Salads are fresh (not made hours in advance) and the food is always good. I'm a really picky eater and I've yet to be disappointed. The prices are fair or below what I'd expect to pay. It's a great value and the owner is awesome. It makes it easy to support the business of such a nice guy. Try this place - you'll be happy you did! read more

Amore Pizza - a display case of food in a restaurant - Pizza Near Me - Salem, New Hampshire

I love this place. I go here at least once a month and more if I convince friends to go. This will always be one of my top places to go. The owners are the friendliest people to talk and interact with, they always give the best service and have the best sauce in town. I can always appreciate a Mom and Pop shop and this is exactly that the environment is simple and it feels homie when you walk inside. If I could give it more stars I would. Highly recommended. read more

The sweetest couple runs this place. All the food is good, but I love the Sicilian pizza and the Lamb especially. Prices are fair, the food is good, and you couldn't ask for nicer owners. We moved to the area recently and this is our go-to place. read more

In the area running errands with a friend and in search of good pizza ... and we found it! 5 stars for their pizza! The cheese pizza was absolutely phenomenal. We shared a slice because we wanted to try some of their other offerings. We also shared a slice of the meat pie and spinach pie. Both didn't come with sauce so we asked for a side of red sauce and the gentleman and lady behind the counter (who we assumed were the owners) couldn't be more kind and friendly and happily brought a small heated container of sauce to our table. We enjoyed the taste of the meat pie a little more than the spinach pie which was a little bland. Overall, both were very good. We couldn't leave without trying dessert so saw the lady putting the chocolate raspberry with almonds in the dessert case. The gentleman commented that she (presumably his wife) just made them. SOLD!!! It was excellent! Overall a 4.5 star experience. Friendly staff/owners, great pizza and a nice selection of desserts! We'll be back and would like to try some of their other pizza's next time. read more

Good food and good quality Lots of things in their menu Prices are okay read more

I've been working in the area since October and been trying to find some place that I could find some good pizza. I finally ventured out to NH for a little shopping and thought I would look for something in the area. I ran across this gem on yelp and thought I would check it out. I order a pizza and grabbed some desserts, everything looked so good! The pizza was the BEST pizza I've had in a long time. I didn't want to stop eating it! I had to wait until later in the day to try out the desserts, simply amazing! If you're in the area try this place out! Food was absolutely great and the couple that helped me out were extremely kind. My go to place for pizza when I'm in town. read more

I love these people. They know my voice on the phone, they know my family and always ask how they are. The sweetest people. Also, their food is excellent. I personally love the Amore salad. Their Buff chicken APP is also great. All their pizza, even by the slice, is excellent. Their calzones are great. They use fresh ricotta and marinara dipping sauce on the side. Their sicilian pizzas are the best around here, right up their w/ Napolis etc. I've never had a bad experience in the 13 years I've been ordering from there, and I usually order lunch once a week here. Would definitely recommend. And I don't give 5 stars all loosey goosey. read more

This was our first time ever going to Amore. Went there because of Yelp. So glad we did. Delicious food prepared by husband and wife owners. They care greatly about the quality of the food they serve and the quality of your experience with them. Whenever we're in the Salem area we will stop in. read more

I've been coming here since I was a child with my family. It is not a 5-star restaurant, but the food you get from here is 5 stars. It is the epitome of a mom & pop place. The food is made with that extra bit of care that everyone always gets. I can promise that there isn't one bad thing on the menu. If you like grape leaves & lamb this is the place to get them...absolutely delicious. My favorite things here are the Sicilian pizza, meat-pie, & steak bomb subs. The food is great, its in a good location in Salem NH on route 28. Everything about this place is just wonderful. If you're in the area come check it out. read more

Amore Pizza - The adorable owner boxing our stuff to go! :) best place ever - Pizza Near Me - Salem, New Hampshire

My family and I really enjoy going to this place on the weekends. The owners are very special and they really put the "Amore" in the food.

Need to start by saying the people here are very sweet but that's as far s as i can go in the positive. I have ordered here in the past and got a turkey sub that came with very wilted lettuce and some of the other ingredients were missing. Haven't ordered here since that, was about 6 months ago. We normally order out for lunch Monday thru Friday so we order from a lot of places and we like a variety so i gave this place another shot. I ordered a large steak and cheese calzone with onions, mushrooms and American cheese. When the lady showed up with me order i was very confused to see what she was carrying as it was not a pizza box, it looked like a small sub, asked her what that was and she responded that was my calzone. Again very confused I asked how that could be as i ordered a calzone large that i was charged 31.00 dollars for (36 with tip) and looking at what she had it was not what was ordered. She explained that this is a "real calzone" and not like others. I asked her what it is i have been eating for the last 50 years as i have never seen a calzone resemble a small sub it has always been a pizza folded over out one pizza turned over on top of another. You get the point.. She told me those are not really calzones... So reluctantly i took it and went up stairs where a couple of us were waiting to eat our shared calzone. Let me just tell you, as soon as i opened it my eyes bugged out off my head as this does not resemble a calzone and upon further inspection it was 95% cheese and dough and very little steak and a few onions no mushrooms. Extremely upsetting for all involved as there was hardly anything to feed people with. This "calzone" was so razor thin and lacking ingredients. Never again, I am very disgusted with what we got and what i was charged for this. I can order a calzone from Giovanni's for 27.00, it is massive, fresh, thick, full of ingredients and will feed 5 people. It looks like a calzone, smells like a calzone, tastes like a calzone and feeds people like a calzone should. Sorry but you have lost my patronage and that of quite a few people who work here also. read more

Worth every penny to eat here. They will build your Pizza to your specifications. Delicious!!!

