Probably my favorite ARCO. Gas Prices are usually the lowest of all ARCOs in the area, lots of pumps, seldom have to wait at all. a,p, inside has all the snack and drinks you would ever need, and the employees have always been helpful and friendly. This is now the closest gas station to my office. It's fairly new with several pumps - def PLUS!!! They also have a car wash onsite, which I haven't attempted just yet. It's a hit and miss here for it being busy. I pass it coming and going to work and at times it's super busy and others it's totally dead. I went during my lunch around 11a and it was packed. I'm going to avoid that time I suppose. School is now in session and now there's congestion and kids in the area. read more

This Arco is a little sketchy, but it's really affordable gas really close to the freeway on ramp, definitely my go to location. There is a car wash here good for a quick drive through job if you're desperate. I'm always a little nervous here at night, but nothing has ever happened so maybe I'm just overly cautious. The staffing is appropriate and the lighting is pretty good. All in all it's a gas station, and I use it! Not much else to share about it :) come here for cheap gas. read more

I have never seen any store steal money as egregiously as this one did. I purchased a few items. Stepped away from the register and realized they charged me $2 too much. Stepped back and went to the end of the line. A minute or two later I told them what happened. They refused to look at the receipt which clearly showed they charged me for the wrong item. The clerk's name is Divine and there was some guy there too who also refused to look. Divine lied and said I had left the store. They could have just refunded the items. The could have looked at the receipt and done some elementary school math or used their calculator. They could have looked at the price and the item still in my hand that they had sold me a minute earlier. Nope. They refused to do anything. I have been a loyal customer of Arco for 27 of the last 31 years and then they do this. All that just to steal $2. Unbelievable. This Arco outright steals money from its customers. It reflects badly on all Arcos. Update: A couple weeks later I was back in the area. The manager gave me the $2 they owed me and apologized for Divine. I up the rating one notch for that. read more

Lots of gas pumps, solid convenience store but the car wash is so slow. There are quicker hand wash places than this slow machine wash.

This review is specifically about the "new" car wash, a PSA if you will. If you are looking for a quick and easy wash, this is not the place for you. It takes FOREVER if there are people ahead of you. I spent almost an hour sitting in my car waiting to get my car washed (4 cars ahead of me), and once you are in line there is no getting out if someone gets in line behind you. Fresh gas is a must. I've tried Costco's and it just ain't fresh. It takes a real connoisseur to know good gas and this Arco's got it! Sure you have to use your ATM card. Sure you have to pay an extra $.45 per transaction. Sure most of the card readers are broken even though this is a new place. But, hey, we're friends aren't we. This joint has been many different names since I've been here, but they're getting better. Their car wash is new and really does a good job. It's not a hand wash/dry, just a machine, but I like it. They have a ton of food stuffs, drinks, etc. Like a 7-11, but brighter and more open. Overall it's what it is, but I can guarantee you more gas mileage. That's right, I said it.... I purchased an egregiously taxed nicotine device for almost $20 here last Friday. I left the establishment and opened the puff bar once I got home (an 18 minute drive away) only to discover that it was already completely dead and useless upon purchase despite being BRAND NEW. I called the store immediately and spoke to the kindest and most empathetic employee ever, Matthew. He suggested I return to the store and try to catch the manager, Jennifer, in order to receive a refund or an exchange for a non-defective product. Seemed totally respectable and reasonable enough; I drove the 18 minutes back again on Sunday and she was not there--she was also not in the store on Friday either. Matthew was working again and recalled my purchase and the phone call I made ; he texted Jennifer about the issue right away. She lazily responded by pushing the responsibility back onto me (the hard-earned paying customer) to use the insignificant scratch off code on the back of the device box to contact the actual assembly manufacturer for help. I stepped into my car and did just that... the website has no contact info whatsoever and simply serves to validate that the device is INDEED an authentic one (as there are evidently many fake ones on the market). I returned into the store and showed evidence to Matthew that I attempted to contact the manufacturer and it was a fucking dead end. Matthew relayed this info to the manager via text and despite all of this effort she again insisted that it was "not possible to complete an exchange or to receive a refund." My request was totally within the normal bounds of transaction integrity. Taking my money and not providing the service.... IS CALLED STEALING! I WILL NOW BE CALLING THE CORPORATE ARCO AMPM Company and making a formal complaint against Jennifer for selling defective e-merchandise, obviously not knowing enough about the inventory she supposedly manages, and being flat out too lazy and unbothered to assist a customer with a legitimate service request. Never come here! Except for Matthew.... Matthew was the best! The one star I'm giving is for him ONLY. So helpful, attentive, and solution-focused. Such a nice guy! read more

