Good place. Authentic gelato with a spin. The finished product looks like the picture. Prices aren't bad compared to other ice cream places. Parking can be a challenge. You might have to pay. Place is very clean and they have a good variety of flavors. Tip- if it's hot out don't think you're going to be able to walk around and eat a cone like this. It melts quickly, and there isn't any place for it to go but straight down the cone to your hand. Get something in a cup or plan to eat it inside. read more

First I will say: there was one fantastic gelato place in Philly that I always compare the places I try in the states. Here is what is annoying: So nowhere does the establishment have signs that you have to order (and pay) one of the sizes before you can actually sample their selection. And that's fine- if there was a sign that tells you that is what you need to do. The actual gelato was heavy and too sweet. Sadly I really was waiting for this place to open - only to be disappointed. Try it and maybe your experience is different. read more

We're excited to have an ice cream store so close...La Cantera needed it! Love that you can get more than one flavor in your cup or cone. It promotes that there are no artificial ingredients or flavors, so I know a lot of people will like it for that alone. The place was cute and the girl behind the counter was friendly. The displays are beautiful. There was only 1 person working, but it was slow. Since it's all so labor intensive, hopefully they staff accordingly on busy days. I got a small cup of pistachio gelato. Any time I can get pistachio, that's the flavor I choose. It was ok, but tried my friend's hazelnut and it was a lot better. My friend loved her gelato and she also got a macaron, which she said was great. The cones are beautiful and look like flowers when they're done scooping. We bought 2 small cups and 1 macaron and our bill was $20. I'm sure I'll be back, since it's walking distance. read more

This place is great! Finally a dessert/ice cream/gelato place at La Cantera. So sad that baked bear closed but this is a good replacement. Pricey and small portion but good! I'd pay the price once in a while... the line is usually crazy here. They only have self checkout which is spectacular and somewhat efficient. You gotta hear them when they call for your name, it does get loud. It's a small place but large enough to grab and go. Don't stand around and block the place! We attended the grand opening of Amorino and had a chance to try their premium gelato flavors. Everyone in our party loved their chosen flavor, from vanilla to mint chip. Amorino also offers coffee options and multiple macaroons - we tried a chocolate macaroon with chocolate gelato inside and it was once of the best macaroons I've ever tried! Employees were friendly and patient with my kiddos. We will definitely return. read more

I watched this place getting fixed up to be opened for a while and somehow I missed the opening of it. I went to try it out recently. They have few options which I decided to get the large cone with the chocolate on top. Looking at the price it is expensive but... it is well worth it! So comparing it to other ice cream shops you only get to try max 3 flavors ordering a large cone. Here lol you can try as much as your heart desire! So I said why not! Even the girl making it was giggling moving from one flavor to the other! Yes please! When she handed it to me it was heavy! It is a LOT of ice cream! I dumped it all in a cup and shared it with my mom! I promise you this could be shared with 3 people at least! It is not only huge but it is also delicious! It looked so cute with the flower shape! Decided to check this place out today, the gelato and macarons looked interesting. I asked if I could sample the pistachio gelato and the employee said "yeah! Once you pick your flavor, cone or cup, and size then you can try" basically her way of saying, "no we don't do samples." like a politician. Lmao, if that's the case, just state that directly. I could have done without the passive aggressive interaction and on top of it, the gelato and macaron were both actually really bad. We won't be back. read more

Knock, knock, knock. This there a manager at this establishment? Every-time I come in, it's packed full house and those poor girlies are working so many orders. Is there no one else being hired? The gelato is really good, but I can't in good faith order how I want to when I know it will increase the workload on them. Please do better. Also, the only signs in this establishment that's helpful is the sign language the employees have to do in order to direct the customers. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! They opened a gelato place in one of the BUSIEST malls in San Antonio and only had one employee working. Everyone lined up at the cashier, and after about 10 ish minutes of waiting, the employee said the register was closed and that orders could only be placed at their two kiosks, which more than 15 customers were trying to use. Management seriously needs better planning and should train staff on how to TALK to and COMMUNICATE with customers. MIGHT AS WELL MOVE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE!!! read more

Place was nasty and employees didn't attempt any effort to clean it, I ordered the pistachio latte with a added on macaron and no surprise didn't get the macaron. Latte didn't resemble what was advertised and was just a normal latte with pistachio nuts sprinkled on top, this all costed 10$ and had the audacity to ask for a tip even though the order was via a tablet, also while I was dining the flies circling around and I had to listen to the employees giving attitude to customers ordering. All in all, my next stop was the bathroom from the expired whole milk they used in my latte. read more

Initially, I was the first review to leave five out of five but today they were out of mango coconut dark chocolate raspberry a lot of flavors. I had already bought a cup whenever she was scooping the flavors that's when I found out I ended up getting the cherry and chocolate, the cherry had no cherries in it when it was scooped none of the topping was on it. I really didn't like my gelato today and I'm a regular there. I wish it would've been posted or I would've been told before I swiped my card. I didn't enjoy it or like it today. read more

The service was immaculate and the manager was so engaging. Everyone needs to go. The ambiance madr it so much better too