We found this Mom & Pop pizza shop during COVID... OMG LOVE IT!!! The owners are so cute and wonderful! The home baked goods are delicious, and some are sugar free, and their food is delicious! I highly recommend this place read more

We moved to Salem about 4.5 years ago and just recently tried Amore for the first time. I wish we knew about it 4 years ago. Ordered the pepperoni, bacon and banana peppers pizza, Sicilian style. It was the best pizza we have ordered since moving here. You could tell the Pie was well put together and it was cooked perfect. Dough was just the right consistency, not too heavy and not too fluffy, was also cooked perfectly. This will now be our go to place! read more

We absolutely adore the couple who runs this pizza shop. Love is all in their delicious food. My Husband and I would come here every night before or after our dance classes for our wedding and left with our hearts and tummies full. A must stop!! read more

Our favorite restaurant in Salem. A super sweet couple own this place and they are always welcoming and friendly to their guests. The food tastes great as well as the deserts. It's a small shop that is reminiscent of a slower time when people cared for each other. The quality of the food is excellent and it's a wonderful place to pick up a bite to eat. read more

Absolutely the best tasting Pizza I've ever had! We ordered the Eaters Choice Sicilian size Pizza and it didn't disappoint! Not only is it huge, all the ingredients tasted fresh and the sauce was rich! Even better than the food is the couple who runs the restaurant. You will not find a nicer, more friendly couple than these two! This place is a must try! We will definitely be frequenting this place every time we are in town! read more

Great family owned gem! The food is great and the couple that owns it are the sweetest on the planet! Highly recommend!

I have been eating here for years, I work in town. There sicilian pizza is great, I also love there meat pies. I occasionally get a steak and cheese , outstanding. It's a small family run business with great owners. Very nice people, extremely polite, but the food is fresh and very good. read more

Don't let the location fool you, this is one of the best spots in Salem, NH! The food here is great! It is my go to pizza spot now after just one visit because you can tell that everything is made fresh. The owner is very nice which is one thing that is going to keep me coming back. Highly recommend if you are in the Salem, NH area. read more

A Salem native born and raised here and this is hands down the best pizza of the dozen places plus in Salem. Besides the typical pizza and subs, they offer daily specials of everything from kibbee to New England clam chowder, grape leaves and baklava. All are home made and fresh. The sicilian slices are great too, plus they offer wine and beer, not typical for a pizza place.. The husband and wife who own this place are the nicest people I've ever encountered in any food service place and are all smiles and remember your name. It's been in business for 25 years for a reason. It is tucked away beside an adult bookstore and nail salon in the Child's Plaza on 28 across from Ski Haus. It's easy to drive by, so look carefully. I've never had a bad experience here and it's why I keep going back for the delicious food. read more

I stopped in to the actual store about a month ago.. It was a Friday or Saturday night and I had called in an order. I was surprised (and a little sad) to see it completely empty. The restaurant is well lit, bright and open and looked spotlessly clean! As I approached a kind soft spoken women acknowledged me and I told her I had placed an order for pick up, my food was ready and waiting to go so that was nice. At the cash register they have a case full of all kinds of baked goods. I kept eyeing a chocolate coconut cake pop and decided to get that as well. I remarked to the lady how it was my first time actually being IN here that I usually only get deliveries, and so she gave me a cookie lol. She insisted, who am I to refuse a free chocolate chip cookie? ;D When I got home, my food was still hot and as I expected delicious. The cake pop was amazeballs, I didn't know what to expect, but definitely worth getting! It was just so nice to see how clean the place was and how genuinely friendly they are. Whenever you call they are, but you just never know what you'll get in person. Here you are greeted with a friendly smile and I appreciate that. read more

Best food in Salem. They care about their customers and care a lot about what they serve. The steak bomb is out of this world. Fresh bread, tender steak that isn't greasy, and packed with flavor. Everything I've ever had from them has been spectacular. Go here....YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! read more

This place is absolutely awesome! I have never had a bad meal here. Yesterday I got the "Amore Salad" after several people had recommended it. I'm not usually impressed by salad but it was one of the best salads I've ever had! The portions are enormous compared to the price and I agree with other reviewers that the couple who owns it are incredibly nice and add to the overall experience. They make everything from scratch, even the soups. Don't leave without getting one of the little cakes or pastries too! read more

Great place! The older couple that own the place are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. My wife & go here at least once a month.
