Three stars because of the car wash, two stars back because the manager made it right. This is your typical AMPM. The store is bright and clean, as are the restrooms. The people are friendly. It's your typical convenience store, decent sized, lots of stuff I like the hot food section, the coffee is good, and they have a good selection of drinks on the soda fountain. The gas prices are very reasonable. If you get the "earnify" app, you get five cents a gallon off every time you get gas, plus, you can earn points for more gas, discounts or other stuff in the store. I paid nine bucks for a basic car wash. I drive into the car wash, and I realize that it's a touch -free car wash. I had a feeling it was going to be a problem, because my car was pretty dirty. I go through the car wash, and when I come out, there's still a lot of white spots all over my car from before. I go in and speak to the manager, I wish I could have gotten her name, but she offered me a refund or a rewash. I decided to try the rewash, she upgraded me to the top end wash, and I go back thru the car wash. I come out of the car wash, and the car wasn't much better than the first time through. I go back and speak to the manager again, she apologizes, and gives me a refund for my original wash. She took care of the problem without any hesitation. I wouldn't use this car wash again, because I don't have a lot of luck with touch-free car washes. Everything else, this store is great. Thank you! read more

I have been going to this gas station for years to fill gas never had issue, today came across an attendant Kamal he was fairly argumentative. He put the money on a wrong pump but insisted and argued that I gave the wrong pump by giving me accusatory look and throwing hands in air. I had to apologize before he would make the change. It would be nice if ownership helped employees understand the meaning of customer service. read more

Not great - Not bad I have stopped at this location a few times. They have about everything you need for a quick stop. Gas, car wash and a store. I do not use the gas pumps anymore; they always seem to have payment or mechanical problems. The store is a standard AM/PM with a bit of everything. Service could be better. The counter staff are disinterested at best. The standard response to any question is "uhh, I'm not sure". I have received this response on more than one occasion whether asking about the gas pumps or if they had more napkins. But, they have never been overly rude. Okay for a basic stop. read more

My 16-year-old kid and his friend save their money to go do something this weekend. Upon inserting their cash into Arcos payment system, no credit was given to them. They pleaded with the attendance who did absolutely nothing but write a note for their manager to look at on Monday. I made them call the manager who does not work on weekends and is unwilling to help, either. The reason they gave was because they don't trust people and need to verify, via the camera system, that my son and his friend were not lying. You are ridiculous company and I will no longer get gas there and will forbid my son to use your station. I shouldn't be surprised as your average is 2 1/2 stars. read more

The Folsom am/pm gas station has gone from good (4 stars) to poor since they started their cash or credit/debit pricing. Simultaneously some pinhead in their corporate office also decided to spend a substantial amount of money on a new gas price sign that is totally confusing with 8 different posted prices. Finally, they are not as price competitive as they once were with numerous competitor stations along Greenback & Madison avenues selling below their prices. Summary: once a major gas asset to Folsom has taken a big step backwards. To bad for the community! read more

SCAMMERS: Only go to this location if you want your Debit card security compromised. Placed my debit card in the reader on the pump, then could not pull the card out. Went inside to tell the staff what happened. They seemed like it was no big deal and were not able to explain why this happened. They did something on the computer and said the card should be free. Had trouble with the pump so I went inside to make sure I wasn't charged for anything. Walked in and CYNTHIA made sure she finished her text before she assisted me. I told her there was problem at pump 3 and before I could finish she said NO. I said I'm telling you I had a problem with pump 3. She said oh I you were asking a question. I said no I'm telling you what happened and wanted to make sure I wasn't charged. She looked and said she could see that I tried but I wasn't charged. She then suggested that it might have been the nozzle was positioned wrong. I thought fair enough. But next time pay attention to the customer and listen before you give attitude. I don't need attitude when I'm spending money. read more

I no longer buy gas from this Am Pm b/c I've never been able to get my credit card to work. It's always asking me to authorize an ATM fee. Whatev. The only reason I like this Am Pm is for their delicious lunch items. My go-to items are the Rib Sandwich and Chicken Sandwich. If anyone who works there is reading this MAKE MORE RIB SANDWICHES! They have a glut of hot dogs, burgers, pizzas, but never make enough rib sandwiches. And now Am Pm is making these nasty Torta things. Psssh, please. They suck. read more

This location charges for $.59 for a few cubes of ice. It's was a hot day and just needed a few cubes of ice to cool down some water for my dog. I even brought in my own cup. I brought my kids here for hot chocolates. Unfortunately, my 6 year old dropped hers on the sidewalk as we left. We came back in and told the manager what happened and she said she'd have to charge us for a refill because it wasn't her fault. I will never go back. read more

Hmm .. First review.. Well I think this Arco deserves a shout out. I frequent Arco let's face it because it has the cheapest fuel in town. However this one strikes me as a bit different than most. It's extremely clean for one. The ladies at the register are always cool and the coffee is always hot. Everything else is pretty much par for the course when it comes to an AmPm. The absolute coolest thing about this gas station is the extremely loud rock and roll that just bellows through the fueling area. Makes me feel good about being there and I actually look forward to going to that one because of it. As I don't agree with a few payment rules at all Arcos (charge to use your card and don't take American Express ) I do tip my hat to the clever owners for thinking out of the box and providing a positive atmosphere through music. This gas station gets 3 stars and will remain my favorite place to fuel up in Folsom. read more
