Best food and best service in town! Never disappoints! They have great wine, beer, and the salads are amazing and the pizza cannot be beat! read more

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! The food was so fresh. I came across this restaurant on yelp and all the reviews reflect how great the food is... There's another brewery around the corner that we almost went to but I'm glad we went here. We had three smaller sized pizzas along with a salad and some beer. We brought our own card games to play and enjoy ourselves as this was the last night we were in Salida. 10/10 recommend! read more

Such an awesome find in Salida! They are busy even in the middle of the week but staff is so friendly and helpful! I'm gluten free due to a wheat allergy and they were able to provide a gluten free pizza crust and it was amazing! It was chewy and crisp! Drinks are great too! So many fun cocktails along with a huge selection of beers. Such a great place to go while in Salida! read more

Amicas Pizza has the best gluten free pizza in the state of Colorado. They even had dairy free options for our daughter. All of their ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Seriously the best!!! read more

Omg! This place is delicious. I had the Amicas salad and the cheese pizza. My BF had the soup of the day (chicken pinto beans and green chili) and a pizza with a lot of meat. Everything was so tasty. On top of that, fantastic service. I hardly recommend Amicas pizza. read more

I first try Amicas in July of 2021. We vacationed (hiked and camped) in Colorado for over a week. My boyfriend had been here before. I am gluten and dairy free so I was ecstatic to find gluten free. Beyond that, It was AMAZING!!! Best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten!! Tasted like REAL pizza, which is hard to find for people like me!!! We recently went to Arizona, and on our way back to Missouri, detoured so that we could go to Salida just to eat HERE!!!! It's worth it. So very worth it. Service was great. During the warmer months they have outdoor seating which is great for the open air feel and people watching. read more

Very good dinner we had, haven't been here in quite a few years. The vegetarian calzone with red sauce was simply delicious, stuffed with very tasty roasted veggies and cheese that melted into a sauce unto its own. The special pizza of the evening was a goat cheese, roasted winter squash with pesto and pine nuts. I requested red sauce on the side and this was complimentary and absolutely right on in flavor. Dinner salads were more than ample and filled with fresh goodies. Parking in the evening was right out front and the table and service were comfortable and welcoming. Had leftovers and they were wrapped well. Nice dinner at Amicas. read more

Very tasty pizza! They had outdoor seating which we enjoyed with the nice weather but plenty of seating inside. Staff was friendly but not as attentive as other places but we were checked on. We would go back for sure if in the area. read more

This really scratched the pizza itch we were having on a weekend in town. My husband went the all meat route and I opted for the Thai option, both were very good, though not earth shattering. Good service and atmosphere and the beers were thirst quenching as well. Overall, a solid pizza joint. read more

This place is okay. Subpar pasta, strange bread. Husband got the pizza and wasn't a fan. Sometimes it's hard to find good food in tourist towns. They were out of quite a few beers too. That was disappointing. read more

Amicas Pizza & Microbrewery - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken - Pizza Near Me - Salida, Colorado

I visited this gem a couple evenings ago. Busy on a Friday but we were blessed w getting seated pretty quickly. We were served Pastas, Salads, Pies/Pizza, Cakes. The portions here are always consistent and large. I've been here several times and just have to come back on nearly every visit. They really have it down when it comes to being generous and accommodating. Customer pleasing is key. I can't recommend this place enough. I love having the mediterranean pizza as a pasta instead, it is absolutely divine. The picture below is of a lunch that I previously enjoyed w some family. We shared the large salad and still didn't finish it, as you can see the portions are huge. read more

We had a great experience here. The whole crew waits on you and takes care of you. The man who took our order seemed like he might be the owner. He admitted the lasagna was enough to share as was the salad that came with it. So we ordered the sausage lasagna and a bottle of wine. It was hands down the best lasagna I've ever had and plenty of food for two people. read more

Came here with a group of several guys. Amica's was terrific. The place has an old Colorado charm on the inside. As we ordered, an old local yocal sitting at the bar was giving us orientation on what to choose. The menu is mainly italian - pizzas and calzones, pastas, sandwiches, and salads. We had salads and a soup of the day that was a spicy green chili cup of goodness. Amica's also offers an assortment of local brews on tap. The night we were there, there was a Gingerbread Stout and a Chili Ale, along with a lot of other beers. So, if you're into craft beers, I think this would be a good place to try out. read more

5 stars -for the pizza. Best gluten free crust I have ever had. It did take awhile to cook but was well worth it. I will definitely come back for that! 1 star- for the service. Our waitress Josephine was very off. I hope she was just having a bad day because she was rude a couple of times. She also seemed like our questions were bothering her. If this is her normal attitude, maybe she should find another career. All in all I would come back because pizza was amazing and reasonably priced. read more

Nice service. Excellent cocktails. Interesting Pizza. Fresh salads. Sweet owner. Everything is good here. Popular spot here.

