Office hours not accurate. "Lunch 1-2pm" everyday they open back up at least half an hour after that. Not exaggerating. I have things to do, i dont want to be waiting for the girls inside on their phone to open the office up again. read more

Awful. Dies not listen, does not care, does not treat. Health concerns ket getting worse and she did nothing. Switched doctors and got MRI, labs, etc immediately for a proper diagnosis. I would not recommend this dr at all based on my experience. read more

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! Dr. Amiksha Patel is so rude. I haven't seen her in years and decided to go back to give her another try. I regret that very much. She is so rude and clearly she doesn't care for her patients and it's clear she doesn't love what she does. She was so unprofessional making comments about me that were uncalled for and when I called her rude she told me to find another doctor and she walked out of the room. I asked for my copay back and she refused to give it back to me even though she didn't provide the care I needed. I had the worst experience with her. Save yourself from a horrible office visit and doctor do not see Dr. Amiskha Patel read more

Hey everyone. I highly recommend that You avoid this doctor. Misdiagnosing people, being verbally abusive to her employees in front of patients - this is not a patient friendly place. I s add m going to another doctor from now on. read more

She is the absolutely WORST doctor. For years she ignored my mother's.symtoms and would self diagnose her in the office without ever testing her or sending her for tests. My mother was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma and this doctor ignored her. So not go to this dr. Had we not changed doctors my mother would be dead. And be prepared to spend the entire day there if you make an appointment because they are overbooked all the time We would be there up to 6 hrs for a dr appt. read more

She is the most rudest and unprofessional doctor that I have ever seen. Her bedside manner is vile. If I can give her 0 stars I would. She needs to learn how to treat her patients and staff like human beings- read more

Rude and unprofessional. Dr. Patel just isn't a good doctor at all. I'm switching doctors because I get a vibe that she's miserable and takes it out on her patients. read more

I would give her 0 stars if it was an option I'll first start by mentioning that I have been a patient of Dr. Amiksha Patel for close to 8 years, and my experiences with her have always been less than satisfying. She is always condescending, and seems like she just wants to get me out of her office as soon as possible. Also, she has asked me on several occasions if I do hard drugs (cocaine or meth) to explain away whatever I am there for. I do not do those drugs, and furthermore, it is degrading to ask that on multiple occasions after I had told her that NO I DO NOT. As crazy as the following sounds, this is the truth as best as I can remember it. I went in today February 27th of 2023 for an appointment. I have some kind of infection in the back of my throat, and as usual, she is dismissive and gives the impression that she doesn't care. In typical fashion, she asked me AGAIN if I do hard drugs like meth or cocaine, because that would be an easy "ok then stop doing drugs". This time, I got fed up with that question, as it was at least the third time she had asked it. I confronted her and told her to stop asking me that every time I come in for an appointment. She stared at me and asked "What did you say"? After I repeated myself, she condescendingly asked me "do you have anger issues?" Bewildered, I said "excuse me?", and then she asked "Do you see a therapist?" I said as a matter of fact, I do. I am a veteran with PTSD. Then she had the nerve to say "Well maybe you need to see another one". Again, completely bewildered, I just got up and said "you know what, just give me my referral and I'm leaving" and as I got up from my chair, she yelled "No, you SIT YOUR ASS DOWN!!". Yes, she YELLED that at me. At this point, I felt unsafe, so I left the room and she said "GET YOUR ASS BACK IN HERE!!". The nurses were standing outside the door, and I asked them "Are you guys seeing this?" and they stood silently, not unsurprisingly. Anyways, I pulled out my phone to start recording this altercation so I could keep myself safe, and SHE SWATTED MY HAND AND PHONE AWAY WITH WHATEVER WAS IN HER HAND! I think it was a clipboard or maybe her stethoscope. I really do not know. After that, she ran around the corner so I could not record her anymore, and I walked out and spoke to the front desk girl. She apologized and just said for me to contact my insurance and get a new doctor. As I was talking to her, Dr. Amiksha Patel walked to the front desk area with a giant smile on her face, as she tore up my referral and threw it in the trash. After this, I called the police to report her for assault. The police showed up, and took down the report, but I will not know for a few weeks what, if anything will be done. After that, I filed a formal grievance with my insurance. Dr. Amiksha Patel should not be allowed to practice medicine. She truly is an unhinged crazy person. I don't care if she was having a bad day, or maybe having troubles at home. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of derangement. She disregarded her hipocratic oath when she put her feelings over her patient. She ripped up my referral with a smile on her face AFTER she cursed at me, yelled at me, and then assaulted me. After seeing the vast majority of her unfavorable reviews here and on other reviews sites, and reading the associated stories, I am inclined to believe that any of the 5 star reviews on here are complete fabrications by herself, or others who she is aligned with. read more

