    Boatswain American IPA

Like this location of Joe's because of the spacious and ample parking lot. Came here to simply browse with nothing in mind in particular. Ended up meeting someone who was cleaning the shelves of "Boatswain American IPA" that got me wondering. He was nice enough to leave one pack for me to try and so I did. An exceptional IPA overall and the price makes it even a more attractive. I'm a fan and would return just for this alone.

Trader Joe's is always such a fun experience! It is typically busy both in the store and the parking lot. There are fun seasonal items such as plants and food items. The butternut squash Mac and cheese is back for fall and it is stock up time! Love that the prices are reasonable and that there is a section highlighting new items.

Still obsessed. Enjoy all the product line. Frozen foods and snacks are spot on for us. Enjoy the staff and their helpfulness and friendliness. Will continue to shop and love our TJ's.

11/20/21 Happy Sunday my Yelp fambam! Are you ready for Thanksgiving?!! 2020 was a blurrrr for me and 2021 is now almost over! Insane times! This location isn't much different than the usual TJ chains. I came by today for a few Thanksgiving essentials. I was hoping they had a turkey brine kit but was surprised they didn't have it. I decided to try Turkey Gravy and came across these other truffle goodies! I personally really like Trader Joe's! Usually there are great employees and I've always liked how bright and colorful the store is. Wishing everyone a Happy, Safe and GREAT Yelping Thanksgiving!

I was waiting for my husband to be released from Mercy Hospital in Folsom and had some time to spare. Realizing I had absolutely nothing to eat in our house, I thought I'd run into Trader Joe's to grab a few quick things to prepare for us to eat while he's recovering at home. As always, TJs had some great options, so I grabbed about 40-something dollars worth of stuff and headed to the checkout. I don't know if I looked distressed or the checkout clerk was just ultra friendly, be he asked me "any fun plans for the holiday?" And I told him I was headed over to pick my husband up from the hospital after having a mild stroke. He and the young lady bagging my groceries said they hoped me felt better soon. And she finished bagging the groceries, the clerk tells her he will be right back. I grab my groceries and start making my way out the door when he runs up to me with a bouquet of gorgeous flowers and tells me they are from our friends at Trader Joe's and to tell my husband they wish him a speedy recovery. I was moved to tears. Literal tears streaming down my face over a paper bag filled with frozen orange chicken. That small gesture gave touched my heart in such a way that it prompted me to write this review. I only wish I had gotten this young man's name so I could include it in the review and to call his manager and tell him what an amazing employee he has there.

Love the tie-dye Tuesday shirt Matt!

Every time I find something I like, the next it's not it is either seasonal or discontinued. I probably won't shop there anymore.

This particular Nugget has a fairly large upstairs patio area with tables, chairs, restrooms, water bottle refilling station, microwave, etc. Lots of grocery stores in this area have a downstairs lounge area, but being upstairs (but still accessible via a ramp and elevators) gives it an extra edge. Plus you can't beat that view of the Mercedes dealership. The salad selection is some of the best I've seen anywhere, although they are very pricey at about $10/8oz (which is why I haven't actually tried one). I came here in search of some tampons that I couldn't find at Target, and was thrilled that this store carried small boxes of single sizes, versus the huge multipacks they had at Target. Thank you Nugget for doing a better job at procuring feminine health items than Target. As a bonus this store (like many others) is within walking distance of the wetland preserve.

I remember visiting Fork Lift like 10 years ago and really liking it - it is a sister store of Nugget Market I believe. The inside was massive, clean and well organized. Brought to you by the family-owned, upscale and very successful, Nugget chain of grocery stores. I became very well acquainted with the Nugget markets living in Davis. There were two stores not far from each other and they were always packed. I shopped at the smaller one as it was closer to my home. It is literally the only place I ever shopped for food.I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. When I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago... thank goodness there was a big and beautiful Nugget a mile and half away. My point is all Nugget markets are quite incredible. Nothing compares to them. Excellent quality, in-house prepared food, bakery... TDF, floral, meat department, liquor, and fabulous fresh produce section. Fork Lift is to me like the Nugget markets on steroids! I was astonished at the size of the store and cool inside architectural design. Yes it is hip! Super clean, well stocked in everything. Organized. Quite impressive. And the same great departments as I mentioned above that are available in the Nugget stores are right here too! The chatter is that the Fork Lift offers many discounted prices but honestly, I never see them. Then I heard the lower priced items are strategically placed in and around the store. Who knows. I enjoy taking the drive up the hill to Cameron Park occasionally just to wander around and marvel at this shopping mecca! Easy exit off the freeway and fast to find. Plenty of parking. Worth checking out if you are in the area or on the way to or returning from Tahoe. Did I mention super duper customer service!?! And weekly specials!
