First time for us in the new location. On a Sunday afternoon. At first I thought it was too crowded and because a couple of us have mobility issues it looked like we would be seated a very long way (for us) from the buffet. But having asked to be closer to the buffet, we were led to the buffet and-- Lo! -- a doorway opposite the buffet opened into a large banquet room. Perfect for people with several children, large groups, folks with mobility challenges. The room was nearly empty, though filled nicely during our visit. Ebb and flow. Fortunately for us, by the time we chose our first plates and returned to the table, the group that included about 7 noisy children right behind us had left. Food was hot enough or cold enough and always plenty enough. Table service was quick and efficient. When large groups left, staff was right there cleaning up-- floors, tables, chairs. Staff seemed very pleasant and eager to be helpful. I usually get peel and eat shrimp at Chinese buffets, not sure why I didn't except that there were so many other choices. The only shrimp I got was that one stuffed shrimp, breading packed around a whole shrimp. The baked salmon was very good, overcooked only around the edges, otherwise perfect. There was also baked cod available. The hot and sour soup was excellent... that is my usual must-have for a good Chinese restaurant. It was hot, it was sour, and it was in broth, not gravy. I have never eaten french fries at a Chinese buffet so I don't know what possessed me, but they were quite good. If I hadn't wanted to try the lo mein, I would have gotten more fries. The green beans, as much a Chinese buffet staple as 5 ways to serve broccoli, were tops... tender enough and crisp enough. The only thing I ate that I thought was too salty was the breading on the stuffed shrimp. And of the foods I'd sampled, my only other suggestion would be less mayo on the broccoli salad. So all that and why did I give only 4 stars? Answer: the price. It was Sunday, so one price all day. And there were crab legs... and plenty of them. But if you're not having crab legs (and none of us did) then $20 (19.99) is rather much for Chinese buffet. I would go again to the Amherst Buffet, but for lunch on a weekday. I hope soon I can compare the experiences.

Mostly seafood options, and a California roll

Amazing buffet, you are at a place where there are options, such as, seafood, normal meat, vegetables and sweets. The service was okay, they got you drinks, but there wasn't service when it came down to food (other than picking up your plates for you of course). The place was decorated nicely, the part I found the best was the lighting and clean seating... I would definitely recommend.

    All thy food

The food was the best food in the world went for grandpa's b'day and everyone else loved it. Great service everything 10 minutes they asked if we need a refill on our drink but the dessert tastes horrible

Arrived in the sun. Rode home in the rain.

This was my first time back since they moved to this new location. I try my best to stay out of AYCE buffets because I tend to approach it like a challenge. How many platefuls can I eat? Am I even getting my money's worth if I don't make it past seconds? I've got to at least make it to thirds or fourths, right? So yeah, mostly I avoid places like this. But not today! The whole reason I came this time was because I have been craving eggrolls but I haven't indulged because I'm on a mission to drop 30 pounds for a $300 pair of Kevlar motorcycle jeans I bought at the end of last riding season. They fit but I don't like the muffin top they give me. So for the last few months I've been being very good and sticking to my calorie goal for the day. I told myself as soon as I hit the half way mark (15 pounds for those of you who can't do math) I'd reward myself and see if I could eat enough eggrolls to turn into one! Well, yesterday I hit the halfway mark to my goal! I was greeted as soon as I entered, I noticed it was very clean, I asked for a table for 1, and I was taken right to a table where server came over and asked what I wanted to drink. She came back with it a moment later and I made my way over to the buffet. The good: The sautéed potatoes were very good. So was the fried zucchini. As was the pepper steak, and the sautéed string beans. The soda was fizzy. The service was quick. The bad: The eggrolls were very hard and dry. I asked my server if more would be coming out soon, she went to go look, and came back to tell me there were a lot out. I told her yes there were but they were very hard and dry. She went to the kitchen, came back out, and a few minutes later a man came out and set a plate with two eggrolls on it on the table next to the servers station. She immediately brought it over to me. They weren't fresh out of the fryer but they were definitely better then the other ones. Warmer for sure and less dried out but still pretty hard and chewy. Oh well. There was too much fish sauce in the chicken and broccoli. It was downright fishy. I couldn't eat it. The dumplings were also too chewy. The bbq pork that was labeled bbq chicken wasn't bad. But it wasn't exactly good either. The fried rice had a weird yellowish color rather than brown like it was premade and frozen out of a bag, which it probably was. But I went to stuff my face, and stuff my face I did. So I'll call it a win. But I probably won't go back.

4 star for food quality and verity, 2 star for ambiance for an AYCE buffet restaurant. They offer a quite good choice of main items in the buffet. The deep fried blue crab and the stuffed mussels are good! The choices for dessert is limited. A renovation and some upgrade can really add few more stars to this place.

On Feb 15th on my cousin's birthday, we went to the Escape Room for his birthday and we had some fun! It was scary but it was fun at the same time, but I will save that for another review! But back to the food, the service was great, and we get to make our own food, and the ones that were shown in the picture are the ones I grabbed is the meal that I had last month, the rice with mushrooms with calamari, kani and some sushi and seaweed! And yes they were very good, although I do think the calamari was a little bit chewy and the red pepper was too spicy for me, but however, it was so good that made me sleepy the entire day! But would I come back again? Yes I would! But I will tone down the red pepper sauce the next time I come back

The food was very hot and fresh! There are lots of things to choose from! They are always filling up as they go along. Such as chicken wings, fries, and pizza for kids or adults. 6 different stations of hot foods to choose from. A variety of desserts and cups of ice cream. The sushi bar was excellent, and the hibachi was just as good! They also have a salad bar and soups. Service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was very clean, bright with lots of seating available. They use smaller dinner plates and this is good because people waste too much! They have assorted drinks to choose from. You can also order take out and build your own box. Below are price charts and pictures.