The absolute worst! But to be fair, she hadn't always been like this. I've been bringing my kids to her for years. Originally seeing Dr Lenz and somehow I ended up with Patel (like I said it's been years) . Anyways She had once been this caring and concerned, sweet Doctor. So you can understand my Disappointment these last few years...She's become this judgmental, rude and bitter person. Not only to myself, but my children and my significant other. Her attitude is absolutely disgusting. As someone who deals with people on a daily basis , she does a horrible job at it. I don't see how someone like this is a doctor. I've had a few encounters with her that didn't sit well with me recently but today especially I had to bite my tongue. I've come to the realization that this reoccurring attitude was the misery loves company smitten woman she had now become. I refuse to continue to have me or my children be patients to that horrid woman. I do not recommend her to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and find someone else. read more

Please pay attention to the reviews regarding misdiagnosis! I have never experienced a visit to a doctors office like this. You hear of horror stories within the medical community but you never think you would experience it yourself. I went in for a physical and to see what were some options regarding my insomnia. I don't know why this doctor decided to start diagnosing my mental health. We went through the usual questions on how much do I workout, do I smoke or drink. And then out of no where, the insults and the "diagnosing" came in! I was told during this appointment that my insomnia was due to a mental disorder and that I may be bipolar or schizophrenic. Even though the only personal questions she asked were "what do I do for a living?" and "how was your childhood?". How?! How can you diagnosis something so serious with no in depth evaluation. She also made a comment about the way I dress and that my hair was done really nicely. AND BECAUSE MY CLOTHES AND HAIR WERE NICE SHE TOLD ME THAT MY WHOLE LIFE IS A LIE!! LITERALLY IN THOSE WORDS! She told me that I pretend to be something I am not, that I feel the need to be perfect and that I have insecurities. She also told me that I was not comfortable talking to my wife and family about my issues. I NEVER SAID THAT NOR DID WE EVEN TALK ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY WIFE AND FAMILY. She is NOT a professional. I spent about 30 minutes asking her why is she saying these things, explaining how things are the total opposite on what she is saying but she wouldn't listen. She would just smirk and give me more reasons on why I am lying to her and how what she sees in me is correct. She is extremely judgmental and arrogant and allows her arrogance to cloud her judgement. I cannot say how shocked I was. This was not even a psychiatric appointment, I came in for a PHYSICAL. I don't know what is wrong with this office l but I will never come back. read more

I wouldnt give any starsto this so called "Dr". My grandparents went to this Dr. For many years. One day I went in with then and all they did was check weight, blood pressure and asked about refills. I told her if they can do any testing because I noticed my grandmother's memory was getting bad she told me no she was fine and she didnt recommend any testing. My grandfather ended up in ER due to bleeding from his rectum which we let the Dr. Know. He ended needing 2 blood transfusions they ended finding a mass and we did a biopsy to find out he was already at stage 4 colon cancer. He went thru a major surgery to try to remove it but it already had spread to the lymph nodes. While he was in ICU my grandma kept wondering the neighborhood asking for rides to the hospital while I was at work. Finally we got a hold of a physiological Dr to do testing and guess what she was diagnosed with dementia at that time. After a short period of time we rushed her to the ER we found out she was going into a diabetic coma which we didnt know she had diabetes. So during that year while my grandfather did chemo, radiation and surgery there was nothing they can do they gave him 6 mos at that same time grandma was taking metformin for her diabetes and she was feeling sick. I had to beg the Dr to give her a referral to see a specialist to find out my grandmother was gonna need dialysis 9n her kidneys from the metformin. I was finally able to change Dr. Due to getting conservatorship over my grandma. Unfortunately my grandfather passed a year later after that my grandma passed 14 mos after him. Please dont go to see this Dr. They didnt catch any symptoms or even tried to do any type of testing to the elderly or did any importantcheck ups. Dr Patel juat gave me a snobby attitude and didnt show any real concern. If she had did jer job there could've of been more years to spend with our grandparents making memories. Dont get me wrong the staff was kind but that Dr just wants to get paid and thats it. Im surprised she is still a Dr. To be honest they really need to do a thorough investigation on this lady. DONT TAKE YOUR ELDERLY FAMILY MEMBERS HERE PLEASE. read more

