This Doctor is so unprofessional. My Grandfather is always needing approval of Michelle Martinez to get refills. Been calling for 2 weeks now and left messages now it says voicemail is full. My Grandfather is elderly and needs prescriptions when they run out. I can't even believe she even has her MD. My next step is to report this Doctor through the Medical Board. I will be switching his Doctors. Now let's see if we can get medical records. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME because she clearly doesn't care or value her patients. Huh? Called and called and no one answered, no answering machine, and faxes for my prescription were ignored. Closed? I hate to give what was a good business a bad review. But things went downhill fast. Bad, bad staff (she knows this, they worked at the same place she used to work at), no test follow-ups, no wellness appts scheduled like before. Never responded to my monthly prescription fax from my Pharmacy, and last time I was here, staff gave me (told me) my test results. (???) Seriously? Been calling for my significant other because she needs answers for her questions, calling to make an appointment or to know if her doctor sent the orders to the pharmacy and no answer to any call I do . She tried calling her self as well and no answer. It clearly states open on the website and they close at 5:30pm but can answer? I really think twice about writing a review for any business or establishment. If I do this is because I don't want other people to go through the hell I am going through because my doctor refuses to serve well and to abide by her profesiolal duties. Numerous occasions of bad experiences have been accumulated for me to write this. I'm only alerting the public as to my own experience has been with Dr. MICHELE MARTÍNEZ from People's Care Systems of Riverside. Your experience may be different. This doctor never ever will speak to you over the phone, her stuff is at times rude but mostly careless and insensitive. When there's any issue and another medical professional requires to talk to her she takes days to return phone calls and if there's a call for action from her office even longer. I'm a cancer survivor and have many issues left over from all the medications for the cancer and some doctors aren't human enough to be able to handle or to be entrusted with other person's health. Do what you must for your own good, be your own advocate and look for more comprehensive, more conpationate doctors. Believe me they are out there.. they do exist. Cheer up. read more

I was the only patient in the waiting room and they took forever to call me in and when they did, I waited about 45-1 hr waiting for the doctor in the room and with appointment! I wouldn't even give this doctor or this place 1 star. The Dr Martinez shows no emotion or compassion, she just wants to get you out as soon as possible. I have never been to a doctor who is so cold and uncaring. The girls who work in the front are even worse, always so rude and always arguing with someone! Seems like the only one who does any thing is the medical assistant but even she can't do her job right. I have been waiting for test results since October and everytime I call I get the run around or some excuse as to why I have not received them yet! She is an amazing doctor And actually listens to the patients needs and what they are feeling. She doesn't just write a script, she will sit and talk to you about what's going in life not just hi by thank you. A doctor you can actually be honest with what's going. To see one stars is beyond me maybe never had a doctor who actually cares and isn't being paid by big pharma. Also the ladies in the front are so sweet snd have an issue with anything will go out of there way fo when they are so crowded. This review is important to me - potential patients should know! A - (MINUS) 5 stars rating, if the option was available. Dr. Martinez - the worst doctor i ever saw since arriving in the US as legal immigrant in 1980 (and to this date never/ever having made use of any beneficiary government program whatsoever). A complaint for 'gross negligence, repeated Negligent Acts and Incompetence' were once before filed by the State of California Medical Board and the CA State Attorney's office. A "Stipulated Settlement and Disciplinary Order" by the CA Attorney General against Dr. Martinez are on record. On-line sites dropped the ball on this one (Case No. 09-2002-140527). SO - HERE WE ARE NOW - MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR. MARTINEZ: I had a stroke, well documented thru medical exams and x-rays at 2 separate urgent care facilities prior to me ever seeing Dr. Martinez. Was urged to go to hospital. Even sought out alternative care instead (chiropractor) since i have no insurance and Emergency Rooms are expensive. The senior PA at the first Urgent Care, even scared the hell out of me, first place i went to, saying "i am so scared for you". My right arm/hand/fingers useless. I considered myself okay, weighted my options - since i could walk/talk okay. Me, all paying out of pocket at each and every facility for everything - paying immediately. Was told i needed to work with a general practioner (MD) to consult and schedule tests at the very least to start any treatments. That is how Dr. Martinez and i connected. Good Yelp reviews and open to new patients. Made appointment, came, paid her charges on arrival, before even seeing her. A nice personable lady, we talked a few minutes, But she never ever even bothered to look at my arm/wrist/hand/fingers. Somebody took my vitals and blood samples. Filled an order for me to have neck and chest x-rays taken at Parkview Hospital. Did so immediately and also immediately paying same day/same visit there. Since i never ever heard from Dr. Martinez office again and we had gone way past holidays December/ early January, made follow-up telephone-call about results. This is how it went: "She" wants MRI follow-ups the receptionist told me.....for what i asked? Because xrays of my neck "murky" (whatever that means) the receptionist says. Blood testing results - there are/will be none - since blood samples were lost. I hit the roof! Receptionist offered to make "a few phone calls", asking me if i (myself) had received a invoice from the lab - no. For me to call her back the next day - i did/her confirming samples lost. Am i kidding - NO, i am not kidding! And a good 3 months later, not 1 phone call from Dr. Martinez to explain how 'lost blood samples and my personal data' can be floating around out there somewhere. I have taken further steps pertaining to my health care, none of them involving Dr. Martinez as medical provider. read more

