I would have to say that this is the best Auto Shop to which I have been! Honestly, it is kind of weird how honest and nice they are. LOL. I was referred to by a friend because I am from Chicago. So here are the HIGH POINTS... Honest... yep, I said it! MIRACLE in car fix it places. Respect. Just normal guys that did not treat me like a moron because I am a girl. Its like an older brother fixing your car... Here is the takeaway... Ollie's has plenty of business without my review, but they EARNED my business. I knew I needed new tires, as well... and other work. They did not try to bury me with all of it. The Owner (I think it was the owner), just gave me a breakdown and gave me a long timeline and priority list to fix absolute necessities on my car. I already knew about them, (well because I am awesome and love cars), so he wasn't feeding me a lot of BS. I am working with the timeline and the budget... Air is fixed, new tires for the winter so the family is safe, oil change... and so on! Strong work Ollie's and THANK YOU for not sucking like every other car place on Earth! LOLOLOL

The customer service is always amazing, the prices are excellent legitimately some of the best prices I've ever gotten, and the best part is that they're so professional throughout the entire service. I never feel uncomfortable or anxious with this place doing work on my cars. My only complain is that they're not open on weekends so a lot of the times I have to change my work schedule around the store hours but that's such a small downside for me. Back in 2022 I had a problem with my Saturn Ion that nobody could fix. No shop could find the part that was needed because Saturn went out of business so long ago. I went to well over 8 different shops to get the issue resolved. Garage 31 was the only shop that fixed the issue even though they had to jump through so many hoops to resolve the issue. It was actually a great test case since I had a good sense of the expected cost, yet it was a sufficient enough job to allow room for dishonesty should that have been the case. When I first came in looking for an estimate on a costly repair another shop had told me I needed, they said the rack didn't need replacing and the slight shimmy in the front end was a brake rotor wear problem. They didn't even charge me for the trouble-shooting. Been a customer ever since. They're not going to try to upsell you and tack-on battery, wipers, fancy flushes or repairs you don't need. If they have time and you're a regular customer and stop in with a flat or other quick problem to solve they usually can accommodate you or provide you with a timely date they can get to it. Or they'll tell you the repair could wait another month or two and then bring it in. Like most service places you need to call ahead and expect to wait a week or so for an appointment that may take the better part of the day to repair. You will probaby need to leave your car there for the day but if it's something quick you can wait for it. It's nice to have a shop where you feel like you're a neighbor and can chat with them about your car concerns.

I brought my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit in for new brakes and rotors. A few weeks…read morelater, my wife noticed the brakes were making a squealing noise during turns so I brought the vehicle back to have it inspected. I was charged $100 just for them to look into the issue. What was most concerning was learning that when the brakes and rotors were replaced a few weeks earlier, the shop chose to install lower-quality aftermarket parts rather than OEM parts. The original components on the vehicle were OEM, but instead of giving us the option to choose, the service advisor of Indian descent told me they used cheaper parts because OEM parts were "too expensive" and would make them less competitive. That decision was made without our knowledge or approval. When it comes to critical safety components like brakes, customers should always be given the option and informed about the quality of parts being installed. Choosing lower-quality parts to save money--without discussing it with the customer--raises serious concerns about quality, safety, and reliability. At the very least, we should have been given the option to replace the parts with OEM components or informed beforehand about what was being installed. Instead of rectifying their original mistake they shifted focus to other parts (pins) that still didn't address the issue at hand. Hence, I would not recommend if you're looking for honesty, quality, safety, and RELIABILITY.
