bowls, they are hands down the BEST I have ever had. Wanted to start working out again. I didn't have any healthy groceries at home and decided to stop here for my breakfast and my post workout drink! I got the açaí bowl with banana and it was delicious. I went for the post workout smoothie, which contained berries, chocolate protein, almond milk and peanut butter! I was going to wait to drink it after I worked out, but since it was spilling a little bit I decided to lick that part off! OMG! Its sooo good ive already been twice in less than a week. The owners Tatiana, and her husband, are super sweet and helpful. They'll answer any questions you have. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. So far ive tried, the nina fresa smoothie, a sip of the avocado banana smoothie (which was what my bf got), the turmeric shot, the charcoal lemonade, and the acai berry bowl. I loved everything! My friend and I came to this small spot out here n El Monte for a post workout smoothie, it was the best decision ever! I got the avocado mango smoothie with vanilla protein. It was sooo delicious! I came to Andreas Healthy Kitchen It's a cute little trendy place, that has a friendly clean atmosphere. They were very welcoming. Im always on the run, so I had to pick up something healthy and quick. I purchased a ginger shot, a charcoal lemonade, and a chia bowl for lunch for a reasonable price. It had to be the best chia bowl in town! It was so delicious with granola, berries, and a dab a peanut butter. I felt full of energy right after, and ready to go back to work. My review is based on my personal experience and feelings based on these juices vs other juices I have had in the past (with comparison) these drinks are watered down. The owner whom's name is not Andrea is a very rude and unethical individual. Her husband seems to be humble on another hand. I'm assuming it's her "success" that's allowing her to act this way towards her clients. I'm not a fit or slim individual. I'm thick and have some weight to loose. When I came in to pick up my detox juices (which I drove over an hr to get to) she made me feel more uncomfortable than anyone I'd ever encountered. she stared me up and down. as I walked in "her restaurant/shop" I asked if can take pre workout with her juices. She chuckled in my face as she once again looked me up and down saying the ginger shot was my pre workout. read more

This review is on behalf of me & a coworker. My coworker has been a customer of hers for a few years now since she was selling from her house, so this isn't the first time we are detoxing together. We are currently doing the 3 day detox. Unfortunately, we ordered the 3 day FULL detox and only received part of our order. When I arrived to pick up my order from my friend she stated that she messaged the owner to inform her that she was short on our orders and was waiting for a response. The following day she informed me that we would get refunded the difference. It's a little upsetting the lack of customer service AHK has for her customer's especially when they have been supportive of her business from start. It isn't an easy task to dedicate to a 3 day detox but I would hope that she would be more supportive in her customer's goals and instead of looking for the easy way out of her mistake she could have offered to send an Uber/Lyft with the remaining part of our order. We understood it was in human error but there was no effort on her part. read more

Not too sure why or how this place has so many stellar reviews m. Honestly it's best if you go to Nekter or even Cancun Juice. Price point is very pricey and the quality of the juice is lacking, as if the juice isn't fresh. Tne açaí bowl was small with an odd texture. The charcoal lemonade was lemon juice with no charcoal taste at all. I wasn't greeted nor was I thanked for my purchase. Very bad taste in my mouth all around. read more

I did a 5 day detox and I can't wait to do it again. I did mine before the new year and it really helped with my digestive system. I didn't lose weight, that's not what I did it for I did it to just feel better in my tummy and it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to do a 3 day detox with the new stuff and ginger shots. My review is based on the original flavors, which were delicious! They were not hard to drink at all and the prices are the best in the area. The owner is super nice and a joy to talk to. I picked up at Rosemead because it's local to me but I believe she does travel to drop off different places. I found her on IG and updates frequently. read more

I go for the juices and stay for a few moments to chit chat. I love the friendliness & knowledge that Tatiana has. I love their ginger shots and acai bowls. I also did the 3 day detox that comes with 5 daily juices and at first I thought I'd still be hungry & grumpy but actually I was not. As a matter-of-fact, I was full and a happy camper. I come here every week to pick up my medicine. Which is the tumeric shots. That helps me with my asthma. I had it really bad and i been using tumeric shot regularly for over a month and my pulmonologist says my asthma is improving. I love the ginger shots too it prevents me from getting sick. Tatiana make good juices when i am in need of antioxidants and vitamins the juice is what i turn to. Her smoothies are great after a long day at work and it is a meal replacement. Sometimes i indulge and have one of her acai bowls. I love this place and every one that works with Tatiana is nice and helpful read more

I'd continuously hear chopping, pounding, washing, and blending from behind the counter. Guests order from the counter; Staff prepares the drink; and Guests pay at the end. My drink took two minutes and 12 seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed the Daily Detox Smoothie ($16 - 32oz). The ingredients felt distinct and very fresh. The cold smoothie flowed silkily. With my New Years resolution in full effect about losing weight, I contacted Andreas Healthy Kitchen and started my 5 day cleanse. I'm so glad I did. I feel less bloated and with more energy. My clothes fit better too. My favorite juices are "lets beet it" and the "charcoal lemonade" for the benefits it has in our body. They also have the best açaí bowls in El Monte.
