We had to add a couple appointments in because I gained some weight, and she had to let the dress back out again. I was a bit worried, but she assured me it'd all be okay. And it was! She is so friendly and easy to talk to. She's super professional, and you can tell she really knows what she's doing. Her appointments are quick and efficient. And her studio space is so beautiful! She also walked two of my bridesmaids through how to fluff and bustle the dress. I think them having that practice round was essential. Because I had a strapless dress with only a few inches of fabric holding it up, I was a little nervous about the little hook in the back ripping off. She had reinforced it, but I was still slightly worried about it. That sucker stayed put all night! Irina is not necessarily the chattiest of people, but I don't think English is her first language, so it's important to be considerate of that when going in to her shop. Also, I was able to get in without making an appointment and within in hour of her shop closing, which she was very accommodating of!! The shop actually moved two houses down from its original location- white house with the main entrance and parking in the back (alley). It's pretty easy to find. There's a huge sign upfront on a busy street. Norma did a good job altering the dress I brought; however, I had a hard time communicating with her. She came across a bit rude due to the language barrier. She just had a different way of explaining things. Also, make sure to not hand her a mileage (earning) credit card, she will not accept it- she said she pays extra to get those types of cards processed. Also, you will have to call in to check when you can pick up your clothes. She does not make calls to remind her clients nor let them know when their clothes are ready. Norma has the skills but lacks major customer service.
