They wanted the same exact look and material as was used by a previous vendor. PPF not only found the same frame material, but they were able to perfectly replicate the mat board used for each frame. And the pricing? They beat our previous vendor by a couple grand. Can't complain at all about that. Only minor gripe is that ordering and billing is old school here. Invoices are hand written on NCR. Probably could use an upgrade in this regard. Would give customers a little peace of mind knowing your order isn't going to be lost. Other than that, would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience with Framed in Montrose…read more On short notice, my sisters tasked me with getting a photo of one of our younger brothers enlarged to 10x14 and framed. Sadly this framed photo was needed for his funeral. My wife and I met with Adam and explained our situation. We had one week before the services. Adam understood quickly our needs and promptly found the gold colored wood and matting that worked with the photo we had with us. That photo was on my phone. We selected the frame and matting and placed our order. For the actual photo, he sent us a few blocks away to Color Zone to meet with Garo for the enlargement of the photo. Within two hours, Garo had the enlarged photo that we then took to Adam. He promised us the framed photo in four days and actually had it ready in three. The framed photo was beautiful and was displayed prominently at his memorial services. Thank you Adam and his father, Frank for their kindness during a difficult time for me and my family.

We used to go to Michaels for framing our canvases and pictures, but this time we decided to…read moresupport a local framing business in our area. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We brought two canvases to be framed and were told they would be ready in about two weeks. When we picked them up and got home, we noticed that one of the frames was not level and had a noticeable bump/defect. We immediately returned it and asked them to fix it. What was most disappointing was the customer service. Instead of simply apologizing and taking responsibility, they seemed surprised that they had missed the problem and started blaming someone else. There was no genuine apology or even a simple "sorry" for the inconvenience. We were told it would be fixed the next day. After three days, we had to call them ourselves because nobody contacted us. The employee then told us it was ready. When I finally picked it up, the worker didn't even acknowledge the problem or offer an apology. For a business that charges a significant amount for framing, I expected much better quality control and, more importantly, much better customer service. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression. We tried to support a local business instead of going to a larger chain, but based on our experience, we will not be going back. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously, because a quality framing business should stand behind its work and treat customers with respect when something goes wrong.

I used to go to Crest Office Furniture when Taylor Hurst with Taylor Hurst as my salesperson - and…read morehe was great at helping me set up my office furniture. He left late this summer, so another salesman stepped in for my next project. Talk about a disaster: no follow-through, inaccurate information, upping an existing quote when none of the specs changed, long delays not only in performing but just in getting information and returning calls; reliance on email and never getting it "right" withoutt even thinking to call; and to top it all off, an owner who upon hearing what was going wrong just blew off the feedback entirely. But all is not lost: Taylor Hurst moved to MIchael E. Powers and Associates - which carries virtually all the same lines of office furniture AND as Taylor is showing me, can customize furniture and orders in ways that Crest either never could or never would bother to try. Powers now has my business - and I would recommend to Crest customers and to those looking for a great office furniture resource that you look to MIchael E. Powers - and Taylor - for great service and great results.
