Tried this place out on 9/20 for first time. Staff was nice. Its in a food court, so seating is where you can find it. Kinda loud in food court. The fooud court was clean. Got the spicy beef noodle soup. The broth was excellent super tasty. The beef tasted like old reheated beef. The tendon was good and the noodles were ok.

spicy one (unagi and beer were from other good spots within marketplace just fyi)

I got the spicy one, I literally can't think of better Pho I've ever had. It's just so damn good. Will be back! Noodles are a little thicker, flavor is very strong, multiple meats that are all so good. It really comes down to the flavor of the broth is next level.

Food is good. a little bit too pricey . the setting is inside a marketplace of Glendora. The price is really paying for the vibe the food and setting.

Pho Brisket on Rye Sandwich
Brian V.

This spot specializes in Vietnamese food and is located in a food hall in Glendora. The menu is primarily a variety of pho as well as some limited entree items and appetizers. But the reason this place popped up on my radar (been wanting to go since the Santa Ana location) was the Pho Brisket on Rye sandwich. I love me some pho and I love me a good deli style sandwich on rye. Glad to say I'm a big fan of this sandwich. Great flavors and love the dip aspect. The fry add on is very reasonably priced as well. It's a lot of good and I would say it would last almost two meals for a lot of people. Since it's in the food hall, the vibes here are casual and chill. I went on a weekday so not sure how busy everything gets on the weekend. Ordering is casual (not unlike a food court where you order at the counter and wait for your food) Would love to come back soon to try their pho and /or bun bo hue or even some of the other Viet classics.

We decided to try this spot, let me tell you the serving sizes are super generous and the flavor was really good. The spring rolls were freshly made. Definitely enjoyed this . The girl in the counter very sweet and attentive. Definitely will come back and try other items.

Build your own Pho: Noddles, tendon, brisket, wagyu steak
Desiree R.

Visit this spot at the Glendora Market, staff were super sweet and attentive. I got a build your own Pho bowl which gives you the option to pick 3 proteins. It was my first time having tendon and omg was it amazing! The broth and the selections of meat with all the sauces just made the soup more satisfying. The ambiance of the place was fresh and not over crowded! We did go on a Monday during lunch hours and it was fairly quiet.

classic spicy beef noodle: sliced beef shank, pork cha lua, beef tendon with vermicelli noodles = $19.99

I ate here twice in one week. The first time I visited, I tried the bún bò Huế ($19.99). It comes with a ton of meat: sliced beef shank, pork cha lua + beef tendon. For being in a food hall in Glendora, this was a pretty good bowl of bbh. It has rich umami broth though it could have stood for more vermicelli noodles. I was most surprised by the amount of beef tendon. In fact, I asked for a side of fish sauce to dip the tendon lol. On my second visit, I built my own phở bowl ($17.48). You get a choice of 3 meats, so I chose wagyu steak, wagyu eye round, and brisket. I thought the meat quality was great. The broth, on the other hand, was having an off night I think. It had a very strong star anise flavor and the broth could have use a little skimming. And Broth offers a variety of interesting phở variations that I'd like to try. I like that there are so many different Vietnamese dishes umbrella-ed under one establishment. I'll definitely be back.

Let me tell you that I was very satisfied with the Pho. They have "Specialty" Pho with set ingredients. Choose from the Bac (filet mignon), Saigon (4 meats), Santa Ana (meat lovers with 6 meats), Shank You (beef shank). Or, the Build Your Own, for $18 you can have 3 meats (Prime Rib Eye, Prime Brisket, Tendon, Meatballs, Tripe, Prime Filet Mignon, Beef Shank, or Shrimp). Each bowl includes Cilantro, Red Onion, and Vermicelli Rice Noodles. The broth is simmered for 24 hours with beef and bone marrow. The serving is hot and fresh. A large bowl is filling and delicious! They also make sandwiches, wraps (beef, chicken or shrimp), Chicken Wings, Spring Rolls, and salads. They are open 7 days a week, located in the Glendora Public Marketplace. There is plenty of open seating indoors and a covered patio area too. Sincerely, Rosemary

SGV Passport allowed us a free cup or was it their bowl of pho. Loved the soup flavor and was super hot! A bit spicy but would try this place again except it's a drive about 16 miles .

Brisket sandwich with side of fries
Lina T.

This brisket sandwich was so surprisingly delicious, I was speechless! They note on the menu it is their famous sandwich and I DEFINITELY understand why. The brisket is so tender and very ample, but it's not fatty, it's very lean. The pickled veggies add that nice crunch and balances out the flavors of the meat and light mayo. The cilantro and greens are classic Viet additions and greatly appreciated! Add some pickled jalapenos and that bite is just HEAVENLY! 10/10 (note: the beef consume was just ok haha it was nice to have on the side but I didn't like the dip like I normally do with things like birria tacos) THE FRIES! I love these fries! I asked for light seasoning and it was PERFECT. The crisp was perfection (lightly battered) and the inside was still nice and soft. I love me a good side of fries, this was a pleasant surprise! Now the Santa Ana pho was good, but I don't think I'd order it again. The flavors weren't unique enough for me to justify the hefty price tag. They were generous with the meat, but for nearly $30 after tax/tip, that's a bit too much for me. If you're a light eater, this could feed 2 people!! I would order a different pho next time though as the broth was pretty clean (didn't taste too salty) and they do offer extra noodles for free! Overall, I definitely plan to come back! Come check out this place and MAKE SURE to get the brisket sandwich!! Parking was great and it's inside the Glendora Public Market so there are plenty of options for your fam and friends. Seating was ample, space was modern, it was a great Sunday hang. Note: as with most food halls, it's self service for most things. Bus your own tray and I recommend bringing your own water or grab a drink at one of these places!

