Communication throughout the process was also great. I enjoyed that they have you try on a slip and take your measurements before bringing you dresses. This ensures they are closer to your actual size to give you a more realistic and accurate look of what the dress would look like on you. This is the only bridal salon who did this, which I really apprecaited it. The dress selection is more limited compared to some other bridal salons since they carry their own line, but the dresses they do have are beautiful and very true to the Grace Loves Lace style. I appreciated the follow-up communication with my measurements and favorite style/accessories. I ultimately went with a different dress, but I had a really lovely experience and appreciated how kind and helpful Alli was. I had been to places before but never alone as I wanted to focus on what I actually liked and Alli, along with the other women working, were extremely supportive! Highly recommend!

It was such a fun day and I wish I could bottle up the feeling! Jo made me feel incredibly comfortable and carefully listened to my likes and dislikes. There was absolutely no pressure to like or love anything. Like others, we started with measurements, my pre selected dresses, and additional ones that suit my body type and style. I got lucky with a discontinued dress that I 100% would have gone for even if it wasn't on sale. Everyone loved our pups and it made for an even sweeter experience. Thank you Jo and team for an amazing time!

When my MOH and I arrived, Whitney greeted us with huge hugs and smiles and her excitement to see us and work with us was infectious. She made us feel so comfortable, relaxed, and comfortable. Best of all, she helped me find THE dress and helped me figure out how we might be able to sort things out to make the price tag come more in my budget. She also reassured me about how fittings and alterations would work since I live across the US, and measured me before I left so I wouldn't have to come back in case I decided to buy a dress. I left the appointment so happy. No other boutique I've been to came close to being as fun and relaxed an experience. Other perks: I'm a non-traditional bride, and LM's gorgeous hand dyed pieces were perfect for a gal who doesn't want to look like a cake topper. The only drawback is that they don't allow you to take photos, but Whitney took photos on her ipad to help me compare the dresses at the end of the consultation.

Prior to my Leanne Marshall appointment, I had gone wedding dress shopping twice and had already surrendered to the fact that the "this is it" moment was something I was never going to have. I left previous wedding dress appointments feeling sad and defeated. I had even sworn off strapless dresses, I loved so much in photographs, because I thought they just didn't look good on me. Not only did Nathan open the showroom early to accommodate me, since I was only there visiting New York for the weekend and booked a last minute appointment, he made me feel more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. I had literally developed an anxiety over trying on wedding dresses. However, within seconds Nathan took all that anxiety away. After taking a quick look at me, he immediately pulled the Isabella dress, and said I had to try it on. Though I had sworn off strapless dresses, his confidence and conviction made me excited to give the dress a try. It was the first dress I tried on there, and when I looked in the mirror I could barely believe my eyes. I had never felt more beautiful. I felt like a classic Hollywood actress who belonged on the red carpet. I tried on more dresses. Though each of them impressed me, none cast the same spell as Isabella. Every girl deserves to have her moment- when the entire world stops and all eyes are on her. Nathan gives you that moment. He makes you feel like the star you truly are. Of course, none of this would be possible without Leanne Marshall's vision. I have since tried on other dresses I hoped would compare to hers, but no one else makes them the way she does. She understands what is most flattering on a woman's body, and it's the subtle but very important details she pays attention to that make a world of difference. Her dresses immediately make me feel like I have lost ten pounds! That's pretty magical if you ask me. I haven't purchased my wedding dress quite yet, but after all the dresses I have tried on I can tell you this. I will not be walking down the aisle in anything but a Leanne Marshall dress. Thank you Nathan for the wedding dress appointment of my dreams, and thank you Leanne for your beautiful creations.

