Every interaction reflected genuine care and a commitment to making her final days as peaceful as possible. The staff was attentive, responsive, and highly skilled, always taking the time to address our questions and concerns. Their presence brought us reassurance and comfort when we needed it most. We cannot thank Hope Hospice enough for the exceptional care they provided. Unfortunately my mom passed away in February 2019, but this company and team helped her pass away with dignity, comfort, and peace. And really, with a lot of love since she was at home surrounded by her loved ones. The A Plus Home Health Care team responded to my family's urgent and ASAP needs on the drop of a dime and when my mom passed, they even attended her funeral services. I don't know if there's even enough words to thank this team and company, but know that you and your family are in the best hands. My surgeon was out of town and I had a few questions. Thank goodness for the people at A Plus Home Health Care . Right from the start I had a very good interaction with Delma who if I had to guess runs day to day in the office. She got the ball rolling right there on the spot and had a list of people from P. T. and nurses I would be seeing for the next few weeks. I couldn't think of any other people I'd rather have taking care of me after surgery then the people at A Plus Home Health Care . There's Amareet, ( I don't know if I've spelled any of their names correctly ), nurse Cathy, Delma, Robert and Kathleen from P.T. Each one of these people were caring and skilled at their job. Kathleen was just the best. From my well-thought-out exercise regimen to answering all my questions which people tend to have a lot of after having surgery. She called Robert in to have a look at my hip for the amount of swelling I was having. It was great having someone to talk to that who was able to put you at ease and let you know that what you were experiencing was normal . I can't say enough about all of these people and the wonderful company that they work for. I honestly don't know what I would've done if if I hadn't had the help these people provided. When you're scared, unsure and overwhelmed with information, it's nice to have people that take the time to listen to you and provide the care that you actually need. Thank You.

It creates a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. It is a facility where professionalism, teamwork, and compassion are clearly prioritized. It is a place where I would be honored in pursuing employment after completing my clinicals. During my clinical experience, I felt encouraged to learn and was consistently supported by staff who were willing to share their knowledge while maintaining a strong focus on proper patient centered care. Having a grandfather with Parkinson's disease deepened my understanding of the importance of patience, dignity, and compassionate care; values that Creekview consistently demonstrates. I am truly appreciative of the professionalism and empathy shown by the entire team, and I would feel very confident entrusting my own family's care to this facility. Overall, Creekview reflects excellence in both care and workplace culture.

If you're looking for short-term skilled nursing, I'm not so sure. I brought my mom in here to recover from major surgery. They screwed up the medications for the first 2 to 3 days until I came in and sorted it out myself. And if you're doing this, just be aware, that if the hospital transfers a patient, it can take them a minimum of 12 hours to get the medication to their facility, but no one will tell you this. So as a result, my mother who is suffering from extreme pain due to major surgery, had to wait almost 12 hours for medication because once I realized what was going on, I had two traipse to her house and procure some myself. And even once I thought we sorted it out, they still kept forgetting to give her some of the meds she was supposed to have for her eyes. It was eminently frustrating. They treat everyone like a dementia patient whether they have dementia or not. This is a material problem for people who do not have dementia. If someone is trying to recover from something, it means they will not get the attention, exercise, etc. that they need to actually recover. They'll be told to stay in bed and not move. Not helpful. They are shortstaffed on skilled nurses for the facility. There's basically one per shift and that is the only person who is allowed to do much of anything other than very basic stuff. Another material problem in my point of view The facility itself is very nice, clean, with a variety of separate spaces that are all well maintained. The food was high-quality. There are enough people around that you can feel like at least someone is always on duty and attending to the needs of the residence. Everyone who works there is delightful. To be fair, they listen to my concerns and tried to rectify and respond in a timely manner. If this is considered one of the best of the best, I'm alarmed for what that means for my own old age. It was OK. Like I said, if you're using it for long-term Alzheimer's support it's probably fine.

