He would find a way to word or express what was wrong with my vehicle, how much the parts would be, and what the estimated total would be with labor in an easy way for me to understand without making me feel like a moron (like some mechanics have done). He also helped me plan along like "well if you need to wait a week til next paycheck you could drive it but I wouldn't do more than that." Or when her frame gave out and he had to tell me that the cost to fix it would be more expensive than just getting another used car. At Vics you can really tell that Chris and his team put their customer's first and I'll keep going back to them for services. Check struts/suspension and call me with opinion, 4. a wheel alignment if it needed it from #3 . 5 oil change , waited my week and half. Took it there early at 8am on Monday . Wrote on a piece of paper and placed it on my dashboard before I turned my keys over stating the above things as well with my phone number in #3 for calling me about struts/suspension. I get a automated text around 1pm saying my cars done. So no phone call the whole time!Go pick my car up they tell me $450 and they replaced the ball joints tire roto and balance(but they didn't put balance on the receipt because they don't charge?) wheel alignment and oil change. I paid cash just upset cause a silent anxiety attack. I drove home 15 mins away on the throughway doing 55-65 with flow of traffic and my car/steering wheel/tires are shaking and vibrating worse. Immediately slowed down to 50 got home and parked it . Couldn't sleep even sent a text back to the automated number at 6am upset that I paid $450 for work I never authorized. Also seen balancing wasn't on the receipt . I called at 8am when they opened and said what happened to me and if they forgot to balance the tires because it's not on paperwork. And idk who but told me they don't charge for it so they don't put it on the receipt ( yet they're doing work to my car, not documenting it) and to drop it off and will take 40 mins.. brang it back for them to fix and when I dropped it off , the older gentleman on the left lift he didn't seem in the best mood and sorta just hung my keys up and kept working I told him I parked it on side street and left. I had to call them 3.5 hours later saying what's the deal and . They told me ohh yeah it's been done you can get it whenever. (Again didn't call me) Picked my car up didn't even close the door from my mom dropping me off and Chris the owner I believe told me yeah check it out we looked at it is seems fine we drove it around . You might've threw a weight idk how fast you drive, Take it for a spin back on throughway and let me know what you think . These gents are honest, no-pressure, and ethical. My friends were in a pinch for a quality used car after their Buick's frame cracked on a drive up from Myrtle Beach. They bought a gorgeous Lexus hybrid from Andre, owner of Buffalo Motor Works, and couldn't be happier. (A few of us are actually a little jealous of it!) They were so excited about it, they showed it off to all their extended family! Andre was exceedingly patient with our questions and throughout the whole process. (He also is quite knowledgeable about Buffalo history, he may have another calling as a tour guide!) After our positive experience with Andre, we took our other cars - a BMW & Prius, to Dan. I am not exaggerating when I say Dan saved us hundreds, and probably more, on the repairs. I know this bc I had a quote from another trusted mechanic, and Dan fixed the problem for $260 rather than $1,000+. He also did a fantastic job on the BMW repair (he's a certified BMW master technician I believe), at a fraction of the price it would cost elsewhere. And I'm not talking about a dealer's estimate - he beat the other garages. By a lot. Dan also caught a few non-working lights that the cops in my area love to stop you for, so I'm grateful for that as well. I also need to point out that, as a WOMAN, these guys were equally respectful to me as to a man. Unfortunately we are still in a time when some car dealers and mechanics overcharge women, etc., but not these guys. They also run a more peaceful place than other spaces. You'll see. My cars were always in California and baring the cars being under warranties, I only stuck with highly skilled BMW experts. I was really challenged a few years back bringing my 550i to Buffalo. I went through many shops after having motor blown- luckily it was due to a recall issue, flywheel wiped, auto brake system fried etc. A lot has happened since moving car here and could never find the right fit for this car until I came to Dragon's. Danny, the mechanic took special interest in this electrical issue I was having. I had already spent $2,700 to get electrical issues fixed and was told that I should go new BMW ABS system- $6 K + labor. I knew it was an electrical issue and decided to go a different path so I brought it here. I'm so glad I did. These guys had it for a few days, tried a number of things based off of what I told them and came back with a resolution that Danny found on a forum. Only true problem solvers with a passion for these cars would have dig up the problem and fix. In the end- it was a $500 fix vs. a $7k proposed repair and that would have not solved the problem. This is long winded but it's important to all who read this- do t be like me shopping for a good crew of mechanics over a few years because you love your car. Bring it here and know these guys will be my go-to's long into the future.