I give this doctor no stars. Ok. One because the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I felt I was discriminated against during my visit. I was stereotyped due to a previous medical issue from more than ten years ago. I felt embarrassed and violated. She was rude, condescending, judgmental and non professional. I work in the medical field and if I ever treated a client with disrespect I would lose my job. I immediately changed doctors. The blessing in this is that my previous doctor who didn't take my new insurance now does. Had this not happened I wouldn't have checked to see if she was now on the list. So all is good in the universe. Ps. Not to beat a dead horse so to speak but she sent me to the wrong lab for blood work and faxed an incomplete order for imaging so the center could not even schedule me an appointment. I cannot help but to think all of these "errors" on her part were due to discrimination. Again. I will be returning to my previous doctor who knows all my history and is very professional and ethical. Namaste read more

I don't think Doctor listens to her patients. She barely even looks at you. Or your chart. The couple of things I brought to her attention she shot me down right away, not asking me any questions. And did not even take the time to talk to me to even try to figure out what was going on. This is my second visit, the first visit wats no better. This will be my last visit. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR.SHE DOESN'T LISTEN. IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE. She is not very attentive doesn't look at your chart. Doesn't listen to her staff. My husband died under her care. He went in on Halloween 2019 and she gave him a muscle relaxer. Said he strained his neck muscle. We went to Parkview Hospital ER 2 night's later when muscle relaxer wasn't helping. They said he just had a strained muscle in his neck or a severe headache. We went the next night to ER they said the same thing but this time they gave him medicine and said he was showing signs of kidney disease. muscle relaxer didn't help the medicine didn't help. I called the doctor Sunday told her he was getting worse was not doing well. She said bring him in the next day at 12:30 in the afternoon not in the morning when they open. He could barely walk so we brought him in a wheelchair. He was cold as ice and was not very coherent. She told me I was overreacting and that he would be fine and he was having a nervous breakdown and to bring him back on Wednesday at 12:30. Gave him sleeping pills and told me to take him off all of his medications that she had prescribed except for his Glipizide and the sleeping pill. Told me to give it to him every 6 hours. He didn't have a viable blood pressure the nurse tried 4 times to get his blood pressure and his temperature was 82 degrees. I was so exhausted I thought I could trust her. He died that night. I was told later if they couldn't get his blood pressure and his temperature was so low she should have sent us to the hospital immediately. And her office is located in Parkview hospital parking lot. In Parkveiw medical center. Don't trust her. read more

This woman needs to learn people skills. This is the second time I have gone in to see her as a new patient and this is the second time she comes across as arrogant and insulting. My mother just passed away and as her primary care physician I asked her if she was ever notified by the hospital? She said no IPA notified her. And then she said the medical system is really screwed up.I then asked her as a doctor aren't you concerned of not being notified? She then told me if I wanted to have a negative attitude that I should do something and look into it I then asked her why don't you look into it? That's when she told me I had a negative attitude... I then got up and told her we're done and walked out read more

