They could have sold me a bill of goods instead they were honest and total professionals. The first time they were nice and professional. But after I called them again, that my unit was not blowing air again. They did not even want to come out and see it. He just gave me a price over the phone to repair the whole thing, he pretty much told me that it was my fault it stop working again for being cheap and only replacing the capacitor, which I found out they cost 23$ but still charged me like 300$ to change it So disappointed in this family owned company for taking advantage when people that don't know about A/c units calls for service. read more

I haven't serviced my air/heat system in some time and I was worried that either the a/c or furnance would go out soon. Deco Air showed up on time, clean, professional and personable. They were able to service my system rather quickly and gave me a realistic overview of the condition of my system. They didn't try to upsell a new system or convince me that mine was worthless. I was shocked at how this guy John handled the call . They called me and informed me they would arrive in 20 mins I happened to be at work so I informed my mother they where coming . Well my boyfriend had a friends brother who also happened to show up just in case nobody cane to fix it . Well John was offended that I would have someone there in a car not a work truck and I should have called them to tell them I had someone coming . I explained my mother is 73 yrs old and it's 120 degrees outside I will take any help . He laugh and said good luck with that .. He was rude and unprofessional . I understand that the kid had said oh I'm fixing it . You should still walk up to the door and speak to the home owner just to clarify as when I arrived home my mother said nobody's come ..I know I wouldn't call them again .. Hi, We called Deco Heating & Air last night - one of the coldest nights in Riverside in a very long time- because our heat wasn't working. It was already late, about 8:30pm and yet they said they would be at our home in 30 minutes. True to their word, they were here! Turns out, the motor went out. So happy to hear him say with a new motor, we can still get several years of usage from our unit (20+ years). They weren't able to replace it last night, but were back today with replacement motor in hand. They quickly, efficiently were able to relace the motor. They tested both heat and cooling, reattached a 'detached'duct, and even put in a replacement filter! I am very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again in the future! Jesse and John came to rescue today! My parents AC busted and they got a quote from someone else that was ridiculously over priced. I reached out to Deco, our go to for years, to get a second opinion since my parents already got another quote without me knowing. Within minutes upon arrival John assessed the unit and provided a quote that was a fraction of the other quote so we approved and in less than an hour the cool air was back and my parents were happy to not have to spend so much money. John and Jesse were running late but let me know and kept me informed and even waived their service fee because of the delay. John also spoke Spanish and did an amazing job of explaining the situation to my parents and showing us how to properly clean and maintain the unit for future use and to eliminate costly repairs down the line. Unfortunately, my service experience was NOT good. The unit still has no heat and the air is not cool which I was told by him (contractor) that this was a new unit but his partner (family member) confirmed it was refurbished.? Honesty is always the best policy with any job. I have paid for something that does not work properly, money thrown away for now. Rather than say you HAVE to replace thermostat in order for unit to work, he only posed it as an option and the unit will not turn off and on automatically as it did in the past? I was hoping to avoid having to write this but bad service is bad service. My spouse also stated he (the contractor) relayed incorrect information to me on his behalf. Again, HONESTY is the best policy. Legally, I cannot recommend this company and will have to call someone else to fix the problem that DECO was paid for as well as the water heater problem they left behind in which I had to hire another contractor who explained what occurred with DECO. read more

We've been using Deco Air for over 7 years now and 2 houses. Our 1st contact 7years ago, we had trbl with our A/C and John instructed us that we had a great AC, just needed refrigerant. He said from the beginning he wants to save us money where possible and he did. 4 years later, we move into new home in Orangecrest, and the week of back to school night 4 kids, the AC for the upstairs stopped early Sept. super hot in house. Called Deco and John said no prb. Came over quick, troubleshooted AC unit and told me bad capacitor. Due to late in the day he said it will b avl next day. Came back with part and put in in by next nt. Worked great. 3 years later, Dec 2017, our compressor died. Called Deco again, John and Jessica came over. Told me our Goodman AC (which is bottom of the line) is on its way out, 15 yrs. Gave me a couple of financial options. One was to throw money at a bad unit to keep,it running for a year or two,$800,or Replace both units at a discounted price. I chose latter, and glad I did. The reality is that we live in Riverside, we can't live w/o a/c. The new units look fabulous run super quiet and more importantly, will keep us going into the summer. Thank u DecoAir. read more