Tai Lan
Basel Z.

Stopped in on a chilly afternoon because my 5-year-old asked for phở. That request almost never comes out of her mouth, so we had to honor it before she changed her mind. & Broth is tucked inside the Glendora Public Market, easy to find once you're there. I ordered the Tai Lan, which is a fun cross between phở and a noodle salad. Sliced tender ribeye sits over garlic oil phở noodles on a bed of greens and fresh herbs, tossed with a shallot tamarind sauce, topped with crispy garlic, and served with a side of their 24-hour bone broth to sip or pour over. The ribeye was genuinely tender, the tamarind sauce had a nice tangy-sweet kick, and the crispy garlic tied it all together. Added some sriracha for a little more flavor and to give it a kick. Best phở I've ever had? No. But it's a clever modern take and I left very full and very happy, which is exactly what I needed. And if phở isn't your thing, the menu sprawls into wagyu phở, garlic noodles with filet, lomo saltado, sandwiches (which look amazing) and even Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam. Plenty to explore. This is now the first spot I'd send anyone to in the Glendora Public Market, and a real step up from the ramen place that used to be in the same space. Already plotting my return.

Came to Glendora Public Market on a Saturday night, and I wanted to try And Broth as I have heard about their sandwiches and pho. They were also very nice to let me sample their bun bo hue broth, which was very good and not too spicy. My girlfriend really liked their broth as well and thought it was authentic for Vietnamese standards. However, I decided to opt for the Pho Brisket sandwich as I didn't feel like eating any heat for the night. The pho brisket sandwich was pretty big, and the meat was very tender. The pho broth was rich and it is southern style too. I loved dipping the sandwich into the broth. The greens and picked onions were fresh, and the fries were crispy and the right amount of salt. I really enjoyed my meal and definitely next time I would like to try the bun bo hue style sandwich.

Came Friday after work and there weren't too many people. This was my first time trying this place and the first time going to the Glendora public market in general. It is a nice spot with plenty of food options. Plenty of seating inside around the different vendors. They also have restrooms so no worries on that. My friends and I wanted to try And Broth. After seeing a video of the pho brisket sandwich I was sold. It was so good and the soup paired so well. It does get messy so plan to grab a bunch of napkins.

I really wanted to love Couwami Asian Fusion!…read more The small, family run restaurant cozily braided into a strip mall one block south of the 210 FWY on Azusa had piqued my interest when I'd ferried an Uber Eats order from there on SAT. Interest captured by the vivid scents wafting from the kitchen and the mostly positive Yelp reviews, I boomeranged back 24 hrs later to place my maiden order. I went with Shanghai Egg Rolls and the Yang Chow Fried Rice, but I'd asked them to substitute more chicken and Chinese sausage for the shrimp, as your favorite Yelp correspondent has never enjoyed shrimp in any form other than cocktails. The staff is exceedingly nice!!! Owner/proprietor JOSEPH and his wife skate around as balls of determined energy, but with welcoming smiles affixed to their faces. The prices are pretty reasonable- My tab for a generous multi-protein entree and appetizer was $19.34 including taxes. But can we please have a conversation about the flavors? Couwami partisans! Tell me-- Did your faithful correspondent order the wrong items?! My Shanghai Egg Rolls were undercooked, limp and flaccid. The flavors were solid but the texture was so off-putting and uncharacteristic for a typical egg rolls, that I could barely get them down. The Yang Chow Fried Rice was also undercooked- I'm used to fried rice that has a toasted, beigy-yellow finish with chicken or pork cooked to at least medium to medium well doneness. My entree was, as the picture attest, a faint ivory hue and I actually hadta toss it in my skillet for five minutes to toast up the rice and finish cooking the tendrils of chicken, which were served medium rare, a micro-degree above pink but with the unpleasant mouth feel of sushi. Not exactly the way you'd expect your proteins to be prepared! I'm a huge believer in redemption. And judging by the hundreds of 4.2 level reviews on Yelp, I suppose its possible I just caught the cook on a bad night or ordered the WDT (Wrong Damn Thing)...twice! I'd normally accord two stars but will bump this up to three based on the utter civility and decency that Joseph and his staff extended to me.

It was lunchtime and wasn't too busy, so I was seated immediately. I noticed nobody was eating shabu shabu, which I thought was kinda weird. Then they handed me a brunch menu and I was confused lol. I almost got up and left because I specifically came for shabu shabu. Nothing against brunch, just wasn't what I was craving. Luckily, the waitress told me they could still serve shabu, so I was like bet, I'm down. I ordered the large ribeye set and also got the chicken curry katsu. The curry came out pretty quickly and was decent, but the portion was kinda small. I literally finished the whole thing before my shabu even came out. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the shabu portion. The meat itself was good, but that was about it. They didn't bring out the sauces or the rice that was supposed to come with the set. I also ordered a side of udon that never showed up. When the bill came, I had to ask them to remove the items that never arrived, but the servers weren't really on top of things that day. It was just one thing after another. Overall, what was supposed to be a nice Saturday lunch turned into a pretty stressful experience. The meat was good, but the long wait, missing items, and lack of attention from the staff really ruined it for me. I didn't even bother taking a photo of the shabu because I was already over it lol. Honestly, I should've gone somewhere else. Would not come back.
