There was no clean way of eating the sandwich as it was way overstuffed with onions, cilantro, pickled red onions, sliced brisket, and vietnamese pork roll (chả lụa). I love Rye bread and was happy that the sandwich was being served on Rye. The pho broth smelled very flavorful and I asked the employee how to eat the sandwich since I was afraid the ingredients would fall into the dip when dipping the sandwich. The way she eats it, is to use a spoon and scoop the broth over onto the sandwich, which was extremely helpful. Forewarning, this is an extremely delicious, but also very messy sandwich to eat. The sauce and broth kept dripping onto the tray, along with the fresh ingredients as well. Good thing the tray was lined with a paper placement. The Glendora Market is usually a little quiet during the week, as a lot of the surrounding communities are working families and commuters. The very short interaction I had with the staff was great, and it's obvious they care about their product and ensuring their customers are satisfied and happy with their food. After the ten-minute drive home, we unpacked our order (all very neatly and securely packed into an And Broth tote) and everything was still piping hot. The BBH Specialty was the first bite- this sandwich is no joke and should not be taken lightly. It's a hefty meal, and my fiancé was stuffed after finishing one half of the sandwich. It's flavorful and packed with some of the most tender meat we've had from a Vietnamese spot. The broth that comes with the BBH is a bun bo hue consommé of some sort, and it gives the level of spice a healthy boost. The Pho Tron, which is a dry noodle salad, is a huge bowl of amazing things! The combination of textures from the pickled carrots and radishes, red cabbage, lettuce, and the perfectly cooked noodles was so addictive. The rib eye was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth, and after mixing everything together with a healthy splash of the accompanying broth, was such a satisfying meal. The BYO pho was also very good, with a good portion of meatballs and shrimp. The broth is also very aromatic and flavorful, and for my toddler to eat a whole bowl of this was a feat in itself.