This has been my go to spot for good Chinese food that's not takeout. Their food is consistently good, the tables are always clean, and the prices are reasonable enough that you can get just one plate(or two, no judgement) and not feel like you have to eat 10 plates to get your money's worth. They also have decent enough sushi(if you're a sushi snob, skip it) and really good made to order hibachi. I'd say that's one of the highlights. There's little ice cream cups for the kids and a pretty extensive salad bar for whoever wants that too. Service is fast and vibe is very casual.

Amaaaziiingg. Five stars. One of my new favorite spots. I LOVE buffets. No complains at all. Everything was warm and fresh. Food was constantly being refilled. They had a nice big selection. Staff and service was great. Everything was quick. And at an unbeatable price! I think i went on like a random weekday night, maybe like a tuesday around 7:30. It wasn't too crowded, but not empty either. The place is pretty big and we were seated immediately. Nothing fancy, just a simple buffet, like something right out of the 90s. If you want a lot of food for a cheap price. This is your spot. Try something new while you're there!

    Pastries and cake for dessert.

Whats difference between Lunch buffet and dinner buffets?

    (716)835-9898

Has anyone been lately (4/21/2001)? How are they operating?

    They hit the 2nd tower.

Is the buffet open? How are they handling Covid?

All u can eat Crab legs? On what days? How much does it cost?

They don't always put the same things out everyday, but most days yes. So, you can probably find crab legs everyday, more so after lunchtime ,which ends at 3:30pm. Dinner & weekend prices are $12.99 per person.

    How much is it?

$16 for adults for dinner and on weekends. I only go for dinners. It's a bit on the high side but they such a huge selection that it's understandable.

    Are the restrooms handicap accessible?

    Yes.

Do they have regular Chinese food too.. also Is the sushi fresh and taste good?

Yes they do, and In my experience the sushi has always been quite fresh

Does this buffet serve crab legs during lunch hours on weekdays?

Probably not. It's available on weekends lunch, but not on weekdays!

You do not have to be a student or staff to eat here, the sign at the entry makes it clear that everyone is welcome. I work on campus, and my colleague and I decided to give it a try yesterday for the first time for a breakfast brainstorming session. We rode the bus out to Ellicott Complex, and with the help of some friendly students, found our way to the Red Jacket building. I had no idea what to expect, other than there is an effort to locally source the food served at C3. When we arrived, we realized it is an all-you-can-eat set-up. There is a cashier in the lobby, who you pay before going in. Prices slightly vary based on method of payment. I used my bank card, and paid $10.66 total. Inside the dining hall, there is a huge circular buffet that takes up the entire middle of the large space. It's surrounded by various seating options, (booths, tables, a bar area, couches by a fireplace), all done in a modern, sleek aesthetic. The breakfast food options were abundant. There is: * A yogurt, granola and fruit parfait station * A milk & cereal station (at least half a dozen cereals to choose from) * A baked goods station (muffins, danish, pastries, donut holes) * A Belgian waffle station with toppings * An oatmeal and toppings station * A bagel and toast station with toppings (butter, cream cheeses, PB and jellies) * A hot-line station with scrambled eggs, hash browns, french toast, sausage and bacon * A made-to-order kiosk for omelets, eggs any style, custom breakfast sandwiches, and a variety of pancake flavors * A condiments area with hot sauces, mayo, ketchup, mustard, etc. * A beverage bar with coffee, soda, juice, and a cappuccino machine So before getting there, I didn't realize it was AYCE, and was in the mindset to order something healthy and light. My typical workday breakfast at the office is a yogurt and some fruit. I'd splurge a little, but was thinking eggs and wheat toast. NOPE'ERS!!! I big-time splurged, and did two rounds of several plates. I tried the omelets. I tried the pancakes. I tried the oatmeal. I had all the meats and scrambled eggs. I ate the baked goods. I had coffee, cappuccino, and soda. All for about ten bucks!!! And the food? It was pretty good! The hot-line food wasn't sizzling hot, but it's a buffet, so what you'd expect. The made-to-order options I tried came out hot and fast. I love oatmeal, and the oatmeal with toppings was smooth and satisfying. The coffee was good, and the cappuccino machine was a nice perk. We hit a sweet-spot in timing, 9:30am, which seemed to be after the early-bird students were gone and before a small rush of sleep-in students showed up around 10:00am. Even so, it was never packed with gen-Z'ers. And the ones who were there were mellow and tame, no college party scene here. ;-) I definitely want to bring my husband and kids back sometime. The M&M pancakes are reason enough to bring my kids back, they'd love them. And for $10 a person, less if I put money on my UBBucks card, it's a super-steal of a deal. Dinner prices are higher, but still seem incredibly reasonable. Especially since the breakfast buffet used only HALF of the buffet space, so my guess is the dinner spread is even MORE food. One last tip. I mentioned we rode the bus, but it's not necessary. There are parking lots in Ellicott Complex, which usually have more parking available than by my office in the heart of North Campus. So check out a campus map, park near Red Jacket, find your way to C3, and wear your stretchy pants. Great price, ample variety, good food, nice atmosphere, feel like a college kid again, and leave the belt at home!
