It's pretty great that a delicious macaron spot found its way into Morgan Street Food Hall! They have a small stand, but lots of delicious options Useful info: hours are 11 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week. So they are not open the entire the food hall building is open! Macarons are $2.50'each but get cheaper per piece as you buy more. A bit on the expensive side, but so absolutely worth it! They come pretty darn close in flavor to La Dure or other European macarons I've had! I tried the lavender and matcha flavors and both were DELICIOUS and super flavorful they're all made with an almond base! If you are looking for dessert on the lighter side in the area or in the food hall, this is your stop! Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

I tried Amitie's macaroons a couple of months ago and found them to be lackluster. The owner contacted me directly, apologized profusely, and had a new batch of macaroons delivered directly to my door. That in itself was amazing and deserved a great review. BUT I just ate two of these new macaroons and I can honestly say I'm a customer for life! They are perfect--smooth and crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. The flavors were great the 1st time around, but with the perfect texture it made them even better. Seriously guys go buy some macaroons from these guys immediately--I know I will!

We stopped here out of curiosity on a Saturday afternoon. We'd had macarons before, but never gourmet or high-end ones. This place is pretty pricey, starting at $2.50 each and then the price per each goes down as you buy a higher quantity. We tried 4 flavors - pistachio, Nutella, espresso, and salted caramel. Of the four, my husband liked the caramel the best and I liked the espresso. They're pretty large for being macarons, so that's good! They were delightfully crisp on the outside, yet fluffy and creamy smooth on the inside. I know this sounds crazy, but I wish there was some way you could go into the store or eat inside, because seeing all the perfectly lined up macarons in all the different colors is soooo pleasing to the eye. Overall, it's definitely an expensive treat, but if you're trying to limit your sugar intake, you can get a very luxurious and delicious bite here that will be well worth the cost.

I visited the stand at Morgan Street Food Hall and it was the best possible decision I could have made.

The macarons at amitie are available in a wide variety of flavors to suit any palette and make for the perfect sweet treat while last minute shopping for Christmas gifts. My favorite flavors were: - -the cinnamon brown butter: reminded me of a fresh cinnamon bun. I'll be picking up a 6ct box of this flavor next time. - -cookies and cream: you could tell that the creamy filling was made with bits of chocolate cookie pieces - -pumpkin spice: call me "basic" but I still love pumpkin spice lattes, pastries, and beers even in December. The cinnamon and nutmeg didn't overpower the pumpkin flavor which was a win in my book Check out amitie (ig @amitie_macaron) during your next visit to Crabtree Valley Mall

While they were good, one of the salted caramels was very salty and the rest were overly sweet for us (compared to other macarons we have had). There was no social distancing enforced and we did the best we could considering the location. The employee was wearing a mask and gloves, however the gloves were not changed out between handling the macarons and the point of service. Overall it was just an okay experience and probably wouldn't return to this location but might try the location at Morgan Street Food Hall.

Walking in, it seemed kind of small, and we figured we'd have a few options. But looks were deceiving, with only a small frontage on the street, it's very deep, housing easily 20 or more restaurants. They offered the best variety of food ethnicities I've ever seen in one place. Restaurant options offered included a pizza shop, a deli, Italian, Mediterranean, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, burgers, a southern kitchen, a restaurant of just French fry options, and so much more. Wanting something sweet, they had ice cream, dessert crepe.....SO MANY OPTIONS. The variety was fantastic, and there was plenty of seating, both inside, and out. Staff were regularly, cleaning tables as people left, and bathrooms were well maintained.....the only downside, is you've got to decide where you're going to eat. I'd 100% return to this spot, such great variety, reasonable pricing and convenience.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff was pleasant from the moment we walked in. Even during breakfast hours, there wasn't a long wait. The shop itself is beautiful. There's an antique cash register near the counter that adds so much character, and I love that the menus are handwritten. Their merchandise is really cute, and they also make gourmet marshmallows. Everything in the case looks and tastes gourmet and made from scratch. They even offer wedding cakes. My total for breakfast for myself and coworker came to $18, which I found very reasonable. The iced Americano was strong in the best way. You can actually taste the espresso, and it didn't taste watered down or cheap at all. The only downside is that they don't serve whipped cream for iced coffee. The almond croissant was perfect. Sweet and buttery on the inside, crunchy on the outside with that lightly crisp, sugary layer that gives i texture. It was balanced and done just right. Overall, a solid breakfast spot with quality pastries and great pricing. I'd definitely stop in again.
