From the very beginning, the nurses and care team demonstrated an extraordinary level of kindness, professionalism, and respect. They not only ensured her comfort and dignity at every step, but also supported our entire family with empathy and understanding during an incredibly difficult time. Every interaction reflected genuine care and a commitment to making her final days as peaceful as possible. The staff was attentive, responsive, and highly skilled, always taking the time to address our questions and concerns. Their presence brought us reassurance and comfort when we needed it most. We cannot thank Hope Hospice enough for the exceptional care they provided. We wholeheartedly and confidently recommend their services to anyone seeking compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care for a loved one.

This is a long overdue review, but so necessary…read more The A Plus Home Health Care team from John to Marisa to my mom's other nurses that would stop by were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately my mom passed away in February 2019, but this company and team helped her pass away with dignity, comfort, and peace. And really, with a lot of love since she was at home surrounded by her loved ones. The A Plus Home Health Care team responded to my family's urgent and ASAP needs on the drop of a dime and when my mom passed, they even attended her funeral services. I don't know if there's even enough words to thank this team and company, but know that you and your family are in the best hands. Thank you and I am forever grateful for what you did for my mom and our family. God bless!

Thank goodness for the people at A Plus Home Health Care . Right from the start I had a very good interaction with Delma who if I had to guess runs day to day in the office. She got the ball rolling right there on the spot and had a list of people from P. T. and nurses I would be seeing for the next few weeks. I couldn't think of any other people I'd rather have taking care of me after surgery then the people at A Plus Home Health Care . There's Amareet, ( I don't know if I've spelled any of their names correctly ), nurse Cathy, Delma, Robert and Kathleen from P.T. Each one of these people were caring and skilled at their job. Kathleen was just the best. From my well-thought-out exercise regimen to answering all my questions which people tend to have a lot of after having surgery. She called Robert in to have a look at my hip for the amount of swelling I was having. It was great having someone to talk to that who was able to put you at ease and let you know that what you were experiencing was normal . I can't say enough about all of these people and the wonderful company that they work for. I honestly don't know what I would've done if if I hadn't had the help these people provided. When you're scared, unsure and overwhelmed with information, it's nice to have people that take the time to listen to you and provide the care that you actually need. Thank You.

This was admittedly a weird situation. My mom was signed up to receive hospice care. We decided…read moreto remove her from hospice care for several reasons. After doing the paperwork to remove her from hospice, I discovered that a med change had been made which I (as POA) was not told about. I was left in the position of a med prescribed by the hospice provider that couldn't be renewed because she was off hospice. All fine and good-except they had changed the dose. Her primary doctor wouldn't authorize the change so I couldn't refill it. Bristol refused to discontinue the med change because they were no longer providing services. I was left in that position. AND if that wasn't enough, my mom is in a memory care facility so if they did not give the dosage that Bristol ordered (without telling me) they would be out of compliance with the state and could be fined if licensing reviewed med records. I argued my way up the ladder so to speak and got them to change what they did. I would NEVER use this agency again. One star is only because no stars is not an option.

Our families experience with Bristol Hospice was very disappointing…read more The team promised comfort and consistent care for my mom including music therapy and relaxation aids but those services never happened. Different nurses arrived and despite repeated requests there is still no schedule after 3 weeks. A hygiene aide came but left my mom in her same clothes with no pants and just a diaper. Her anxiety medication ran out and while we were told a refill would be coming no could say when. We also asked for a meeting to address our concerns but it was rescheduled several times and no one ever followed up. At a time when reliability and compassion were most needed we felt unsupported and overlooked.

It creates a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. It is a facility where professionalism, teamwork, and compassion are clearly prioritized. It is a place where I would be honored in pursuing employment after completing my clinicals. During my clinical experience, I felt encouraged to learn and was consistently supported by staff who were willing to share their knowledge while maintaining a strong focus on proper patient centered care. Having a grandfather with Parkinson's disease deepened my understanding of the importance of patience, dignity, and compassionate care; values that Creekview consistently demonstrates. I am truly appreciative of the professionalism and empathy shown by the entire team, and I would feel very confident entrusting my own family's care to this facility. Overall, Creekview reflects excellence in both care and workplace culture.