After spending $800.00 on a gown for my sons wedding, the wrong size gown was ordered by the owner. She refused to give me a refund. I had to take another gown in its place. She refused to continue business with me. I went to a seamstress who informed me that the gown was not cut right and couldn't be fixed. I called Bossina Couture and literally begged her to correct her error, she refused. My husband went to the store and offered to pay more for another gown, the owner dismissed him and told him to leave. I paid cash for this gown!!!! This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering the high price of the gown. I expected better customer service and at least the ability to exchange or return an item that was clearly not as ordered. I would not recommend this store to anyone based on my experience. I met her at her immaculate studio in Fort Green and fell in love with her immediately. She was super sweet, very supportive, but most importantly, very very calm. It was my first time being a bridesmaid in a VERY important wedding (I'm talking million dollar Great Gatsby type wedding, 1,000 guests being held at a private museum in California). I was going to be surrounded by a bunch of people from high school that I hadn't seen in ages, so in a way it was like the high school reunion I never wanted. It was important that I made a good impression. But, not surprisingly, the bridesmaids dress was hideous and fit me awkwardly. I looked like a seal dressed in a pear costume. I needed this fixed, pronto. The problem was I had to alter the dress without it looking like it had been altered. The bride(zilla) had specifically said that she didn't want anyone to change or alter the dress. When I told Sandra this, she was very understanding and dealt with my neurosis very well. What I liked her her also, was that she was very confident. She told me exactly what needed to be done to make the dress fit my body type and complement my curves and height. She assured me she would be stealthy about the alterations and clean everything up seamlessly so no one would ever know I had changed it. Less than two weeks later I went to go pick up the dress. I slipped the dress on almost in slow motion because I was apprehensive about how the dress would look. The wedding was a week away, so if it didnt work out, I wouldnt have much time to fix it. But ALAS, the dress FIT LIKE A GLOVE and I stood there staring at myself in the mirror, amazed that it was the same dress! I couldn't believe it! Somehow she made it so the dress actually looked flattering! I kept asking her over and over how she did it, and she said she changed the waist line, took in some of the weird puffiness out on the sides etc etc. I was totally flabbergasted and so, so grateful. Now I could go to this wedding confident, not having to feel self conscious in a dress that made me look ridiculous. I just came back from the wedding this weekend. It was a beautiful but ridiculous affair (people spraying 200$ bottles of champaign all over the dance floor, fighter jets flying over the ceremony, opera singers, lots of taxidermy). As I hoped, no one expected a thing. I even got compliments on how cute the dress looked on me, which we all know is rare for a bridesmaid dress. So, point is, go to Sandra with you most delicate, prized wedding designs and dresses. This girl is professional and patient. I loved working with her. If I ever decide to get married, I'm going back to her.

Anna is nothing short of amazing! I bought my wedding dress off the rack at a bridal store and it…read morewasn't quite my size horizontally and vertically haha. Anna was able to modify the dress to make it look as if it was ordered specifically for my measurements. You couldn't tell any work had been done it. The dress was very intricate in detail with lots and lots of lace. Anna was able to adjust everything needed on the dress so that it was in its place proportional to where it should be on me. During my last fittings, I noticed that I couldn't get my arm high enough for my first dance (this is an off the shoulder dress and those are inherently limited in arm movement because of where the fabric goes around the arm), not only did she alter it to add a bit more fabric that completely matched the dress and allowed me the needed extra movement, Anna did this all in less than 24 hours as I needed the dress by the next day to take back with my to CA where my wedding was. In addition to this, I had brought new shoes to my last fitting, and of course they were a different height than the previous shoes I had used during my fittings. Was this a problem for Anna? Nope! She was able to shorten the dress as well for the next morning. Anna is not only a great seamstress/alterations expert, but also such a pleasure to have done business with! She truly cares about her clients and strives to provide excellent service with every interaction. She also did alterations for my mother's mother of the bride dress. This was a heavily beaded dress which needed to be let out and shortened. The work on this dress was more than my wedding dress I think. You could not tell any work had been done it. Anna even added some sleeves as we needed something to cover my mom's arms for the ceremony. I highly recommend Anna for any alteration work needed.