It quickly became obvious that I was going to need full-time in-home care for her during my absence. That evening, I made a phone call to Visiting Angels of Livermore. They offered to provide a full no-commitment assessment, and I accepted. The next day, Mr. Keith Beck, Executive Director, came to my home and evaluated Mom's situation and needs. Mr. Beck was on-time, professional, organized and efficient. Following the assessment, we were introduced to a recommended caregiver who, assuming my approval, would be responsible for Mom. She was professional, very conversational with Mom and an experienced caregiver. By the end of the appointments, I was confident that Mom would have good, comforting care while I was gone. I was extremely impressed that Visiting Angels responded so quickly, and was also able to provide and dedicate quality staff in a timely manner. I continued the caregiving services on a part-time basis after I returned home as Mom was still not quite stable. Another caregiver was introduced and assigned. After a couple of weeks of continued part-time care, Mom became much better and I was comfortable with stopping the services. I highly recommend Visiting Angels of Livermore. All of my experiences (and my Mom's) were positive. It is a very well managed business with a reliable, kind, and supportive team: owner, office staff, and caregivers. Thanks to Visiting Angels I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely use them again when and if the need arises. If you are considering in-home care for a loved one, Visiting Angels of Livermore is it. An excellent Yelp score....5 Stars all the way!

When I called they gave me the third degree and acted like it had to be brand new for them to pick it up. My couch was perfectly fine to donate and the family who received it was more than happy. Because in the end, I told Hope Chest to just forget it! They obviously didn't want my donation. Well, today I called ahead of time and the person I talked to said, "Make sure you don't have a truck load of donations right before closing!" After talking to management she all of a sudden agreed with the office manager that she did need hospice care. It seemed as if the manager made her agree to putting mom on hospice care. It was a sudden turn around as if they would lose a patient. I'm wondering if they get paid big bucks if they get hospice patients, and if they pass, their SSA will no longer be given to them. I gave a good written review when they sent me the letter to give a review, but I have another friend going through this now, and it seems like they are encouraging her mom to pass. They keep telling her the mom is in transition, but the mom is still eating a little food and has no pain. I pray for God to forgive me for letting them come to care for my mom. It seems like they encourage meds to give to them. Same situation for my father in 2 months later. It was a different hospice, but all 3 of the care for hospice seem to have the same agenda.....I miss my mom!

Prior to my total left hip replacement Lifeguard Home (Un)Health was contacted by the surgeon's office to provide physical therapy for me. Since they don't take Medicare insurance plans, they didn't bother to notify either me or my surgeon's office that they don't help people with Medicare insurance, so the surgeon's office thought it was all set. Unfortunately, this isn't the first, and probably not the last time I'll deal with a loser company like this that just drops the ball and never bothers to notify anyone about anything, and then just tries to deny and make excuses about everything. It's not just the frustrating experience dealing with the lameness, it's actually harmful for people who end up without the care they need.

The food was delish. Dad didn't love the coffee but he can make his own. :) The staff has been there a long time and the ownership is also long-term which I find stable. There are a lot of pluses, but the icing on the cake was that each of three different residents talked to us in passing, and they were very cheerful and appeared happy. My father lived in this facility for nine months, during which he fell 13 times, despite my clear…read moreand early disclosure that he had Parkinson's dementia. Rather than revising his care or offering support, the facility ultimately evicted him after his final fall, labeling him a "fall risk"--a fact they had known since day one. They violated legal eviction procedures by failing to give a 30-day notice, and informed me while I was out of the country, leaving my father in the hospital and me scrambling to find a new place for him. The lack of empathy during a vulnerable time was inexcusable. To make matters worse, the facility said the only way they would allow him back was if I paid for a private 24/7 nurse--an expense they knew was unrealistic. This was clearly a tactic to push him out while appearing cooperative on paper. Not sure if Aireen T. is still the director but she is not responsive, professional, caring, or compassionate at all. I had to involve Ombudsman to get responses from her on everything. There are also serious safety and staffing concerns. During a power outage in the heat of summer 2024, the facility had no backup generator. We overheard firefighters asking staff where the generator was, and staff admitted there wasn't one. During this incident a female resident was stuck in the elevator for literally hours on a hot summer day!! It was horrifying. Others, like the woman across from my father's room, were left in the dark yelling "hello, is anybody there?" My family and I went to her to calm her down ourselves as no staff member checked on her or other residents to reassure them during this electricity outage. They are clearly understaffed and many of the caregivers are not certified CNAs, and it shows. Staff routinely defer to residents' refusals for essential care, and hygiene, rather than providing informed, proactive support for those with cognitive conditions. Many times I showed up and I could smell he hadn't showered. When I asked staff why they would say that he refused so they didn't do it. Medication for my father was not consistently dosed at a consistent time which was also a huge problem. My father also experienced racism from two other residents, and when I raised this with the Director Aireen, they brushed it off--blaming the behavior on health issues such as UTI and did nothing to protect or acknowledge the harm done to my father. Aireen and executive management did nothing to soothe our concerns. This facility is not safe, not equipped, and not compassionate. I would not trust them with any loved one under any circumstances.