Foods great, seems nutritious, GF pizza crust is good. Service is slow and moody (read mostly nice, but it's not predictable nice). Dogs are unwelcome. 2 years since that last review; I've changed my rating from 3 stars to 1 and added this review: With the notoriously long waits, in line, in addition to slow service & the unpredictable nature of moods; I've given up on Amicas. I can make my own pizza at this pace & there are plenty of other greAt restaurants in Salida! read more

I'm only giving them a one because I asked for beer and it arrived. Nothing else arrived from that point forward. We sat 45 minutes waiting for a just ok salads, only arriving after I politely asking. It got worst, keep in mind we order all at the same time. I once again patiently waited 20 minutes, for what turned out to be a cardboard piece of cheese. 100 bucks later we took it to go, no comp on anything, not even the ok salads. What really was disappointing was after asked about our order, seeing her laughing in the back. There are far better places than this tourist trap. I'll never go back. read more

Huge portions, amazing root beer, and great service! I had the calzone and you should definitely split it with someone else. Awesome place!

For some reason not much was open at like 9 on a Friday? But this place was sooo good. We all got 2 drinks and a personal pizza. I got the Salsiccia and it was plenty of food! My only "complaint" would be that all the toppings were thrown in the middle of the pizza in a tower of toppings lol but who cares. Sitting outside is so fun with the nice summer weather and seeing the tours/skaters go by. The area is awesome and the town is so fun! Salida rocks can't wait to go back. read more

Fabulous wood fired pizza. Wish I was a local so I could try all the types. When in Salida this place is a must try.

Have you ever had a culinary orgasm? We did. M and I stopped here last night on the recommendation of the hotel manager. Wow. First of all it's beyond cozy. Secondly, it was clean as a whistle. Two things that I truly appreciate. You order at the counter, pay and find a table. Both of us ordered an IPA, and a pizza that was beyond to die for. The pizza. My God. How do I describe it? Nirvana. It was called the Vesuvio. First of all, the crust was perfect. Not too thin and not too thick. The quintessential New York style. The sauce actually had flavor, not just a smear of food-service tomato paste. There were ample toppings. We decided to add Italian sausage on top, it was divine. Finally crumbled, no gristle but pure flavor. We sat outside on F Street, And watched the locals and tourists go by. It was simply beautiful evening, accented by the canopy and Edison lights that were above us as we dined. A visit to Salida simply would not have been proper without dinner at this wonderful place! I recommend it wholeheartedly with no reservations. Enjoy! read more

Great locally owned business! I've been coming here for 23+ years...this business use to be Il Vicino's when we first moved to town. Kathie Y a local woman purchased it many years ago changed a few things up and the name to make it hers and has owned it every since and some of her stuff now own it with her. Amicas moved from 2nd street to F street almost 5 years ago. Great pizza! Great salad! Great beer! Great desserts! Highly recommended!! read more

Went there on 9/25/21 for lunch. We were driving through the decided to stop here. Tables outside and a big inside. They had 3 of their own beers and a bunch of guest taps. They had a Red, brown an ipa and a Oktoberfest on tap. The red was really good. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad. It was ok. Nothing special. Moonlight was better. Service was mediocre. Never checked on us while we were eating. It was busy. But noticed many tables not being checked on. 2 stars just cause the beer was good. read more

I got totally fooled here. Anyone leaving 5 stars for this place doesn't know a good pizza from their elbow. Everything looks amazing on paper, then you open the box and inside is a pizza on frozen cracker crust cooked in a wood fired oven. Too heavy handed with the toppings as well, but I guess you're trying to hide the fact you don't even give a shit enough to make dough from scratch. The roasted red peppers on the pie came from a jar ffs Kinda hate to give one star since the beer list, vibe, and staff were top notch, but this place is a waste of a wood fired oven. Shame! read more