I've called several times asking about my referral to my OB and TWICE they've left me on hold for 20+ minutes and then the phone rings and it hangs up the line, twice I've called and no answer, guess I'm gonna have to drive down there and speak to them in person for something I can ask over the phone. read more

I have no problems with Dr. Martinez other than a longer than normal wait time..most likely because she does spend time with each patient to make sure she addresses their concerns. I had a mri done for my back and was told that the doctor should get back to me within a week, but 3 weeks passed , so I had to be the one to call them to know my results. The one who gave me my result was a receptionist not even the doctor..and it ended up being something serious. Very unprofessional. The doctor and her front office are terrible. Worst place ever. They only have a 10 minute grace period, my boyfriend was literally 15 minutes late for an appointment due to traffic. He called to inform them and they said they had to check to see if they can accommodate. Then he had to reschedule more than 2 weeks out. And it wasn't like there was an urgent appointment that was waiting or trying to take his spot. Sad that they care more about going home early then caring for their patients. read more

Not a reliable or professional doctor's office. I've had to watch my husband struggle with pain and discomfort for weeks. He went to the ER 2 weeks ago since this office had no availability for weeks. He was to follow up with Dr. Martinez. It took days to schedule an appointment because no one answered and the voice mailbox was full. When his appointment date finally came around, they called him 30 minutes before to cancel because the doctor would not be in. At this point he was already waiting in the parking lot. The staff was less than caring. The quality of care is unacceptable. We scheduled with another doctor and got a same day appointment. The first time I went to doctor Martinez, I thought she rushed through the check up. Then My daughters need a physical and immunizations and since my fiancee had been against immunizations for ever she seem pretty judgy and annoyed with his personal beliefs. At the end she had her staff lie about the availability of the immunizations and I had to go find another doctor who could help us. My overall opinion on Dr. Martinez is that all she cares about is the money and quantity of patients she can see in her clinic and not the quad her care. Do not recommend. read more

First About the rate it's 0 zeroooooo About the doctor when you go she always late you wait at lest 2 hours ( of course for nothing ) just they throw you away inside the room waiting she never listen she never give a chance to say everything she always in hurry. I've had many problems with my health, and I feel like they have been ignored. I'm suffering from light headed ness and I fainted last week. Tried to call doctor, no answer. Tried to call the only number I have for the office, no answer. Both numbers wouldn't even allow me to leave a voicemail. Her office since when I first started seeing her at the beginning of last year, always either doesn't answer the phone or the line hangs up. They never report to you your results either. I would always call them to ask. I had an in person appointment scheduled for a couple months ago. I showed up at the office and the door was closed, no one there. I called the doctor, called the office. No answer. Doctor called me the next day to return my call and said they moved to a different office. Why was I not notified? Anyways she called back the same day about 2-3 other times saying she had another missed call from me. I hadn't called her. We ended up scheduling a phone appointment for the next day. This place is so unorganized with scheduling appointments. After 2 MONTHS of trying to get an appointment that I really needed the day comes and not only do I call off work because I needed this appointment..they call me and tell me 30 mins before my appointment that the doctor isn't available. I get it you guys are not kaiser but just because you guys are a medical/mecaid office doesn't mean you half ass your job. I am beyond disappointed with this doctor and facility. I saw this doctor once and she disregarded what I had to say about my health problems therefore, I did not want to see her again but I needed to follow up with her soon after. She canceled that appointment and I rescheduled, things happen I understand. Today, I had an appointment right after their lunch time, I got there a few minutes early so I waited in the parking lot and as I was getting out of the car I see the doctor take off. I go in to ask the receptionist why I just saw the doctor leave if my appointment was in two minutes and she said that she would be back but she did not know when. How UNPROFESSIONAL and IRRESPONSIBLE of this doctor to just decide and leave before seeing a patient. Please, do yourselves a favor and look somewhere else, this doctor and the assistants here do not care about their job. This was not the first time I have a had a bad experience with them. It is pathetic how people in the medical field do not give a crap about their patients or care enough to do their job.