Do NOT come here. One star is one too many for Dr. Patels office. the office located at 3974 Jackson Street , riverside is the current office Dr. Patel resides. Let me start off by saying that I've never even seen or spoken to Dr. Patel herself, the only interaction I've have is with her PA and her office staff who have proven their incompetency over and over again. I'm a relatively healthy person in my late 20's and never had any serious scares until this last month. I have what looks to be a blood disease or possible infection of liver or kidneys. The reason I still have no idea what is wrong with me is so due to the lack of urgency, response, or follow up from this doctors office. First: they have absolutely no customer service skills what so ever. Second: they never return any phone calls and IF they do you will have to explain the whole situation all over again, because they apparently do not take messages or pass along the correct information. Which you would imagine is upsetting, when dealing with a potentially serious or urgent medical situation. Third: the doctors office mislead me not once but TWICE to different labs that on top of all the other inadequacies also ran the WRONG BLOOD tests, not even what was labeled on the lab slip. dr. Patels office DID NOT even notice until I called over and over asking for the results. Constantly getting the brush off. Please!! If you care about your health DO NOT come here. There is one PA that is competent and she deserves to work in a nicer more effectively run office. I've had to micromanage everything they do just to make sure it gets done, and gets done right. I have already switched doctors, but if you are considering Dr. Patel, I felt this is the best public service I could do. Consider any other office. Hopefully this saves someone from all the bull**% that I went through. read more

The absolute worst doctor and staff to deal with. The only reason I chose her at the time was because I just moved back to the US and all the doctors I wanted were no longer accepting new patients and were booked until the following summer. I've come to the office only a few times, once when I had an ear infection and another time for a pap smear. However when I wanted to book my physical exam I was informed that "I have already done it" when I haven't. She then told she marked it as such at my first appointment. That day I came in to fill out new patient info and all she did was take my blood pressure and check my breathing. I'm pretty sure that is NOT a physical exam. And at least let the patient know beforehand. But that's nothing compared to wanting to have my medical records sent to me since she FAILED to submit ALL my health records to my new doctor when moving states. Because I needed my records I had to call the office over 5 times a day to get my records sent me and on top of that she charged me a $25 fee plus $2 for using a credit card. Though by CA state law they should only charge 0.25-0.50 cents per page plus a clerical fee which should NOT exceed $6.50. My records were only about 15 pages. It should not exceed max of $14 if you do the math. A total scam. I paid only to get my records sent because I was sick and tired of having to call them a million times to get ONE thing done. Incompetent staff whom never return calls and they say they did something when clearly they did not. Waste of time and energy. Run far away from this place! If I could rate this place in the negatives I would. In retrospect, now that I am actually dealing with competent and qualified doctors I see the difference, such as I automatically get my latest lab test results mailed to me AND I can access all that info on their secured portal online. This doctor does not do any of that, she lives in archaic times. There really should be no reason to charge patients for their OWN medical records. It's absurd and if you must, it should not be more than $5-$10. read more

RPMG doesn't offer urgent care services before five PM & their staff is incompetent as far as being aware of hours or availability for network offices. I was considering switching to this doctor but after reading the reviews I felt it wasn't worth it to try it. Others experience means much. Very rude doctor. I am about 30 lbs overweight and disabled and EVERY time I went there she said I was fat, not overweight. She refuses to fill out paperwork that is her responsibility. Talks about her dislikes of the pharmaceutical industry, therefore, doesn't prescribe medication. When you describe your illness, she tells you why society has caused this. She is also a coward when confronted with her refusal of filling out paperwork. Wouldn't explain reason, tucked her tail between her legs and ran to her office! Stay away! read more

So I would give no stars if possible. I got to my apt 30min early to file new patient paper work and the ladies at the front didn't know how to run my eligibility. So my apt is at 3 and it was literally an hour before I was seen because of that. It only got corrected because I taught them what to do. I'm a medical biller. So another 20 min in the room before the doctor gets into the room. She was the worst doctor EVER! She was arrogant, rude, and egocentric. She proceeded to talk down to me the whole time. She asked my major in college and used that as a gateway to negatively criticize my youth and act as though she knew me. Stating "you have no idea how lucky you are, you don't know pain cause because you've never lived in India." It was 27 minutes on politics she proceeded to speak another five minutes about my actual issues before sending out the door. I never got to be seen for what I really needed because I didn't feel comfortable to talk to her about it my childhood sexual abuse. I wanted to discuss fertility, get a referral, and help I wanted to get for that. She would have just said how easy I had it compared to her. read more
