Spice Everything But Bagel ($1.99) x2
    Elena N.

Date: Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 Time: around 7:15pm *Bread Multigrain Sprouted ($4.49) *Spice Everything But Bagel ($1.99) x2 The hubby and were going to pick up dinner in the area. Since there was a TJ's around, I wanted to drop by and grab some everything bagel seasoning. This TJ's is a smaller one, but we found the last two bottles. I needed some bread as well and picked up the one above. I typically like the thinner sliced bread, but they didn't have any. Check in and out was quick and easy. I was hoping to buy more bottles of seasoning, but at least I found the two. REVIEW #3935

Very busy today..we were in the area so stopped in for a few things. I wanted to check out their small shopping bags they are always in the news all the time. But of course they were sold out as soon as they are released. They were sold out of course. We found a few new things to try out. Sour dough crackers and some ginger cookies. We find some deals..they produce always looks very fresh. We talked with very nice customers and employees.

Like this location of Joe's because of the spacious and ample parking lot. Came here to simply browse with nothing in mind in particular. Ended up meeting someone who was cleaning the shelves of "Boatswain American IPA" that got me wondering. He was nice enough to leave one pack for me to try and so I did. An exceptional IPA overall and the price makes it even a more attractive. I'm a fan and would return just for this alone.

Trader Joe's is always such a fun experience! It is typically busy both in the store and the parking lot. There are fun seasonal items such as plants and food items. The butternut squash Mac and cheese is back for fall and it is stock up time! Love that the prices are reasonable and that there is a section highlighting new items.

Still obsessed. Enjoy all the product line. Frozen foods and snacks are spot on for us. Enjoy the staff and their helpfulness and friendliness. Will continue to shop and love our TJ's.

11/20/21 Happy Sunday my Yelp fambam! Are you ready for Thanksgiving?!! 2020 was a blurrrr for me and 2021 is now almost over! Insane times! This location isn't much different than the usual TJ chains. I came by today for a few Thanksgiving essentials. I was hoping they had a turkey brine kit but was surprised they didn't have it. I decided to try Turkey Gravy and came across these other truffle goodies! I personally really like Trader Joe's! Usually there are great employees and I've always liked how bright and colorful the store is. Wishing everyone a Happy, Safe and GREAT Yelping Thanksgiving!

Love the tie-dye Tuesday shirt Matt!

In the rare occasions when I'm not able to find something I wanted, it's because it's something so obscure I wind up having to either ordering it online or making a trip to some hidden specialty store in the Bay Area to get it. I've been shopping here for a couple of years. There's another grocery store that's five minutes from my house, but I drive the 20 minutes to shop here because the overall experience is so much better. Today's trip really stood out to me because of a couple things... while I was at the deli waiting for the clerk to work on my order, at least three other employees came up to me and asked if I was being helped. I've been to other stores where I've stood at a counter for literally 5 minutes, watching employees going out of their way to not acknowledge me. That never happens here. Then I was really taken aback by how the peppers and mushrooms were displayed. The fact that whoever stocked these mushrooms took the time to turn every mushroom cap side up and arranged all the portobellos the way they are speaks to a dedication to quality work. You can tell that in this store, nobody half-asses anything, and the employees take pride in what they do.

This particular Nugget has a fairly large upstairs patio area with tables, chairs, restrooms, water bottle refilling station, microwave, etc. Lots of grocery stores in this area have a downstairs lounge area, but being upstairs (but still accessible via a ramp and elevators) gives it an extra edge. Plus you can't beat that view of the Mercedes dealership. The salad selection is some of the best I've seen anywhere, although they are very pricey at about $10/8oz (which is why I haven't actually tried one). I came here in search of some tampons that I couldn't find at Target, and was thrilled that this store carried small boxes of single sizes, versus the huge multipacks they had at Target. Thank you Nugget for doing a better job at procuring feminine health items than Target. As a bonus this store (like many others) is within walking distance of the wetland preserve.

Brought to you by the family-owned, upscale and very successful, Nugget chain of grocery stores. I became very well acquainted with the Nugget markets living in Davis. It is literally the only place I ever shopped for food.I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. When I moved to El Dorado Hills 5 years ago... thank goodness there was a big and beautiful Nugget a mile and half away. My point is all Nugget markets are quite incredible. Nothing compares to them. Excellent quality, in-house prepared food, bakery... TDF, floral, meat department, liquor, and fabulous fresh produce section. Fork Lift is to me like the Nugget markets on steroids! I was astonished at the size of the store and cool inside architectural design. Yes it is hip! Super clean, well stocked in everything. Organized. Quite impressive. And the same great departments as I mentioned above that are available in the Nugget stores are right here too! The chatter is that the Fork Lift offers many discounted prices but honestly, I never see them. Then I heard the lower priced items are strategically placed in and around the store. Who knows. I enjoy taking the drive up the hill to Cameron Park occasionally just to wander around and marvel at this shopping mecca! Easy exit off the freeway and fast to find. Plenty of parking. Worth checking out if you are in the area or on the way to or returning from Tahoe. Did I mention super duper customer service!?! And weekly specials! I've been to at least two dozen different Asian grocery stores across the Pacific Northwest, and this is one of the cleanest. I was so confused by this store's low Yelp rating that I had to go and read all the one star reviews, and I have to say, they're honestly all petty. One of them actually shows a picture of a perfectly okay apple with the caption "rotten apple." While it is a bit on the small side for a "supermarket," they seem to have all the normal staple items. Since my last review, they've started carrying kaffir lime leaves, and have added pre-packaged meals to their hot dim sum line. As of my last visit (April 2026), it was $14.99 for a self serve 2 item lunch combo with rice and/or chow mein.

I wanted to get some food at the hot deli, cause I remember them having some really good food for not that much money. I get here around 11 am mid week. I wanted to check out the bakery as well and maybe get some custard pies I remember them having. The selections at the deli were missing quite a few items and the food didn't look that fresh. The prices sure went up too. To fill a regular clam shell box was like $15 now! I wanted some of those deep fried smelts, but they said that was only on the weekends. There weren't any fried chicken drumstick deals either like before. They did have wings though, so I got some of those stuffed into my box, along with some short cut spareribs and a little fried rice. lot of empty trays at the deli. Tasting the box of food, it really wasn't that good either, not like before. I was disappointed. The BBQ pork bun selection was not much, just the steamed ones and no baked ones. I did get some roast duck since I was there. I had them cut it up and put it in two boxes. Over at the bakery, I did see these Portuguese Egg Tarts, they looked similar to the Chinese egg tarts, but more browned on top. They came in a box and I was told they just baked them today. I got one box. I'll say, this 99 Ranch location is much smaller than most of the other locations and the selection at the deli is smaller too, I guess they just don't get the foot traffic like the Bay Area or Sacramento proper. If you near one of the other locations, I'd go there. Not as much selection here.