If you are looking for a place for an Alzheimer's, patient to have a long-term care, this is…read moreprobably a very good solution. If you're looking for short-term skilled nursing, I'm not so sure. I brought my mom in here to recover from major surgery. They screwed up the medications for the first 2 to 3 days until I came in and sorted it out myself. And if you're doing this, just be aware, that if the hospital transfers a patient, it can take them a minimum of 12 hours to get the medication to their facility, but no one will tell you this. So as a result, my mother who is suffering from extreme pain due to major surgery, had to wait almost 12 hours for medication because once I realized what was going on, I had two traipse to her house and procure some myself. And even once I thought we sorted it out, they still kept forgetting to give her some of the meds she was supposed to have for her eyes. It was eminently frustrating. They treat everyone like a dementia patient whether they have dementia or not. This is a material problem for people who do not have dementia. If someone is trying to recover from something, it means they will not get the attention, exercise, etc. that they need to actually recover. They'll be told to stay in bed and not move. Not helpful. They are shortstaffed on skilled nurses for the facility. There's basically one per shift and that is the only person who is allowed to do much of anything other than very basic stuff. Another material problem in my point of view The facility itself is very nice, clean, with a variety of separate spaces that are all well maintained. The food was high-quality. There are enough people around that you can feel like at least someone is always on duty and attending to the needs of the residence. Everyone who works there is delightful. To be fair, they listen to my concerns and tried to rectify and respond in a timely manner. If this is considered one of the best of the best, I'm alarmed for what that means for my own old age. It was OK. Like I said, if you're using it for long-term Alzheimer's support it's probably fine.

It quickly became obvious that I was going to need full-time in-home care for her during my absence. That evening, I made a phone call to Visiting Angels of Livermore. They offered to provide a full no-commitment assessment, and I accepted. The next day, Mr. Keith Beck, Executive Director, came to my home and evaluated Mom's situation and needs. Mr. Beck was on-time, professional, organized and efficient. Following the assessment, we were introduced to a recommended caregiver who, assuming my approval, would be responsible for Mom. She was professional, very conversational with Mom and an experienced caregiver. By the end of the appointments, I was confident that Mom would have good, comforting care while I was gone. I was extremely impressed that Visiting Angels responded so quickly, and was also able to provide and dedicate quality staff in a timely manner. I continued the caregiving services on a part-time basis after I returned home as Mom was still not quite stable. Another caregiver was introduced and assigned. After a couple of weeks of continued part-time care, Mom became much better and I was comfortable with stopping the services. I highly recommend Visiting Angels of Livermore. All of my experiences (and my Mom's) were positive. It is a very well managed business with a reliable, kind, and supportive team: owner, office staff, and caregivers. Thanks to Visiting Angels I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely use them again when and if the need arises. The items are in great to excellent shape. My first experience with them as far as donations was when I needed a couch to be picked up. I heard they would pick up items. When I called they gave me the third degree and acted like it had to be brand new for them to pick it up. My couch was perfectly fine to donate and the family who received it was more than happy. Because in the end, I told Hope Chest to just forget it! They obviously didn't want my donation. Well, today I called ahead of time and the person I talked to said, "Make sure you don't have a truck load of donations right before closing!" She didn't say anything about them not accepting toys of any kind. I would not have wasted a trip. I also agree with some of the other posts, their prices are pretty high for a thrift store. After talking to management she all of a sudden agreed with the office manager that she did need hospice care. It seemed as if the manager made her agree to putting mom on hospice care. It was a sudden turn around as if they would lose a patient. I'm wondering if they get paid big bucks if they get hospice patients, and if they pass, their SSA will no longer be given to them. I gave a good written review when they sent me the letter to give a review, but I have another friend going through this now, and it seems like they are encouraging her mom to pass. They keep telling her the mom is in transition, but the mom is still eating a little food and has no pain. I pray for God to forgive me for letting them come to care for my mom. It seems like they encourage meds to give to them. Same situation for my father in 2 months later. It was a different hospice, but all 3 of the care for hospice seem to have the same agenda.....I miss my mom!

Prior to my total left hip replacement Lifeguard Home (Un)Health was contacted by the surgeon's office to provide physical therapy for me. Since they don't take Medicare insurance plans, they didn't bother to notify either me or my surgeon's office that they don't help people with Medicare insurance, so the surgeon's office thought it was all set. Unfortunately, this isn't the first, and probably not the last time I'll deal with a loser company like this that just drops the ball and never bothers to notify anyone about anything, and then just tries to deny and make excuses about everything. It's not just the frustrating experience dealing with the lameness, it's actually harmful for people who end up without the care they need.