Sorry, even the Arco by my house is better than this one, and that's saying a lot, because the one by my house is among the lowest rated in the area! First of all, if your pumps are broken, you might want to put a sign up. Lines at that location get extremely busy, and it doesn't help when some poor elderly lady is trying in vain to make her card work and pump her gas. I finally had to go over and help her, and then I went back to my car and out a note up on the pump myself. You're welcome, ARCO. Another issue is that there seems to be an incredibly dubious practice among ARCO stations that they advertise a price per gallon that makes the consumer think they're getting a good deal (a total gimmick that psychologists have verified works) when they then add a 35 cent or 45 cent (each location varies and this is a practice singular to ARCO when it comes to big gas stations - most are honest and tell you on the big sign up front that there are different prices for cash and card purchase). Many stations specify that if you use a debit card (which immediately gives them the money, and does not charge the surcharge that the credit card companies charge when you use credit as the method of payment)...so they're charging you for a charge they aren't even paying themselves...it's a slimy practice, and it's no good for consumers who are duped into thinking they're getting a "deal at a few cents a gallon off, when they are actually going to be charged more in the long run...unless they're filling a 30 gallon tank from Empty! I won't speak too badly about employees that are likely abused with great frequency by customers, and they're making barely minimum wage to put up with that behavior, but hey - remember that not all people are jerks...not even when you're treating them like they are before they get a change to be! I'm with you...I would hate to have a job where I felt underpaid, overworked, and under appreciated- but until I do something that insinuates I'm going to be like anyone else who's ever come in and been abusive, do yourself and the universe a favor and don't throw out negative energy as a pre-emptive measure. It's not the way to elicit friendly interactions with your customers, and it's just not a nice way for a human being to act. Personally, I'm not fooled by the trickery of the signs, and I worked at a station once upon a time that had similarly borderline unethical business practices. Be clear about those excessive "surcharges" and maybe people will realize that you're not the cheapest place in town, but you are certainly the best at making people believe you are. read more

I walked to the ARCO AM PM about a month ago. It was very late almost 11pm cause the local stores were closed. The only thing open was THE ARCO AM PM where I met Robert. I was in awe and appreciative of Robert's help and assistance to not only take my purchase but Robert was very attentive to my presence and needs. The need were Robert's watchful eyes and ears due to the late night homeless people who seemed to be stoking me asking for money or help that I couldn't give. I also decided to take a cab back home and for the safety of my life. Robert let me use the bathroom the telephone and whatever I needed while he also attended to the homeless people who seemed to rely on and appreciate Robert not judging them hence being also a great assistance to them without reservation nor fear whatsoever. I was not only impressed with Robert but was touched at Robert's ability to be a fearless late night warrior who did his job one handedly and professionalism towards everyone, in our public-at-large Thanks SOOO much Robert Gage. I know this has taken ages but health complications prevented me from YELPING FOR YOU ALL THIS TIME. I've been sooo bothered cause our Word sometimes is worth more than the dollar bill. This store officially gained my loyalty to Arco. They always have the cheapest gas in the area and today the attendant gave me free coffee and like 7 punches on my coffee card because I didn't know they had a rewards program. It's going the extra mile like they do that makes them the best gas company in California. Plenty of pumps, restrooms are usually cool, and plenty of reasonably priced goods inside. So why go anywhere else? read more
