Here's an Update: After four weeks of running perfectly after their repair, the AC quit again! I called and left a message on a Friday evening after 5pm, when they were closed for the weekend, I got a call back on Saturday, they were out on Monday and found another small leak and repaired it. Professional, skilled, dependable. Thank you guys and Tina at Ample Air!

THOROUGH EVALUATION We met with the following specialists: SEAN O'HARA (AC repair) - AC stopped emitting cool air. Fixed issue w/ filter repair. ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. We can't wait for our longstanding issues to be behind us, and we anticipate leaving an updated review once the work is complete!

My air conditioner went out years ago and they changed it out. At the time they also wanted to do my furnace I told them no which my furnace was still good for another couple years and then they came back changed a part on it saving me a little money but the. It went out so I had to shell up the big bucks for it. The value here I do think is better than other places but I wish they would work on the upsell a little bit because times are tough and we don't need that but I do trust this company for things I do need.

The first time, the technician had placed a sticker on our AC unit, so when cold air stopped flowing this time, it was easy to call them. The process was effortless: customer service answered right away, their system recognized my address from my phone number, and within an hour (on a Sunday evening!) they dispatched two technicians. I also appreciated getting a text notification with their names and photo IDs so I knew exactly who was coming. The diagnosis wasn't the news we wanted to hear -- it was time to replace our 12-year-old AC unit. We had already refurbished the motor last year, which gave us one more season, but it had truly reached the end of its life. What I appreciated most was that we never felt pressured into buying a new unit, even though it was recommended. The technicians walked us through our options: spending over half the cost on a refurbished unit with no warranty or going with a brand-new system that came with one. After thoughtful discussion, both between my husband and me, and with the technicians, we decided to move forward with MSP's recommendation and financed the new unit. The paperwork process was smooth, and they were even able to secure an installation appointment for the very next day. As a thoughtful touch, they even offered us a hotel stay to avoid the heat, though we decided to wait. The next day, two installation crews arrived right on time. One worked in the attic while the other installed the unit outside. Both were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout. The real reason I give MSP five stars, beyond their product and service, is how they handled aftercare -- and the glimpse I got of how well they treat their employees. After installation, my husband noticed the duct bracket hadn't been done exactly as he'd requested. Since we have a Belgian Malinois who chews on everything, he wanted the cables covered with a custom metal bracket, which had been discussed with the technician. Clearly, there was a miscommunication. I called the next day and spoke with Bella (the manager, I believe). She explained that this was technically outside their scope, but she listened carefully, acknowledged the issue, and immediately sent her crew back the same day to resolve it. I appreciated that she didn't get defensive, but instead valued our input and honored our trust. Finally, I want to applaud MSP for the way they treat their employees. All four team members who helped us mentioned how much they enjoy working there, and it shows in the quality of their work. On top of that, we were thrilled to learn that the X Series unit we purchased is the kind of product that could be sold at a much higher rate through a corporate AC company (according to one technician who used to work at a corporate), but MSP offered it at a fair and reasonable price. That kind of transparency and value is rare. I truly believe happy employees and fair business practices translate into happy customers, and this company is proof of that. Among the options, Anthony did offer a good price for CARRIER - 4.0 TON 18 SEER VARIABLE SPEED HEAT PUMP AND MULTI STAGE FURNACE. I did a research about this particular unit and decided to go with it rather than going with other brands like AC Pro and Daikin where they asked for about the same price. Anthony also matched the 12 years warranty offer like Daikin. 24 months payment with 0 interest was also another good deal. The crew Jose, Ethan and Oscar showed up on time and completed the installation in one and a half day. The old unit was removed and platform was inspected before putting the new one in place.they also installed a new breaker box for safety. The finished looks a lot nicer than my 20 years old unit. Overall I'm happy with the service and can't wait to seeing how it gets us in summer.

The only minor thing I noticed was that there were a few small bits of trash left behind--nothing major at all, just little things here and there. Honestly, it didn't take away much from the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Diamond Air Service and would definitely use them again!

My AC is working perfect, him and his team were pleasant and gave me a quick review and suggestions on how to keep it working good, and told me any issues they will be out if not the same day, then the next day......And to top it off he would be coming out every year to give it a tuneup and fix any issues they might find, wasn't expecting that,........His calming tone and his work ethic was amazing I already told 2 friends of mind who are having issues they need to call him immediately....If I could give him more than 5 stars I would.

He offered to have someone there the next day. I told him I wasn't available, but the next day would do. Lo and behold my AC died that next day. I told Chris about what was going on and he had Eddie show up promptly at 8 AM the next day to sort out the issue. The motor in my compressor finally croaked. (My unit was 16 yrs old. It was time). Eddie offered to replace the motor right then and there. After thinking about it, and talking with Eddie about the condition of the rest of the components, we got Chris on the line to discuss options on a new unit. We discussed energy efficiency w/ solar vs costs. I felt zero pressure to buy any particular unit since I felt they were presenting me the facts and letting me make my own informed decision on what was best for us and what I knew I could afford. After deciding, Eddie and Chris rolled back out the next morning to install the new unit. Chris and Eddie were very polite and very easy to talk to. They were very conscious and considerate of our home and flooring as they brought equipment through the house and into the attic in our bedroom closet. They got the system up and running. Checked the heat and the AC that everything was working properly. They cleaned up so well that it looked cleaner than we had it before. They said to call if any issues and they would be back in a year to maintain everything. Again, Very informative. Super friendly and personable. Glad to recommend them. Our dogs loved them too.
